The Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word Of The Eternal God.
The Bible We
Recommend Is The King James 1611 / A.V. Bible.
Here’s
the reason, shocking but enlightening truth:
Salvation Is a Family Matter by Peter James
Many people who come into contact with me, keep
asking the same question,
which is what about my children and my husband and
other family members,
who are not saved, what is going to happen to them.
In the vast majority of cases they tell me how they
have been trying very hard
for years to get their family saved.
At this point I can interject and tell them that it
is most likely that their
dearly beloved family, and friends have rejected
them, and not only that,
but the more that they persisted in trying to force
their ideas down the throats
of their family and friends, the greater the distance
between them became.
Furthermore annoyance probably matured to disgust and
anger.
The sincere heart’s desire had crumbled to
disillusion and a feeling of failure.
I keep trying to explain that although salvation is a
family matter,
it is the Eternal God who calls and He does it when
He decides and not when
we decide. It will be at the best possible time for
the person.
When one gets more experience and maturity, it is
easily seen that if the
persons were called when their caring family wanted
them called it would
have been a great disaster.
The reality is that many want their loved ones
called, whilst they themselves
are living in the fallen Babylonian churches, and
they do not even know that.
Therefore often they are wanting their loved ones to
be called into something
that could be quite destructive. It is therefore a
mercy that the Eternal God
did not answer their prayers.
It is true that salvation is a family matter, but at
this time the Eternal God,
the Eternal God is not trying to save the world, as
many churches are teaching.
If we are honest we will admit that if the Eternal
God was trying to save the
world, it is not working, as we have now ended up
with almost every single
church on the planet, a harlot daughter of Babylon,
which is none other than
the Roman Catholic Church, and the Vatican. It does
not matter which
religion you mention, either Eastern religions, like
Buddhism, Hindus,
or Western ones like the Baptists, Pentecostals,
Anglicans, etc.
Revelation
17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT, THE
MOTHER OF HARLOTS,
AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE
EARTH.
At this time the Eternal God is only calling out His
bride, that is all.
Although salvation is a family matter, it does not mean
that all the members
of a family are being called now. It is a very rare
thing for more than one
member of a family to be called at this time.
The other members of the family will be called at
their appointed time.
In the meantime we are given very clear guidelines at
what we should do.
However, as usual, we know a better way and therefore
we set about,
isolating ourselves from those whom we love.
What we should be doing is letting our deeds speak
much louder than our
deafening words, which are so loud that they quite
literally obliterate our
lifestyle, which most likely also leaves a lot to be
desired.
The Apostle Paul is not covering every single
situation, that a married
couple could face. For example elsewhere it is
mentioned that adultery
is a legitimate
cause for divorce. I am certain that the very same thing
would apply if one
member of the couple is involved
in witchcraft, or other wicked activities, such as
child abuse,
to mention just two.
1
Corinthians 7:6 But I speak this by permission, and
not of commandment.
1
Corinthians 7:7 For I would that all men were even
as I myself.
But every
man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner,
and
another after that.
1
Corinthians 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried
and widows,
It is
good for them if they abide even as I.
1
Corinthians 7:9 But if they cannot contain, let
them marry:
for it is
better to marry than to burn.
1
Corinthians 7:10 ¶ And unto the married I command,
yet not I, but the Lord,
Let not
the wife depart from her husband:
1
Corinthians 7:11 But and if she depart, let her
remain unmarried,
or be
reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his
wife.
The apostle Paul
clearly tells us that if the unbelieving partner is pleased to
dwell with the
believing partner they should stay together.
1
Corinthians 7:12 But to the rest speak I, not the
Lord:
If any
brother hath a wife that believeth not,
and she
be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
1
Corinthians 7:13 And the woman which hath an
husband that believeth
not, and
if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
1
Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is
sanctified by the wife,
and the
unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband:
else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
1
Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart,
let him depart.
A brother
or a sister is not under bondage in such cases:
but God
hath called us to peace.
