documents.

Here are excerpts from an interview: Jefferson Parish President Broussard,
MR. RUSSERT: Hold on. Hold on, sir.
Shouldn't the mayor of New Orleans and the governor
of New Orleans bear some responsibility? Couldn't they
have been much more forceful,
much more effective and much more organized in evacuating
the area?
MR. BROUSSARD: Sir, they were told like me, every single day, "The
cavalry's coming,"
on a federal level, "The cavalry's coming, the
cavalry's coming, the cavalry's coming."
I have just begun to hear the hoofs of the cavalry.
The cavalry's still not here yet, but I've begun to hear the
hoofs, and we're almost a week out.
Let me give you just three quick examples. We had
Wal-Mart deliver three trucks of water,
trailer trucks of water. FEMA
turned them back. They said we didn't need them.
This was a week ago. FEMA--we had 1,000 gallons of
diesel fuel on a Coast Guard vessel
docked in my parish. The Coast Guard said, "Come
get the fuel right away."
When we got there with our trucks, they got a word. "FEMA says don't give you the fuel."
Yesterday--yesterday--FEMA comes in
and cuts all of our emergency communication lines.
They cut them without notice. Our sheriff, Harry Lee,
goes back in, he reconnects the line.
He posts armed guards on our line and says, "No one is
getting near these lines."
Sheriff Harry Lee said that if America--American government
would have responded
like Wal-Mart has responded, we wouldn't be in this crisis.
MR.
BROUSSARD: ...that have worked 24/7. They're burned out, the
doctors, the nurses. And I want to give you one last story and I'll shut
up and let you tell me whatever you want to tell me. The guy who runs this building I'm in,
emergency management, he's responsible for everything. His mother was
trapped in St. Bernard nursing home and every day she called him and said,
"Are you coming, son? Is somebody coming?" And he said,
"Yeah, Mama, somebody's coming to get you. Somebody's coming to get
you on Tuesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody's
coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody's coming to get you on
Friday." And she drowned Friday night. She drowned Friday
night.
MR. RUSSERT: Mr. President...
MR. BROUSSARD: Nobody's coming to get us. Nobody's coming to get
us. The secretary has promised. Everybody's promised. They've
had press conferences. I'm sick of the press conferences. For God sakes,
shut up and send us somebody.
Interview with Aaron Broussard
In an interview this morning on Meet the Press, Aaron Broussard, President of Jefferson
Parrish, tearfully described the turning-away of supplies by FEMA, the cutting
of local emergency communications by FEMA, and the repeated lies from the
federal officials that help was on the way …

Many feel that somehow they are immune to the lies and
deception.
The above shows that this is not the case at all.
Lies surround us like the deep flood water in New
Orleans.
We must realize that for the whole world to be deceived
in addition to the politicians,
and the churches, it is the media which reaches
throughout the world,
that is Tel-lie-vision, Radio, Newspapers and
magazines,
which will actively promote this deception.
This is not an intellectual matter, but rather a
matter of fact.
The bible does not lie, it means exactly what it says.
Jeremiah 9:6 Thine habitation is in the
midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know
me, saith the LORD.
The following verses make it clear that when you are
watching the news,
you need to ensure that you have prayed
for discernment otherwise you will be deceived.
Often when you see some really distressing pictures on
the Tel-lie-vision,
the commentary negates what you have just seen.
We have to use our God given minds and say to
ourselves what you are saying
just does not make sense.
You have to hear what is said and what is
not said.
Jeremiah 9:2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging
place of wayfaring men;
that I might leave my people, and go from them! for
they be all adulterers,
an assembly of treacherous men.
3 And
they bend their tongues like their bow for lies:
but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth;
for they proceed from evil to evil,
and they know not me, saith the LORD.
4 Take ye
heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother:
for every brother will utterly supplant, and every
neighbour will walk with slanders.
5 And
they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth:
they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary
themselves to commit iniquity.
The shepherds of the people have a responsibility to
those in their care.
Ezekiel 34:2 Son of man,
prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them,
Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel
that
do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the
wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.
4 The diseased have ye not strengthened,
neither have ye healed that which was sick,
neither
have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again
that
which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost;
but
with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
5 And they were scattered, because there is no
shepherd:
and
they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
The shepherds will all learn that they will give an
account to the Eternal God.
Ezekiel 34:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am
against the shepherds;
and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause
them to cease from feeding the flock;
neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more;
for I will deliver my flock from their
mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
The reality is that if you are a church leader, the
Eternal is not interested in your theology.
If you are a political leader, masquerading as a
servant of God,
regardless of what you might think.
Jeremiah 25:34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow
yourselves in the ashes,
ye principal of the flock: for the days of your
slaughter and of your dispersions
are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant
vessel.
Jeremiah 25:35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee,
nor the principal of the flock to escape.
Try and think of these verses when
you see the news and do not try to unsee what you have seen.
The final point is this.
If we do not see clearly the
problems posed by the media, we all will have been successfully
conditioned to believe the soon
coming series of even greater deceptions prior to the return of Christ.
Matthew 24:23
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not.
24 For there
shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and
wonders;
insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I
have told you before.
26 Wherefore if
they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth:
behold, he is in the secret
chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the
lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west;
so shall also the coming of the Son
of man be.
CNN, Fox News, and other TV
stations, the Newspapers and News Magazines are not the Word of God.
They are all part of the system of
the god of this world, therefore we have to be very careful
with what we hear and what we
see.
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but
judge righteous judgment.
I am not for one second suggesting
that these reporters are insincere.
They are not, many endanger their
lives to carry out their assignments.
I have great respect for them.
It is just that often what they say
is scripted, controlled and edited.
Recently there have been reports
and various programs which are uncovering
what is really going on.
I am convinced that this is only
happening because it is ordained by the Eternal.
Let us therefore pray for
discernment and the gift of making righteous judgment.
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but
judge righteous judgment.
As this is the time of the
Tribulation, sadly, things will go from bad to worse.
People who were diligent, worked
hard, and did the best they could,
found out that in a few hours
everything they had achieved and the children they bore,
vanished before their very eyes.
The time is getting shorter each
day.
We must pay attention to these wake
up calls,
and make it our top priority to
turn to Christ before it is too late.
Let us remember and do what we can
to aid the poor and destitute, the widows,
the orphans, the fatherless, the
homeless, and the hopeless.
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
Praise the Lord.
