The Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word Of The Eternal God.
The Only Bible we Recommend Is
The King James / A.V. Bible.
Here’s
the reason, shocking but enlightening truth: The
Bible Is Used To Deceive
We should all be sighing
and crying about the sad state of our world.
Leviticus
26:17
And I will set my
face against you, and ye
shall be slain before your enemies:
they that hate you shall reign over
you; and ye shall
flee when none pursueth you.
Ezekiel 20:26 ……
that I might make them desolate, to the
end that they might know that I am
the LORD.
A Message From
Peter James
Many Weak, Sickly And Sleep
I will do a separate document about physical things ,that
we can do to be as healthy as possible,
in these last days. This
information is to assist those interested believers in addressing
situations, which they might be
facing.
The number of sick people that I know is in the dozens.
1
Corinthians 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh
unworthily,
eateth and drinketh damnation to
himself, not discerning
the Lord’s body.
1 Corinthians 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many
sleep.
These very important verses
contain five words
which give us one of the reasons that there
is so much sickness and death,
even in what many claim to be:
‘The
True Church’,
‘The
Body Of Christ’
‘Christianity’.
It is all a matter of cause and effect.
Every action has consequences.
The five words, are “not discerning the Lord’s
body”.
What exactly do they mean?
I know many people who are
sick, some very sick, some are believers, and others are not.
Some even die.
In both cases the situation for
most is the same, ‘they do not discern the Lord’s body’.
The ultimate result of
rebellion is death.
The ultimate result of
sickness is death.
The ultimate result of
sin is death.
It therefore follows that rebellion, sickness, and sin
are closely related,
and they all have the same result, which is death.
Often believers do not realize that
the New Testament including the book of Revelation,
is written to believers.
If this simple point were
understood, it most likely would shake many out of their slumber.
The apostle Paul states several
reasons for the condition of believers.
There are two acts which have
several serious consequences.
The first point says that some partake of
the Passover in an unworthy manner.
The first consequence of unworthiness results in
damnation.
I always find it amusing to
attend a church service, and see the people sitting with their most
serious sanctimonious expressions
on their faces.
I am not saying that every one
should be laughing and joking,
but it tends to be a false type
of ‘religiosity’.
Unworthiness has absolutely
nothing to do with our service face.
I have been to church services,
which included the ‘Lord’s Supper’,
which in itself is just
completely different to what we are told to do.
This
is what happened at one of these services.
Of
course this was, and I am not suggesting that this happens at all meetings.
Christ
only died once, and there was no bloodless sacrifice,
as
in the Mass, which can be held many times a day.
The Passover Service is an annual event.
Many
children were happily playing at the front of the small meeting.
Then
bread, and I am almost sure (if I remember correctly there were cakes),
and
soft drinks were served.
The
children would have no idea about what
they are doing.
This was just the snack break from their playing.
They
certainly would not see, nor appreciate the seriousness of what was taking
place.
What
was done, was fine as regards refreshment,
but
it certainly had nothing to do with the Passover that we are commanded to
observe.
There
are so many problems with this.
The
Lord Jesus Christ used unleavened bread, as it was at the time of the Passover,
and wine.
He
also told us to follow His example, which the above clearly does not do.
Most
use leavened bread for these services.
(That
is ordinary bread, made with a raising agent, such as yeast).
The
problem here is that leaven represents sin, which makes this an abomination.
Some
have wanted to know whether the bread or biscuit I use is ‘Kosher’?
We
should endeavour to use only things declared as clean by the Eternal God.
We
most certainly do not have to get some Jewish Rabbi,
to
declare the bread that we are using is acceptable.
This
shows a serious error in our thinking, when we give more credence to have a
Rabbi,
declare
bread clean, when at the same time, they actually reject Christ.
How
crazy is that?
If
in doubt just mix some flour and water, kneed it into dough, bake it,
and
that is the end of the matter.
The
Roman Catholic church, with its vast worldwide membership, does use unleavened
wafers,
but
not only is the entire Mass, is an abomination, see The
Abomination Of The Mass
The
wafer is inscribed with a symbol.
