Coping With Negative
Comments And Accusations
by Peter James
I was speaking to my friend,
who had recently undergone a major
cancer operation.
She was doing quite well, but was a
bit tired from time to time,
because of the very unpleasant
associated treatment.
In our conversation, I could detect
that there was something bothering her.
She then said that she was quite
upset by the negative comments,
which her fellow Christians had
been telling her.
She also wondered if people never
thought about what they were going
to say before they spoke.
Several said that they knew of
others, who had gone through the
very same operation, and the follow
up treatment, and had died.
She just could not get it out of
her mind, that maybe regardless
of the treatment, she was still
going to die prematurely.
It was really bothering her.
My question for you is what advice
would you give this person?
You cannot simply say just forget
it, ignore what they are saying,
because if it were as simple as
that, she would not have had a problem,
she would have dismissed it, and
that would be the end of the matter.
This course of action was not
working for her.
This was the advice that I gave, but I did not include any reference
at all to Satan, and neither did I say that by worrying she was at risk
of continuing to be ill.
All negative and accusative thoughts need to
be vocally rejected immediately.
Sometimes an additional prayer should be
said to nullify the negative event,
which might have been stated.
We need to be very clear indeed
that there are no magic words,
which will remove all problems.
In other words we cannot resort to
a piece of paper on which we have written
the formula down, and now we can
face any situation.
It does not work that way.
In other documents, I have stated
that I have a problem with the hymn,
‘Onward Christian Soldiers’.
It says: “Marching as to war”.
A few days ago another ‘believer’,
said that he was always singing it,
as it was a favourite of his.
This person is always lecturing me
on almost anything that I say.
I explained that I have a problem
with those words.
I said, I am not marching as if I
were going to war.
I am in a war.
It is not future, but rather it is present,
and I am engaged in it,
day in and day out.
All that changes is the way it gets
presented.
Negative and accusative words are
all part of Satan’s warfare.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old
serpent,
called the Devil,
and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:
he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God,
and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down,
which accused them before our God
day and night.
The following verse gives the
principle of rebuking Satan,
in order to overcome him and his
plans
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb,
and by
the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives
unto the death.
Negative and Accusative words have
to be rejected the moment
that they are spoken to you, in
your spirit,
and I would say vocally as soon as
you get an opportunity.
If you do not take this action,
these words will continue to eat away
at you and depress and upset you.
In my extensive document on
Depression,
See the document: Depressed
I explained that depression is a
spiritual condition,
much of it can be related to the
input of negative thoughts,
and of course medication.
Words are either giving life or
death.
It is one of the primary lessons of
the bible,
starting in the book of Genesis.
These are life giving words.
Proverbs 25:11
A word fitly spoken is like apples
of gold in pictures of silver.
Proverbs 12:25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad.
Proverbs 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how
good is it!
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put
their trust in him.
Death should always be rejected.
We must remember that as Satan is
the father of lies,
often his words will be accusing
you, or assigning situations to you,
which the Eternal God has not
decreed, in order to terrify you.
This is precisely what happened to
my friend,
it was implied to her that she would
most likely die.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your
father ye will do. He was a murderer
from the beginning,
and abode
not in the truth, because there is no truth in
him.
When he
speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he
is a liar,
and the father of it.
When you rebuke the negative thought
or accusation,
you could say words to the effect,
I reject these negative, or accusative
words,
as they are not from the Eternal
God.
I refuse to accept them as mine, in
Jesus name.
If you wish you can further add that
they are actually
from our adversary, Satan.
Amend the words to suit your
position.,
my words are only a guide.
You must never be afraid to identify
and tag Satan,
when he attacks you.
In fact he is relying on the fact
that you would be far too frightened,
to do anything about it.
We need to make our environment as
unpleasant for him as possible.
Give him so much grief that he
prefers to go elsewhere.
If you do nothing about the negative
words or accusation,
the seed which has been sown, will
grow, and mature.
As I said it is no use printing this
out, and just blurting it out.
