LESSONS FROM HURRICANE KATRINA
1) We
are in the Tribulation and sooner or later we will all have our Katrina or
Tsunami.
See our Rhema:
2) We
are under judgment.
See We reap what we sow, there is no
escape, nowhere to hide.
There is a price to pay for idolatry and homosexuality, whether there are laws
to prohibit us from saying these things does not matter in the slightest.
If you join the club and buy the goods you must pay the price.
According to the Catholic Publication "our Sunday Visitor",
New Orleans is "the most Catholic city in America," (Our Sunday Visitor, 10/15/95).

told help is coming Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday,

Friday. It never happened.
In
the process many died.
We
must question what we are told by the various ministers and leaders whether
they
are political or religious.
Our
Eternal life is far too important for us to be careless in proving what we are
told.
The
Eternal is our salvation.
We
have absolutely no choice as there is no other name under heaven whereby we can
be saved.
This
applies to our spiritual as well as our physical salvation.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there
salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven
given
among men, whereby we must be saved.
This
means that we cannot save ourselves or even our loved ones who are close to us.
No
amount of physical preparation, such as storage of food, water, and even guns
as some
religious
groups suggest will save us.
As
Katrina showed in a very short time absolutely everything that has been
accumulated
over
a lifetime can be lost.
Distraught resident Harvey Jackson told a local television station about
losing his wife
in the floodwater as they stood on their roof.
"I held her hand as tight as I could and she told me, 'You can't
hold me.'
She said 'Take care of the kids and the grandkids,' " he sobbed. (Victims
left with nothing)
We
must never make the mistake to think that we are better than the people who
have
suffered in the Katrina catastrophy or the terrible December 2004 Tsunami.
Regardless
of how we think, we must remember,
Romans 3:23 For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
There
are no exceptions whatsoever.
Therefore
there is no point of being pompous and arrogant,
because
but for the grace of God there goes every one of us.
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened
his mouth, and said,
Of a
truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
It
then follows that we must make it our business to have genuine care and
concern
for the poor, the suffering, those who lost family, and all their possessions,
also
our brothers and sisters who are caught up in this horrific tragedy.
We
must pray for deliverance out of this dilemma,
for
protection, for provision, hope and encouragement for people who are just like
us,
with
the same potential. Of course we should support physically as we are able,
but
our prayers are not a going through the motions empty exercise.
They
will make a very important and great difference.
That
is what the Eternal expects of us.
As
one Katrina survivor said ‘Where do we go from here?’
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus
Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
Praise the Lord.
