The Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word Of the Eternal God

We Recommend The King James / A.V Bible,

with most other translations The Bible Is Used To Deceive

All Of Our Rituals,                                   Are An Abomination to The Eternal God.

All Of Our Festivals,                               Are An Abomination to The Eternal God.

All Of Our Pagan Practices,                  Are An Abomination to The Eternal God.

The Eternal God Is Not A Robotic Moron, On Whom We Make Demands,

And Whom we Obey, As We Like, And When It Is Convenient To Do So.

Christ Is Our Living, Loving, Personal Saviour.    There Is No Other.

Christ Is The Solution To All Our Problems.          There Is No Other.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is One God, and

One Mediator between God and men,

                                              The Man, Christ Jesus.

If This Verse Is Not In Your Bible, Your Bible Is Corrupt. – Throw It Away.

You Have Been Deceived Into Serving Satan, the god of this world.

Sincerity Is Not The Issue.

You can be sincere and still be wrong.

Feast Days In The Bible Still Apply Today

 By Peter James from:   www.peterjamesx.com

The Feast Days were given to Israel and to the strangers that joined themselves to Israel,

today it is for all peoples and nations.

These days are a package, which need to be seen as beautiful and complete.

There are many direct links between several of these special days.

It should be noted that it is clearly stated that no work should be done on them.

They are days of rejoicing.

Even the Fast Day of Atonement gives us something to rejoice about.

Of course on these days things which need to be done, such as giving aid,

and assisting those in need, should always be carried out.

Exodus 12:49  One law shall be to him that is homeborn,

and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

We believe that this still applies to the New Testament believers.

In other words ALL of us should obey the commandments and ordinances,

See: Sabbath And The Law.htm

although they do not earn us salvation.

It is not a matter of picking and choosing what we are going to accept

and what we are going to reject.

They serve a great purpose and explain the plan of God to us.

In the Old Testament there was a condition to the eating the Passover.

Unconverted non believers should not eat the Passover.

We believe that this still applies today.

The Festivals were commanded assemblies.

Leviticus 23:1 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations,

which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

Unfortunately as genuine believers can be widely scattered,

and separated by great distances, this might not be possible.

When discussing the Feast days it is important to notice that in Leviticus 23

where the Feast days, which are annual Sabbaths, are mentioned in order,

the very first Feast mentioned is the weekly Sabbath.

See: Sabbath And The Law   Sabbath Keeping

Instead of observing this day, we do our utmost to do away with this Feast Day.

The weekly Sabbath was given at Creation, therefore it preceded the Jews

who only existed thousands of years later.

The weekly Sabbath is directly linked to the Feast of Tabernacles, which it pictures.

We have written several documents on the Sabbath,

which are available on our Website.

The first annual festival and festival season mentioned is Passover

and Unleavened Bread.

Passover and Unleavened Bread

Leviticus 23:5  In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S Passover.

Leviticus 23:6  And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened

bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

Leviticus 23:7  In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation:

ye shall do no servile work therein.

The Passover represents the Lords New Testament Supper.

See: Passover

In the Bible Leaven is used to represent sin, it is always used in a negative sense.

Therefore in the Old Testament putting out of leaven represented putting out sin

out of our lives.

Of course the important thing is to actually put sin out of our lives.

1 Corinthians 5:6  Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth

the whole lump?

1 Corinthians 5:7  Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump,

as ye are unleavened.

For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:

1 Corinthians 5:8  Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven,

neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness;

but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

We can note that the religious authorities at the time of Christ produced

a lot of leaven, much as is happening today.

Luke 12:1    Christ said . . . Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees,

    which is hypocrisy.

In the Old Testament the Passover was the day when the lives of ancient Israel,

who were slaves in Egypt, were literally saved because they obeyed the command.

of the Eternal God and killed a lamb,

which represented Christ and daubed the blood over the doors of their homes.

When the death angel saw the blood on the door posts and lintels,

He actually passed over their houses.

The Egyptians who did not do this suffered the death of the first born of man

and animals.

Exodus 12:12  For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night,

and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast;

and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment:

I am the LORD.

Exodus 12:13  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are:

and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Exodus 12:14  And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Exodus 12:15  Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day

ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread

from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

Exodus 12:16  And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation,

and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work

shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat,

that only may be done of you.

Exodus 12:26  And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you,

What mean ye by this service?

Exodus 12:27  That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover,

who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt,

when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.

And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

Christ came as our Passover.

The apostles who had received the Holy Spirit became

the 12 foundations in the wall of the New Jerusalem.

No Passover and No Atonement, No Salvation.

He was the perfect sacrifice who atoned and died for our sins.

The Passover is closely linked to the Day of Atonement, which is a FAST day.

Since Christ died for our sins all the requirements of animal sacrifices

are no longer required.