As in all things you have to believe
that you are actually
preventing these words from being
sown into your being,
and if perchance they have been
sown, you are rooting them out.
Like everything else, in Christian
warfare, and this is what this is,
if you do not actually believe in
what you are doing, it is pointless.
Also remember that even when the
Eternal God corrects us,
it is neither negative or
accusative.
The principle of rooting out
undesirable words,
is the very same one that Satan uses
against us,
so all that we are doing is turning
the tables on him.
He tries to snatch away the Word of
the Eternal God from us.
In a similar manner, we will uproot
that which he tries to sow in us.
All the types mentioned in the
parable of the sower,
are pertinent to us today.
Satan has a whole system set up to
ensnare us
Matthew 13:3 And he
spake many things unto them in parables, saying,
Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
Matthew 13:4 And when he sowed,
some seeds fell by the way side,
and the fowls came and devoured them
up:
Matthew 13:5 Some fell upon
stony places, where they had not much earth:
and forthwith they sprung up,
because they had no deepness of earth:
Matthew 13:6 And when the sun
was up, they were scorched;
and because they had no root, they
withered away.
Matthew 13:7 And some fell
among thorns; and the thorns sprung up,
and choked them:
Matthew 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought
forth fruit,
some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold,
some thirtyfold.
Matthew 13:18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
Matthew 13:19 When any one
heareth the word of the kingdom,
and understandeth it not, then
cometh the wicked one,
and catcheth away that which was sown
in his heart.
This is he which received seed by
the way side.
Matthew 13:20 But he that received the seed into
stony places,
the same is he that heareth the
word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
Matthew 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth
for a while:
for when tribulation or persecution
ariseth because of the word,
by and by he is offended.
Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns
is he
that heareth the word; and the care
of this world, and the deceitfulness
of riches, choke the word, and he
becometh unfruitful.
Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good
ground
is he that heareth the word, and
understandeth it; which also beareth fruit,
and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold,
some sixty, some thirty.
A Personal extreme application.
On a transatlantic flight from the
West Indies to the U.K.,
shortly after take off, the pilot
welcomed us as normal,
and told us that we can expect
severe turbulence around
one hour before we arrived in the
U.K.
We must relax, enjoy the meal and
have a sleep, if we wished.
How does one relax knowing what is
up ahead ?
Here we were, trapped in an aircraft
at 30,000 ft,
with around some 8 hours to relax or
worry as we chose to do,
and with nowhere to go to escape.
I assure you that this qualified as
an exceedingly negative situation.
My immediate reaction to this was to
pray against the expected
traumatic situation, which was
several hours away,
and for mercy on all the innocent
passengers,
who had no real idea what was going
on.
On more than one occasion Satan has
tried to destroy aircraft
on which I was travelling.
Having prayed about the situation, I
continued to relax and read,
as I normally do.Breakfast seemed to
be served a bit early,
as the crew wanted the aircraft
neat an tidy before we hit the turbulence.
I could sense the nervousness of
the young crew,
as they went about their business,
securing everything.
I just sat back and waited for the turbulence,
which simply did not occur.
I had refused to accept that it was
inevitable, and had prayed against it,
early in the flight as I stated
above.
I must add a final proviso, which is this.
It is imperative that we are in a very good place in our relationship
with Christ, so that we are absolutely confident that He will regard
our requests.
Right now I am in contact with
several people,
who believe that now that we are
under ‘Grace’,
they therefore reason that we can
do whatever we like, and all be well.
I do not subscribe to this in the
slightest.
The amazing thing is that not a
single one of these people is in a good place.
Without exception, they are all in
a very bad, and even fearful place.
I will do my utmost to ensure that
I never ever go there.
When your life is in the balance,
you need to be absolutely certain,
that you are standing on Holy and
very solid ground.
My life depends on me being in a
position to act immediately in the right
manner when the circumstances
demand it.
This is in the reach of all
believers, without any middle man,
as we state below and in all our
documents and videos.
What are you going to do about it before it is too
late?