This
is paganism, and sun worship.
They are degrading the sacrifice of Christ, with the
bloodless sacrifice of the Mass.
Much
worse, is the fact that they say that the bread and wine are literally changed
into
the body and blood of Christ.
Therefore
everyone participating in this activity therefore becomes a cannibal.
It is an abomination,
period.
It is a gross error to somehow conclude that the bread and
wine are the body and blood of Christ.
When you clearly see with your eyes, that the wafer remains
a wafer and the wine remains wine.
It is a nonsense to claim that this change is a mystery.
It is not without reason that Babylon is referred to as a
mystery religion,
but also a HARLOT,
MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS.
Revelation 17:5
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE
GREAT,
THE
MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Many
non-Catholics then believe that they have nothing to do with the Roman Catholic
Church,
which
actually controls them, almost without exception.
Some of these Pentecostal type churches,
also
believe that they are eating ‘Christ’, therefore they greedily try to eat
more,
and more of Christ.
This
also is an abomination, that certainly has no reverence to the Passover,
whatsoever.
They
do not consider that there is no difference, between what they are doing,
and
what the Roman Catholics are doing.
Christ only ordained the
Passover once.
He did not tell us to do
this, when we feel like it.
1 Corinthians 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily,
eateth and drinketh damnation to
himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
1 Corinthians 11:30 For this
cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
The second point says that some are not discerning the
Lord’s body.
This results in several critical
consequences.
Each escalates in severity, and
progresses until finally, death results.
The first consequence is weakness.
The second consequence is sickness.
The third consequence is death, which is referred to as sleep.
These verses are very important in aiding our understanding
of what is wrong,
with the health of many
‘believers’.
I know many people who are believers,
but their health does nothing to give honour,
and glory to the Eternal God.
I
will go even further.
If
we are not giving pleasure to the Eternal God,
then
what is the point of our existence?
The answer is none.
Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:
for thou hast created all
things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Maybe we should all stop, and re-evaluate our lives,
and ask exactly what are we
doing and why?
Here is another very sobering fact.
If we are not giving the Eternal pleasure, then we can be completely
assured that we are also
getting little or no pleasure out of life either,
as we work ourselves into the ground, from which we were taken,
and to which we will most assuredly
will return.
If we are not listening
to, obeying, praising and thanking God in sincere gratitude,
in
reality our lives are simply vanity, and utterly pointless.
If we then have
children, who are not taught the truth, then they just perpetuate
the
pointless life, which we ourselves have led.
We should spend quality time, and
meditate on these things,
because whether we do or not, we
are all running out of time and life.
Because the church was
unclear about identifying the body of Christ, for the next two chapters,
in Corinthians, the apostle
Paul, then gives all the details, of which every believer should be aware.
He gives details of the
structure of the church, and the conduct required of every true believer.
We can easily read over ‘not discerning
the Lord’s body’, to
our peril.
In order to
discern the Lord’s body, requires the Holy Spirit.
We have to be careful that we have not
extinguished the Holy Spirit,
or just have a tiny flicker left.
If necessary seek the Eternal with
Prayer and fasting.
I know of people who have given
themselves or have been given the office of Apostle and prophet.
Some of these people are in open
rebellion against the Most High God.
Their position is clear for anyone to see.
Many create organizations, some of them very
large, and the originators,
set themselves up as tele-evangelists, or
they are appointed by some other ‘authority’,
who is also in rebellion.
We have seen that not discerning the Lord’s body has the most serious
consequences.
In many church organizations you will find at least two
tiers, the overlords, and the sheeple.
The
general rule is that often, the sheeple have no idea about what is really
taking place.
These
often sincere people, are then controlled, manipulated, lied to, and fleeced,
whilst
their shepherds live very well, whilst their deceived flocks smell absolute
hell.
See: Control & Manipulation Control
And Manipulation Is Idolatry
Ezekiel 34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy,
and
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds;
Woe be
to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves!
should
not the shepherds feed the flocks?
