The King Of The North Is Not The Northern Army by Peter James
In the Original
Northern Army/Video, I was careful not to mention
the King of the
North.
I would like to make
it abundantly clear that I do not believe
that the King of the North is related in any
way to the Northern Army,
which is the subject of the book of Joel.
Neither is it related to the armies of the
North in the book of Jeremiah.
In fact I see these two forces, the
Northern army and the King of the North,
as opponents, who end up fighting each
other.
I
believe that the King of the North will be the king of the resurrected
Roman
Empire.
I
also believe that the King of the North, to whom the prophet Daniel refers,
and
the anti-Christ, and the beast of the book of Revelation,
are
one and the same person.
When classifying the ‘North’ and ‘South’, we should bear in mind that
these
directions are viewed from
their position in relation to the nation called Israel,
in the Middle East. In fact
all nations mentioned from how they relate
to Biblical Israel.
It is worth pointing out that it is in the interest of the nation called
Israel,
to focus on the fact that the
Northern Army will be destroyed.
However, the really important,
and very worrying reality is that before
the Northern Army is destroyed,
it will be used to destroy and to defeat
Biblical Judah and Israel. It
will then send those not killed into captivity,
to nations across the whole
earth.
This is what the Eternal God tells the prophet Joel to tell us.
Joel 3:3 And they (The Northern Army) have cast lots for my people;
and have given a boy for an
harlot, and sold a girl for wine,
that they might drink.
Joel
3:6 The children also of Judah, and the children of Jerusalem
have ye sold unto the Grecians,
that ye might remove them far from their border.
We are also told that the tribes of Biblical Israel have been scattered
amongst all the nations of the
earth.
When the whole house of Israel is being
referred to as in this case,
‘my heritage Israel’, this
includes not only the tribes of Israel,
but also the tribes of Judah,
which is the whole house of Biblical Israel.
Note that after the Northern Army
has been destroyed,
the nations and their armies are
told to gather near to Jerusalem.
Joel 3:2 I will also gather all
nations, and will bring them down
into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will
plead with them there
for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered
among
the nations,
and parted my land.
We are told that after their success over the nations of biblical Israel,
the Northern Army will be
destroyed,
and driven into a barren and
desolate wilderness.
Joel
2:20 But I will remove far off from you the
northern army,
and will drive him into a land barren and
desolate,
with his face toward the east sea, and his
hinder part toward
the
utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall
come
up, because he hath done great things.
It is after this destruction that the Gentiles, the
heathen are told
to prepare for war, and to come down to Armageddon to receive
their punishment.
Joel 3:9 ¶ Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war,
wake
up the mighty men, let all the men of war
draw near;
let them come up:
Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks
into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Joel 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye
heathen,
and
gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones
to come down, O LORD.
Joel 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley
of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
Joel 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is
ripe:
come,
get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow;
for
their wickedness is great.
Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision:
for the day of the LORD is near
in the valley of decision.
The Northern army did conquer the nation now called ‘Israel’,
on their own strength.
This was allowed by the
Eternal God, because of their rebellion against Him.
The whole of the nation called
‘Israel’ including Jerusalem
will be occupied by the
Northern army.
Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the
name of the LORD shall be
delivered:
for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be
deliverance,
as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant
whom the LORD shall call.
“Bring again”, as already explained in ‘The Northern Army’ is an idiomatic
expression meaning “restoring
the fortunes of”.
In this instance it means
reversing the defeat, destruction and
captivity,
and restoring Biblical Israel
to their God given inheritance,
which they have been wrongly trying
to obtain by force of arms,
and great wickedness.
Joel 3:1 ¶ For, behold, in those days, and in that time,
when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and
Jerusalem,. . .
Because Christ brings Judah back to Jerusalem from their captivity,
they will be able to fight
with Him, in the final battle at Armageddon.
Christ and His warrior bride
army and Judah, will fight against the
king
of the North and his armies,
plus the armies of the nations of the world.
Zechariah 14:14
And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem;
and the wealth of all the heathen
round about shall be gathered together,
gold, and silver, and apparel, in great
abundance.
The occupation of Israel and Jerusalem by the Northern Army
is a great problem to the
revived Roman Empire.
We could almost say that it
almost automatically amounts to a declaration
of war, that the Northern Army
has occupied the nation called ‘Israel’.
The reason is that the goal of
the Pope, and indeed the anti-Christ
is to set up their
headquarters in Jerusalem.
The Vatican has long ago made
moves to accomplish this.
However, as Satan dwells
directly in the anti-Christ all other challenges
to rule the world from
Jerusalem will be squashed.
Satan’s objective has always to become the
‘Most High’.
He is so twisted and bent out
of shape that he fails to see that it is
utterly impossible. He needs
to remember that he is only a created being.
Ignore all the deceivers who
say that Lucifer and Satan are not the same.
Lucifer was transformed into
Satan, by his rebellion.
Isaiah 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning! how
art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!
Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine
heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
I will sit also upon
the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds;
I will be like the most High.
Satan will not tolerate any one stealing what he
regards as his worship.
Therefore the anti-Christ, the king of the North has
no choice but to drive
out the Northern Army from Jerusalem and the nation
called Israel,
so that he can set up his throne in Jerusalem.
The King of the North, and the
ten nations of the revived Roman Empire,
which he controls will be used
to see off the Northern Army.
It is the King of the North, who is the
anti-Christ plus the False Prophet,
who will be ruling the world.
