The Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word
Of The Eternal God.
The Only
Bible we Recommend Is The King James / A.V. Bible.
Here’s the reason, shocking but enlightening truth: The
Bible Is Used To Deceive
Leviticus
26:17
And I will set my face against you, and
ye shall be slain before your enemies:
they that hate you shall reign over
you; and
ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
Ezekiel 20:26 ……
that I might make them
desolate, to the end
that they might know that I am the LORD.
A Message From Peter James
NAME IT AND CLAIM IT
There
are many promises in the bible from one end to the other.
One
such promise is:
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in
prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
The
result of verses such as this one is that a doctrine of many Christian Churches
states
that we can simply find the promise of a blessing in the bible, which allows us
to name it,
then
we can pray to receive it, which allows us to claim it.
The
reality of this is that Name it and claim it, is a half-truth.
A
half-truth qualifies as a lie.
We
need to realise that there are conditions to the many promises in the Bible.
It is
utterly wrong to mislead people, and to teach them that we can live in utter
rebellion
to
the laws, and statutes of the Eternal, because we are now under grace,
and
yet we will still receive the blessings stated in His Word.
Not
only it will never happen, but, nothing could be further from the truth.
Blessings
are conditional on Obedience.
Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if
thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice
of
the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his
commandments which I command
thee
this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the
earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee,
and overtake thee,
if
thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD
thy God.
Deuteronomy 28:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the
words
which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or
to the left,
to go after other
gods to serve them.
As is
normal for us, we then proceed to do the exact opposite of what we have been
commanded,
but at the same time we expect to receive the promised blessings.
Blessings
require Faith.
In
Nazareth, Christ could not do any mighty works,
which
would have been tremendous blessings on the people, because of unbelief.
Mark 6:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his
hands upon
a few
sick folk, and healed them.
6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief.
And
he went round about the villages, teaching.
Seeking
Blessings while in Rebellion invites punishment.
The Promise to Joshua.
Joshua 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall
tread upon,
that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand
before thee all the days of thy life:
as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will
not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
According to the promises, the nation of Israel could
expect to easily conquer
the entire promised land, just as easily as Jericho
had been delivered into their hand.
Joshua 6:2 And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have
given into thine hand Jericho,
and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.
They obeyed the Eternal and the walls fell down flat.
Joshua 6:20 So the people
shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets:
and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound
of the trumpet,
and the people shouted with a great shout, that the
wall fell down flat,
so that the people went up into the city, every man
straight before him,
and they took the city.
The Reality is that obedience is required.
When they went to capture the city of Ai, it was a
disaster, because Achan had disobeyed
the very clear instruction of Joshua when they
conquered Jericho.
He stole and hid things which he should not have done.
Therefore Israel’s subsequent first attack on Ai
failed.
In this situation only 36 people were killed,
In other acts of rebellion multiple thousands have
died and years in captivity was
a consequence of the sin and rebellion of the nation
of Israel.
This happened repeatedly throughout the history of
Israel and Judah.
Joshua 7:11 Israel
hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which
I commanded them: for they have even
taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen,
and dissembled also, and they have put it even among
their own stuff.
12 Therefore
the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies,
but turned their backs before their enemies, because
they were accursed:
neither will I be with you any more, except
ye destroy the accursed from among you.
We can see that seeking blessings while in rebellion,
can result in suffering and even destruction of
others, today we say ‘collateral damage’.
Therefore we need to remember that our actions good
and bad have an affect on others.
Israel continually rebelled and did the exact opposite
of what the Eternal commanded,
and the paid the penalty.
The sooner that we realize that obedience is a
critical necessity,
and not an intellectual optional extra the better for
us all.
It is clearly spelt out in great detail throughout the
bible that if we disobey,
we will not only suffer and even die, but we can also
lose our salvation.
The following verse starts one list of curses for
disobedience.
It is very clear indeed that promised blessings are
inextricably linked to obedience.
The following verse is the start of a list of curses
for disobedience and rebellion.
Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to
pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice
of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his
commandments and his statutes
which I command thee this day; that all these curses
shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Note that this verse does not say that we can do what
we feel pleased to do,
but rather we must do the things that are pleasing to
the Eternal God.
Sometimes we have to be patient
when we are not in a state of rebellion.
We are accustomed to instant everything.
Often the Eternal will give us our heart's desires
which are not going to be detrimental to us, aw we learn to ask according to His will,
but we have to wait, as he develops patience,
or other God required qualities into our being.
We should also remember that almost all the time the Eternal has a program of refinement
that He is carrying out in our lives, and if we just named it and it was instantly provided,
we could be counteracting the very thing that the Eternal God is trying to create in us and achieve
in our transformation.
It is also important to note as James said we often ask amiss and I can add
that we are so involved with our own little world, often we can forget the vast majority
which do not know God and are living poor, empty, miserable, pointless lives.
It is helpful to widen our often narrow focus of concern to others besides our extended selves.
When considering naming it and claiming it we must
remember the following verse,
which summarizes the truth concisely.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him,
because we keep his commandments, and do those things
that are pleasing in his sight.
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
Praise the Lord.
Come soon Lord Jesus.
Amen.