Ezekiel 34:3
Ye eat the fat, and
ye clothe you with the wool,
ye kill
them that are fed: but (Note
carefully the word ‘kill’)
ye feed not the flock.
Ezekiel 34:4
The diseased have ye not strengthened, (Note carefully how disease is not dealt with)
neither have ye healed that which was sick, (Note
carefully how sickness is not dealt
with)
neither have ye bound up that which was broken, (Note carefully how brokenness
is not dealt with)
neither have ye brought again that which was driven away,
neither have ye sought that which was lost; but
with force and
with cruelty have ye ruled them.
If the flocks, of these false shepherds,
had discerned the body of Christ,
(See: False Shepherds )
they would not be in the above situation
would they?
They would have looked at the fruit, and
realised that the temporary little emotional high,
that they had experienced was not of the
Eternal God.
The reality is that they did not
discern the body of Christ.
They would have realised that rather than being a
part of the Body of Christ,
they were in fact in Babylon.
Instead of
being on the path of life, they were on the path of death.
We
need to be very clear in our minds, that we are either on the path of life or
the path of death.
There
is no middle road.
When
you are on the path of death, you never stagnate and stand still.
If
you observe a branch on a tree or say a rose bush, if it has started to die
from the tip down,
you
will never see the life below that part that is dying overtake the dead part of
the branch.
Sometimes
even if the dead part is cut off, at the right point, the power of death will
overcome the power of life,
in
the rest of the plant. In the end the whole plant will die.
It
follows then if you are on the path of life, you are growing, and even bearing
fruit.
If
you are on the path of death, you are dying.
Many travel even thousands of miles at great expense,
seeking and praying for healing,
with little success.
I can categorically say that
praying for healing or resolution of problems,
is not the solution to
rebellion.
It
will surprise some to note that I have actually refused to pray for others,
under
certain circumstances.
If
someone is doing something that is injurious to their health, and it is made
clear to me,
my
first question would be, what are you going to do about the destructive habit
?
If
the person has no intention whatsoever of changing their bad habit,
then
there is absolutely nothing that I, or anyone else can do, there are no magic
word solutions.
The very first step is humility, and repentance.
There is yet another important aspect to this.
Because of their past experiences,
there are some that do come into touch with the
genuine Body of Christ,
and unfortunately they do not discern the Body, and
they filter everything through their past
unpleasant experiences.
For one reason or another, they prefer to keep one
foot in the false religious system of Babylon,
they are swayed by peoples charisma and titles.
I know of many people who are suffering seriously in
this way, right now.
The end result is that,
They
are
weak.
They are sick.
They die.
You can see
that the matter of discerning the body of Christ is not a small matter at all.
Many come across the Body of Christ ,and continue
searching, and learning, but never coming
to a knowledge
of the truth.
Many people, including believers are trapped into
forever searching for truth on the Internet.
There is truth there alright, but in most cases,
there is a subtle mix of error, which entraps them.
The end result is that they do not discern the
‘Lord’s body’, and they continue their lives,
in just the same way as it has always done.
They do not realize that just like the tell-a-vision,
the internet is a prime tool of Satan,
So most times they end up even more confused than
before.
Carefully consider all the verses before reading verse 7
These verses are speaking about
our time right now.
We have many who have a form of
godliness, but who deny the power of the Eternal God.
We are clearly told to turn away from such people,
whether they are pastors, or lay people.
1 Timothy 3:1 ¶ This know
also, that in
the last days perilous
times shall come.
1 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,
proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents,
unthankful, unholy,
1
Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce,
despisers of those that are good,
1 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God;
1 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
1
Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which
creep into houses,
and lead captive silly
women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
1
Timothy 3:7 Ever
learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Christ said that His
sheep would know His voice.
John
20:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 20:28 And I give unto them
eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out
of my hand.
This means that when Christ’s genuine
sheep hear His voice, they discern it for what it is,
and they follow Christ, as they are led.
It is also very
important to do what we are told.
We have had
several warnings that the Eternal is not happy with us,
because we are not
listening to what He is using others to tell us.
I have some very interesting situations that
illustrate the importance of discerning the Lord’s body.