There will be no New World Order by the Illuminatti,
under any name whatsoever,
nor a revived British Empire,
which is being called the New World Order.
Of course it is true that they
are trying to call the shots right now,
but just as they have failed
up to now, in spite of their best efforts,
they will continue to fail.
We just about the time that
Jacob’s trouble will escalate into full warfare.
Jacob is the name of Biblical
Israel, before the Eternal God changed
his name.
It is the anti-Christ, who will set up his
throne in Jerusalem, and act as ‘God’.
It is the armies of anti-Christ that will
eventually destroy Babylon,
when their cosy relationship falls apart.
Revelation 17:5
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
Revelation 17:15
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest,
where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations,
and tongues.
Revelation 17:16
And the ten horns which thou sawest
upon the beast,
these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked,
and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings,
which
have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings
one
hour with the beast.
Revelation 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power
and strength unto the
beast. (the anti-Christ)
This is where all the planners, and the false
prophets, who claim
to know the future, fail.
Universally they refuse to include the Eternal God
in what they are saying,
though they claim to be His servants.
Here we are told that an uneasy alliance between
Babylon and the
anti-Christ falls apart, because the Eternal God has
put it into the hearts
of the united ten nations to destroy Babylon,
which is the world ruling Vatican.
Revelation 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will,
and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast,
until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest
is that great city,
which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
We should note that these same ten nations are going
to be amongst all
the armies of the world who arrive at Armageddon to
fight against Christ.
Revelation 17:14 ¶
These shall make war with the Lamb,
and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords,
and King of kings:
and they that are with him are called,
and chosen, and
faithful.
Daniel 11:40
. . . . at the time of the end . . . . the king of the north shall
come against him like
(the King of the South) a whirlwind, with chariots,
and with horsemen,
and with many ships; and he shall enter into the
countries, and shall
overflow and pass over.
Daniel 11:41
He shall enter also into the
glorious land,
and many countries
shall be overthrown. . .
Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between
the seas in the glorious holy
mountain;
We are then told that the anti-Christ, the king of
the North,
who is the top Satan empowered man on the whole
earth,
is destroyed, and no one can help him.
Daniel 11:45 . . . . yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
The reason no one can help him, is because he, and
his entire kingdom,
will be destroyed by the returning Christ.
We should get it into our heads that when you are
against the Eternal God,
you are well and truly finished, period.
Daniel 2:34
Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out
without hands,
which smote the image
upon his feet that were of iron and clay,
and brake them to
pieces.
The
anti-Christ, who is also referred to as the Beast, and the king
of the North, with the False Prophet, will be cast
into the lake burning
with fire and brimstone, when they come to
Armageddon to fight against
the returning Christ.
Not only were the armies of the resurrected Roman
empire gathered
at the valley of Megiddo, which is Armageddon,
but also the armies of the rest of the world which
still are in existence,
are also gathered there.
Revelation 19:19
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth,
and their armies, gathered together to make war
against him that
sat on the horse, and
against his army.
The beast and the false prophet receive their reward
for all
their wicked activity. They are cast into the lake
of fire and brimstone,
the ultimate second death.
Revelation 19:20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false
prophet that wrought miracles before him,
with which he deceived them
that had received the
mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone.
The armies which had accompanied them were also
horribly destroyed.
Revelation 19:21
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him
that sat upon the
horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth:
and all the fowls
were filled with their flesh.
This is going to be a horrific death.
How crazy is man to
fight against the Eternal God ?
The sad reality is
that most are doing this all the time,
whilst claiming to be
‘Christians’.
Zechariah 14:3
Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those
nations, as when he
fought in the day of battle.
Besides their flesh, eyes and tongues being
destroyed,
they will self-destruct, by killing each other.
Zechariah 14:12
And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will
smite all the people
that have fought against Jerusalem;
Their flesh shall
consume away while they stand
upon their feet, and
their eyes shall
consume away in their holes, and
their tongue shall
consume away in their mouth.
Zechariah 14:13
And it shall come to pass in that day,
that a great tumult
from the LORD shall be among them; and
they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and
his hand shall rise up
against the hand of his neighbour.
The object lesson for the Northern Army, the King of the North,
the nations of Israel, Judah
and ALL the other
nations of the world,
is that we will all
learn the simple fact that there is a God in heaven,
and sooner or later we will ALL do what He says, and stop playing
the silly, and even
destructive games, in which we seem to delight
in playing.
The Eternal God will make sure that this
message is learnt by one and all.
In the book of Ezekiel you will find this phrase:
“and
they shall know that I am the LORD”
repeated dozens of times.
In fact the phrase is found there more than
in all of the other
books combined.
So if we learn nothing else from this book,
maybe we would be wise to learn this lesson,
right now, whilst there is still
a
little time. If we do not take this easy way,
then be assured that the tribulation awaits.
One
way or another we will learn this lesson.
Here is a single verse of the many, which
says,
and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 28:23
For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets;
and the wounded shall
be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her
on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
To Summarise:
The Northern Army defeats Biblical Judah and Israel,
some are taken to the
countries of the Northern Army.
Others are sent to all parts
of the world as captives.
The King of the North defeats
and destroys the Northern Army.
The King of the North, the anti-Christ and his ten
nations, with their kings,
take over the land called of Israel.
He sets up his throne there, blasphemously
pretending to be God.
These nations plus others gather at Armageddon to
attack the returning Christ.
They are utterly destroyed.