These animal sacrifices could not wipe out our sins,

whereas the blood of Christ did precisely that.

Luke 22:1  Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh,

which is called the Passover.

Mark 14:6  And his disciples went forth, and came into the city,

and found as he had said unto them:

and they made ready the passover.

Mark 14:17  And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.

18  And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you,

One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

Mark 14:22  And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed,

and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is (represents) my body.

Mark 14:23  And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks,

he gave it to them:  and they all drank of it.

Mark 14:24  And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament,

which is shed for many.

Mark 14:25  Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine,

until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

The animal sacrifices were replaced by the literal sacrifice of Christ.

As we have seen above, Christ then instituted Bread and Wine as the symbols

of His Flesh and Blood.

They are symbols.

They are not the reality as the Roman Catholics teach in their false doctrine

of transubstantiation.

If it is made out of flour, and it looks like bread, and it tastes like bread,

IT IS BREAD

Feast Of First Fruits - Pentecost

Pentecost 50th day 7 weeks after the harvest-consecrating, sheaf-waving ceremony,

the Day of the First Fruits.

Numbers 28:26  Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering

unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation;

ye shall do no servile work:

Deuternomomy 16:10  And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God

with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God,

according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

Deuternomomy 16:11  And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son,

and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that

is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you,

in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

Deuternomomy 16:12  And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt:

and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

It is easy to think that we were not slaves in Egypt,

but the reality is that we were all slaves to Satan.

Some were deceived and others willing served him.

All genuine believers have been freed from the captivity of Satan.

Note the command to rejoice.

In the New Testament, Pentecost is regarded as the time of the birth of the Church.

Acts 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord

in one place.

Acts 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,

and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire,

and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak

with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

We then see the first group to be baptised and to receive the Holy Spirit as had happened

to the apostles in the Upper room. They became the church.

Acts 2:41  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:

and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The apostles who had received the Holy Spirit became

the 12 foundations in the wall of the New Jerusalem.

Revelation 21:14  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations,

and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

We should note that the Strongs Number for tongues <1100>,

gives the meaning of:

1a) the language or dialect used by a particular people distinct from that of other nations.

Acts 2:5 states that there were devout men from every nation under heaven were

in Jerusalem at that time. Therefore the tongues, that is the languages spoken,

related to the people who were present. The apostles were not speaking gibberish

which the hearers would not be able to understand.

This was obviously a great miracle for a few disciples to speak

and to be understood by thousands of Jews from every nation under heaven.

Acts 2:5  And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Like all the Feast days, this is an exceedingly important day to be acknowledged and remembered.

The definition of a Christian can be said to be someone in whom, the Holy Spirit dwells,

and who obeys the leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

No Holy Spirit no salvation.

It is truly a day of rejoicing.

The Feast of Trumpets

Here are some aspects of the Feast of Trumpets in the New Testament.

The book of Revelation is introduced with a Trumpet.

Revelation 1:10  I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice,

as of a trumpet,

Throughout the book we have the strange situation, wheN

the speaking is said to be as a trumpet, as in the above verse.

This must signify that all the events in the book of Revelation are not normal

but more in the nature of war.

Trumpet blasts herald a dramatic worsening of an already deteriorating situation

as Christ’s return becomes nearer.

Revelation 8:13  And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven,

saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason

of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

It is the signal to sound the alarm for the Tribulation both to the Jew and Gentile Churches.

Old Testament Feast of Trumpets pictured the time of Jesus Christ’s second coming.

Jesus Christ’s first coming was a quiet affair, He came as a babe in a manger.

The New Testament Feast of Trumpets pictures the second return of Christ in great power

and glory. This is a world shaking terrifying event.

Everyone will hear the supernatural blast of the trumpet, and everyone will see Him,

as he comes to establish God’s Kingdom here on earth.

It is the time when Christ comes to take the veil away from all nations

Revelation 11: 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven,

saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;

and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The Feast of Trumpets is a commanded holy assembly or holy annual Sabbath.

It is first mentioned in the book of Leviticus 23:24.

Leviticus 23:24  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month,

in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets,

an holy convocation.

Leviticus 23:25  Ye shall do no servile work therein:

The Feast of Trumpets is to be celebrated on the first day of the seventh month.

It is a day of rest, a holy Sabbath with the blowing of trumpets.

This day pictures the blowing of trumpets, to warn the world of impending disaster through

the Tribulation.  It points to the imminent the dynamic return of Jesus Christ in power

and great glory, as ordained by His father.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat

upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

When the seventh trumpet sounds

1 Corinthians.15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:

for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,

with the voice of the archangel,

and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Revelation 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven,

saying,

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;

and he shall reign for ever and ever.

We can see that this is also a time of resurrection.