There are some people, whom it appears that Christ is
not calling, at this precise moment,
however, they discern the Lord’s body, and they are
blessed for so doing.
Quite impossible positions work out for them.
They honour the understanding, which they have.
They have a great respect for those whom the Eternal
God is using, and they are blessed for doing so.
Then there others who know better and should be doing
better, who are simply confused.
This lady and her husband recognised
Elisha for what he was, a servant of the Most High God.
Though he had not asked her for anything,
they offered him and his servant, unconditional hospitality.
2 Kings 4:8 ¶ And it fell on a day, that
Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman;
and she
constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he
passed by,
he turned
in thither to eat bread.
2 Kings 4:9 And she said
unto her husband, Behold now,
I
perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us
continually.
2 Kings 4:10 Let us make a
little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall;
and
let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick:
and
it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.
2 Kings 4:11 And it fell
on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber,
and
lay there.
This is how Elisha regarded the
hospitality they received.
He was quite prepared to speak even to
the king on her behalf.
2 Kings 4:13 And he said unto him, Say now unto
her,
Behold,
thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for
thee?
wouldest
thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host?
And
she answered, I dwell among mine own people.
His servant then told him, that her
husband was old, and that she did not have any children.
2 Kings 4:16 And he said, About
this season, according to the time of life,
thou
shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God,
do
not lie unto thine handmaid.
2 Kings 4:17 And the woman
conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha
had
said unto her, according to the time of life.
It is clear that Elisha enjoyed
hospitality for several years.
Then the
child died.
2 Kings 4:18 ¶ And when the
child was grown, it fell on a day,
that
he went out to his father to the reapers.
2 Kings 4:19 And he said unto his
father, My head, my head.
And
he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.
2 Kings 4:20 And when he had taken him, and
brought him to his mother,
he sat
on her knees till noon, and then died.
Consider carefully what the woman did.
She took the dead child, and laid him on
the bed of the man of God.
Oh that we might have the discernment
that she had.
2 Kings 4:21 And she went
up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God,
and
shut the door upon him, and went out.
She then went in great haste to the one
she knew was a man of God.
She did not go to the nearest minister,
or church group.
2 Kings 4:22 And she called
unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee,
one
of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and
come again.
2 Kings 4:23 And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go
to him to day?
it
is neither new
moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.
This was a crisis and she acted as such,
with utmost speed.
We fuss, argue and often just do our own
thing.
2 Kings 4:24 Then she saddled an
ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward;
slack
not thy riding for me, except I bid thee.
Notice that the man of God, saw her
racing towards him, whilst she was yet afar off.
She was totally focussed to get to her
objective.
Elisha told his servant to run to her,
and ask if all is well.
The Eternal God does the very same thing.
Often we just turn away, and go speedily,
in the opposite direction,
and we try our own solutions, which will
inevitably fail.
We have already passed the point of no
return.
Christ is the only solution, there is
simply no other way.
You had better believe it.
2 Kings 4:25 So she went and came
unto the man of God to mount Carmel.
And
it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off,
that
he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite:
2 Kings 4:26 Run now, I pray
thee, to meet her, and say unto her,
Is
it well with thee?
is
it well with thy
husband?
is
it well with the
child? And she answered, It is well.
2 Kings 4:27 And when she came to
the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet:
but Gehazi
came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said,
Let
her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it
from me,
and
hath not told me.
2 Kings 4:28 Then she
said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say,
Do
not deceive me?
Elisha then sends his servant with his
staff. and with great urgency to the child,
with instructions of what he should do.
2 Kings 4:29 Then he said
to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand,
and go
thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee,
answer
him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.
The diligence and perseverance of this
dear woman is wondrous to behold.
She refused to leave Elisha’s side, and he
promptly followed his servant Gehazi to the woman’s home,
where the child lay dead.
2 Kings 4:30 And the
mother of the child said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul
liveth,
I
will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.
Gehazi did as he had been instructed, but
the child remained dead.
2 Kings 4:31 And Gehazi
passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child;
but there
was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him,
and told
him, saying, The child is not awaked.
The Eternal wanted Elisha to act directly
in this particular situation.
Elisha then was granted by the Eternal
God to bring the child back to life.
Can you see the importance of discerning
where the Lord is truly working.
It is exactly the same for us today.
We need to hold in high esteem those with
whom the Eternal God is working.
We need to discern the body of Christ.
2 Kings 4:32 And when
Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead,
and laid upon his bed.
2 Kings 4:33 He went in
therefore, and shut the door upon them twain,
and
prayed unto the LORD.
2 Kings 4:34 And he went
up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth,
and
his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands:
and
he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.
2 Kings 4:35 Then he
returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up,
and
stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times,
and
the child opened his eyes.
Elisha gave the woman back her son alive
and well.
2 Kings 4:36 And he called
Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite.
So
he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.
Look at the wonderful attitude of the
woman.
Oh that we were like that today.
2 Kings 4:37 Then she went
in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground,
and
took up her son, and went out.
The fact is that Elisha as well as all the Old
Testament prophets, were part of the body
of Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Those who honoured them were blessed.
It is as simple as that.
The matter of discerning the body is so very
important that the apostle Paul spends
the whole of 1 Corinthians Chapter
12, defining for us the Body of Christ.
Many churches use this chapter to lord it
over the sheeple in their churches.
It therefore follows that many are dubious
about anyone, whom the Eternal God is using,
whether they are true or false servants of
the Lord.
The fact however, remains that there are definite
offices in the body of Christ,
even though at this time, the body is scattered, and
not in any one place.
The apostle Paul explains that that there are
different spiritual gifts,
just as there are different positions of service.
1 Corinthians 12:1 ¶ Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have
you ignorant. . . .
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12:6 And there
are diversities of operations, but it is the same God
which
worketh all in all.
We are then told the purpose of the gifts, and
it is certainly not of gaining pre-eminence
over others.
The specific purpose is to benefit the whole body
1
Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every
man to profit withal.
The apostle Paul then lists many of the gifts in 1
Corinthians 12: 1 – 11.
1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
to
another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1 Corinthians 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit;
to
another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
1 Corinthians 12:10 To another
the working of miracles; to another prophecy;
to
another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues;
Note babbling in some incoherent gobble de
gook, is not from the Eternal God, but rather
of our adversary. The fact is that many prefer
to be involved in this activity rather than
actually doing what they have been commanded,
in plain and simple English,
or any other genuine language. see: Speaking In Tongues
The truth is that often we willingly choose to
live in denial rather than to obey.
to
another the interpretation of tongues:
1 Corinthians 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit,
dividing
to every man severally as he will.
The apostle Paul then
moves on to explain the many parts and offices of the body of Christ.
He has to do this so that we
who have been called out of Babylon, can realise that there is
a structure to the body of
Christ, and it is not a haphazard
indiscernible chaotic entity.
He also shows that every part
of the body is important.
1 Corinthians 12:12 ¶ For as the body is one, and hath many members,
and all
the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is
Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one
Spirit are we all baptized into one body,
whether we
be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free;
and have
been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.
1 Corinthians 12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the
body;
is
it therefore not of the body?
1 Corinthians 12:16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of
the body;
is it therefore not of the body?
1 Corinthians 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the
hearing?
If the
whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
We should all
be satisfied with whatever function we might be given,
because what we have been
called to do has been carefully decided before the foundation
of the world.
We have been designed with that
purpose in mind.
Of course we often feel that we know better than our
Creator.
It is the height
of folly to want to do what you might see someone else doing,
whilst labouring under the
delusion that it would somehow improve our lifes.
It is totally absurd.
It would be like taking up a hammer to saw a piece of wood.
We should humbly
accept that the Eternal God knows best and be content.
We
should consider that we have made most of the decisions in our lives,
without
worrying too much about what the Eternal God decrees.
It is
also very easy to see that most of what we have decided has ended in dismal
failure,
therefore it follows that we must be doing
something very wrong.
As we have led a life of making a whole series
of erroneous decisions,
which have brought us to the position in which
we now find ourselves,
we should realise that we can do the very same
thing when it comes to our Christian life,
and our calling.