In the Old Testament Trumpets were used:

v To call the people of Israel to assemble.

v To call the tribal leaders to assemble.

v To sound the alarm of war, and as a signal to attack the enemy.

v To accompany the praises of the congregation at the appointed Feasts/festivals.

v To announce the new moon celebrations, every month.

v To proclaim the crowning of kings

v And to announce the year of Jubilee.

Revelation 19:6  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of

many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God

omnipotent reigneth.

Revelation 19:7  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage

of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Revelation 19:8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen,

clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Revelation 19:9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto

the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

The fulfilment of this great day of Trumpets is very near.

May the Lord help us to found worthy to partake of the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Matthew 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,

and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power

and great glory.

Matthew 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet,

and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven

to the other.

The Day of Atonement

This is a day of fasting to afflict our souls.

Leviticus 23:27  Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day

of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls,

and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Leviticus 23:28  And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement,

to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

Leviticus 23:29  For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day,

he shall be cut off from among his people.

Leviticus 23:30  And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day,

the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Leviticus 23:31  Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout

your generations in all your dwellings.

Leviticus 23:32  It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls:

in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.

This day is related to the Passover, which depicts Christ’s death on the cross.

This day pictures some of the results of Christ’s sacrifice, by dying in our place, for our sins.

Since the time of our first parents Adam and Eve, we have all been born under the generational

curse of death.

     Romans 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;

and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

In addition to this, we all have sinned.

Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Christ’s death as the perfect literal Passover Lamb, made it possible for us

to be At-One-Ment, with God.

1 Timothy 2:5  For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,

the man Christ Jesus;

Our Holy and Righteous God could have no fellowship whatsoever with sin and sinners.

It is like expecting an ice cube not to melt in the middle of a nuclear explosion.

For this reason we needed a mediator to atone for us so that the relationship which

the Eternal God, wanted all along could actually take place.

Hebrews 9:15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,

that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under

the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

The Old Testament ordinances on the day of Atonement were very significant.

There were two goats one was killed which represents Christ,

and the other had the sins of the nation spoken over it

and then it was released into the wilderness.

This is referred to as the scapegoat which represents Satan.

Leviticus 16:7  And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door

of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Leviticus 16:8  And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD,

and the other lot for the scapegoat.

Leviticus 16:9  And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him

for a sin offering.

Leviticus 16:10  But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD,

to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

Without Christ’s Sacrifice and His atonement for our sins we would not be able to be saved

and to have Eternal Life.

The Feast Of Tabernacles

Leviticus 23:34  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying,

The fifteenth day of this seventh month

shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

Leviticus 23:35  On the first day shall be an holy convocation:

ye shall do no servile work therein.

Leviticus 23:36  Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD:

on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer

an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly;

and ye shall do no servile work therein.

Leviticus 23:37  These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim

to be holy convocations

Leviticus 23:38  Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts,

and beside all your vows,

and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.

Leviticus 23:39  Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month,

when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land,

ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath,

and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

Leviticus 23:40  And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees,

branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook;

and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

Leviticus 23:41  And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year.

It shall be a statute for ever in your generations:

ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

The Feast Of Tabernacles pictures the 7th day in the plan of God, which is commonly

called the millennium. A period of one thousand years.

2 Peter 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord

as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

At present we are right at the end of the 6,000 years or the 6th day

of the plan of God.

It completely ties in with the weekly Sabbath, which is the seventh day, a day of rest.

It pictures the fact that the earth will be restored as the Garden of Eden,

and Satan will be imprisoned for that entire period.

Revelation 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan,

and bound him a thousand years,

Revelation 20:3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,

that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:

and after that he must be loosed a little season.

When you consider that at present Satan is the god of his world, and all the lies, death,

and gross wickedness is instigated by him, it is easy to see that the world will be a very different place

without his presence.

The source of power of the present political and religious leaders will be locked up for 1,000 years.

This is also the time of the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.

This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:

on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,

and shall reign with him a thousand years.

When we are discouraged with our present daily grind in life, we should think on these things.

At the very same time Christ will be reigning on earth for this entire period,

after He intervenes in world affairs,

in the dramatic way His entrance is pictured by the Feast of Trumpets.

What follows will be a time of Peace, Joy, Happiness and Harmony the like of which has not been seen

since the creation of man.

The very things which we have all yearned for through our entire lives will become a reality.

This is a time of the great harvest of souls.

Isaiah 11:1  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse,

and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

Isaiah 11:2  And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding,

the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Isaiah 11:3  And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Isaiah 11:4  But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:

and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth,

and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Isaiah 11:5  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

Isaiah 11:6  The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 11:7  And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together:

and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

Isaiah 11:8  And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

Isaiah 11:9  They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

As we can see from the above, even the nature of animals will be changed.

Today this is a period when we can rejoice for one week on, and with the blessings,

which we have been given in the past year. It is also a time, when we should be sharing

these blessings with others.