It is cast iron guaranteed that our adversary
has carefully prepared the pitfalls
to side track us, so that we are not only sent
down countless blind alleys,
but we once again revert to doing our own thing.
We then reap needless weakness, sickness and even
death.
1 Corinthians 12:18 But now hath God set the
members every one of them in the body,
as it hath pleased him.
The importance of all the body’s parts is
carefully spelt out for us.
1 Corinthians 12:19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
1 Corinthians 12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
1 Corinthians 12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee:
nor again
the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1 Corinthians 12:22 Nay, much more those members of the body,
which
seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
1 Corinthians 12:23 And those members
of the body,
which we
think to be less honourable,
upon
these we bestow more abundant honour;
and our
uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
1 Corinthians 12:24 For our
comely parts have no need:
but God
hath tempered the body together,
having given
more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
Once again the purpose of oneness is clearly
stated.
1 Corinthians 12:25 That
there should be no schism in the body;
but that the members should have the same care one for
another.
We are told
that as in the human body, if one part suffers the whole body suffers.
This means that we
cannot be sickly, and casually think that it does not matter to the rest
of the body,
because we are clearly told that it does matter.
Similarly when
we are honoured the whole body should rejoice.
1 Corinthians 12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it;
or
one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
1 Corinthians 12:27 ¶ Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
The offices in the body of Christ are then
defined for us.
This sets us a serious dilemma.
If we cannot even discern the Lord’s body,
how are we going to discern the positions
in the Lord’s body?
1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles,
secondarily
prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings,
helps,
governments, diversities of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all
teachers?
are all workers of miracles?
1 Corinthians 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues?
do
all interpret?
1 Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts:
and
yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Having clearly defined the body of Christ
for us, the apostle Paul then goes on to explain
to us what the conduct of the body of
Christ should be.
We are told that the very things that many
are earnestly desiring,
are not the really important things at all.
1 Corinthians 13:1 ¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have
not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have
the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,
and all
knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains,
and have
not charity, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though
I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
We are now told
the qualities that genuine believers, who are part of the body of Christ
should almost
automatically be part of their make up,
because of the
indwelling Christ, as the Holy Spirit.
Sadly those
called at this time display the very opposite of some of these qualities,
impatience,
unkindness, envy, pride, self-exaltation and ego.
1 Corinthians 13:4 ¶ Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not;
charity
vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1 Corinthians 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is
not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things,
endureth
all things.
1 Corinthians 13:8 ¶ Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies,
they shall fail;
whether there
be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall
vanish away.
We have all been so brain
washed by the various educational systems that are in operation today,
that
we do precisely the opposite of what the
Eternal God has commanded us to do.
We
are then caught up in a carefully devised system of lies, deceit, control and
manipulation,
and
just as if we are hypnotized, and in a dream, we gullibly sleep walk,
in
pain and suffering to our death.
Unfortunately
this is not something that is confined to non-believers.
Sadly,
many believers suffer in this way.
Some
respond to me that they are going through a ‘Job’ trial syndrome.
They
tell me that they have no idea for how long they will be sick.
They
tell me that they hope that their sickness will bring honour to God.
They
then continue in their rebellion, and so their sickness continues.
The
problem for them is that they are not ‘Job’.
I know of many sick, and even very sick
‘believers’.
I know of many, who are not experiencing the
‘Peace’ that they should be experiencing,
regardless of their circumstance.
It would be true to say that they are in
confusion.
I am not judging a single person, but I hope
that this matter of discerning the Lord’s body,
is now a little clearer, and that we will
take the necessary steps to make the required changes,
so that the body of Christ is healthy as it
ought to be.
We must come completely out of Babylon.
There is no other way.
Be Humble Repent Listen To The Eternal God Obey Him.
This is very easy to say, but I assure you that it is
physically an impossibility without
the empowerment of the Eternal God.
Just going up to some altar call, running to some
church, or isolating yourself
in the hope that somehow it will all go away, will not
do it.
What are
you going to do about it before it is too late?