We should never think that blessings are just for us and our extended families.

We should also realize that this is just a tiny physical foretaste of the soon coming future feast

of great spiritual blessings which are beyond our comprehension.

The concept in the Old Testament was that a tithe of income was to be saved, and this was to used

during this period of Feasting. For many this can be a period of self-indulgence on a large scale.

This is totally wrong.

Our Christian calling is so far above what most conceive it to be.

The Epistle of Barnabas puts it this way:

Barnabas 19:8 Thou shalt make thy neighbor partake in all things, and shalt not say that anything

is thine own. For if ye are fellow partakers in that which is imperishable,

how much rather shall ye be in the things which are perishable.

Thou shalt not be hasty with thine own tongue, for the mouth is the snare of death.

So far as thou art able, thou shalt be pure for thy soul's sake.

Barnabas 19:9 Be not thou found holding out thy hands to receive, and drawing them in to give.

Thou shalt love as the apple of thine eye every one that speaketh unto thee the word of the Lord.

The problem with this feast and really also with the others is that some

teach that they no longer apply today.

This is simply not true.

As we have repeatedly written, although we might have some details which are not quite right,

what is certain is that the Sabbath and the Feasts will be kept in the future.

We can also see that days that we do not observe today, because we have lost the knowledge,

such as ‘New Moons’, will also be observed.

If the churches had observed these “appointed Feasts of the Lord”,

we would not have gone so wrong in engineering feasts and holy days which scripture lets us are pagan,

and for which God is now judging the world, especially His Church.

Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another,

and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

The above has never happened, but we are assured that it will.

If we refuse to obey to rejoice, we will be punished.

Yes, even today we bluntly refuse to rejoice and regard the command as a burden.

Zechariah 14:16  And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations

which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King,

the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:17  And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth

unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Zechariah 14:18  And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain;

there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep

the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:19  This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations

that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

The above has never happened, but we are assured that it will.

For those who say it only applies to Israel need to read that it says in verse 17

that it is referring to “all the families of the earth”.

Which of these words do we not understand?

They are all very basic simple words.

In case we miss the point verse 19 spells out the consequences for disobedience to observing

the Feast of Tabernacles and to whom it applies, “the punishment of all nations”.

We have the simple choice to either accept what the bible says or throw the whole book out.

It is very clear that these commands apply at least through to the end of the millennium.

The Festivals of the Eternal pictures His great plan for mankind, which all links together.

I agree that my understanding and observation of these feasts is inadequate.

To rebelliously reject them means that we have no idea whatsoever about what the Eternal God plans.

Because the ‘Christian Church’ has made the freewill decision to reject these days and accept

the counterfeit days of our adversary, they remain in ignorance of His marvellous plan

for us all. Further more the rebellious live a lie utterly deceived by Satan, as instead they, at least

superficially honour Sunday, Easter and Christmas.

As the name Feast implies these are days of rejoicing, even great rejoicing.

Instead of this we regard them as great burdens and suffering which has to be endured.

It is really quite unbelievable.

The Last Great Day.

This day immediately follows the last of the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles,

and is referred to as the Last Great day.

This brings us back to the start of this discourse

I believe that it is this Feast, on the 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles which pictures

several things.

1) The period of time when Satan who had been locked away in the bottomless pit

is now released for a short period.

Revelation 20:3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,

that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:

and after that he must be loosed a little season.

We can see that the first part of this verse dealt with the imprisonment of Satan,

during the 1,000 year reign of Christ. The last part of the verse deals with his subsequent release

for a short period.

2) I believe that this will also be a time of one of several resurrections and judgment.

During this period when Satan is released, hard though it is to imagine, after 1,000 years of peace,

he will again deceive the nations one last time to fight against their Creator.

Revelation 20:8  And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,

Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Revelation 20:9  And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp

of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven,

and devoured them.

Revelation 20:10  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,

where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Here we see that (most likely at the end of the short period after Satan is released),

3) Satan meets his fate in the Lake of Fire.

No wonder Christ spoke on the Last Great Day of the Feast.

John 7:37  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,

If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

    4) On this day rebellious angels will be judged.

Jude 1:6  And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation,

he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

5) This is a day of God’s wrath against all the rebellious human beings who refuse to repent.

Revelation 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

6) This is the implementation of what God had planned for man from the very beginning.

At this time there will be the final opportunity for salvation of a vast harvest of souls.

All those who have not previously had an opportunity to understand God's plan for mankind

and how to be saved.

These souls will be taught how to keep the commandments, by the saints of God.

The following is really our goal.

Revelation 22:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth

were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Revelation 22:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,

prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Revelation 22:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,

and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them,

and be their God.

Revelation 22:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death,

neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 22:5  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

7) This is the start of Eternity Future