The apostle Paul is clearly
showing us, that we are not the isolated islands,
which many believe that
we are.
1
Corinthians 7:16 For what knowest thou,
O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband?
or how
knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
As with all things we can go to the book of
beginnings to see the institution
of marriage and family.
If the Eternal God said that it was not good for man
to be alone in the
physical realm, why do we erroneously believe that it
would be good
for a sole member of a family to spend eternity
knowing that all the other
members of the family have been destroyed?
I am not saying that this means
that as long as one member of a family
is saved, all the other members of
a family can live any kind of lifestyle
and they will be saved also.
That is simply not true.
Genesis
2:18 And the LORD God said,
It is not good
that the man should be alone;
I will
make him an help meet for him
Genesis
2:21 ¶ And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall
upon Adam,
and he slept:
and he took one of his ribs,
and
closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Genesis
2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken
from man,
made he a
woman, and brought her unto the man.
Genesis
2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my
bones,
and flesh
of my flesh: she shall be called Woman,
because
she was taken out of Man.
Genesis
2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his
father and his mother,
and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
We can see that from the beginning
it was the plan of the Eternal that,
man should live in families, and
have children.
In fact it is in Genesis 1, that we see the family
established,
when He blessed Adam and Eve, and
told them to be fruitful and multiply,
that is have children.
Genesis
1:27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God
created
he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis
1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be
fruitful,
and multiply,
Note that they were not
told to fill the earth, that is plenish,
but rather ‘replenish’,
that is fill again.
This means that the
earth had previously been filled by
some sort of beings
that no longer existed, and He now wanted it populated
by these new beings,
man.
and replenish
the earth, and
subdue it:
and have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over
every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Adam and Eve were commanded to choose life instead of
death.
If they did not eat of the tree of death, and by that
I mean the tree
that they were told would result in death. They would
have lived forever,
instead of just under 1,000 years, and so would their
children.
At some point they would have been changed from
physical
to spiritual beings.
Genesis
2:16 ¶ And the LORD God commanded the man, saying,
Of every
tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Genesis
2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil,
thou
shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt
surely
die.
We know that because they sinned they died and ever
since all have died,
with the exception of Enoch.
Hebrews
11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should
not see death;
and was
not found, because God had translated him:
or before
his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
We know that Adam and Eve were not just bumbling
around in the garden
of Eden, not knowing what to do, regarding all
aspects of life.
They were told absolutely everything that they needed
to know. However,
it is only in later books do we get the details of
what they were told.
You will find many of the details in Leviticus and
Deuteronomy.
Near the end of the book of Deuteronomy, the Eternal
God did just
as He did with Adam and Eve, He commands us to choose
life.
Note that the consequence of choosing life extended
to our children.
We are clearly told to choose life so that not just
ourselves,
but also our children would live.
Deuteronomy
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day
against you,
that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore
choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
This means that instead of
preaching and using all sorts of subterfuge to
subtly save our family members, we should
rather concentrate on living the
sort of life that the Eternal God
has ordained for us. If we do this, then all
will be well with our children. Why
do we not wake up,
and stop trying to do the work of
the Eternal God for Him.
He is far more capable than we are
and in any case we completely
mess up most things that we touch.
We have our part to play with our
children, in spite of the direct hindrance
of the governments.
Proverbs
22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he
is old,
he will not depart from it.
See our Document: The Importance Of
Discipline
The intervening years might be very
rocky, but we are told that in the latter
years, the early years of training
will bear fruit.
We must punish our children,
otherwise we will end up with delinquent adults,
which is precisely what is
happening.
Proverbs
23:13 Withhold not correction from the child:
for if
thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Proverbs
23:14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod,
and shalt
deliver his soul from hell.
See our video: God Calls Whom He Chooses.
In Genesis 6, we are told that the condition of the world.
Genesis
6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was
great in the
earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only
evil
continually.
Genesis
6:6 ¶ And it repented the LORD that he had made man
on the earth,
and it
grieved him at his heart.
Genesis
6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I
have created
from the
face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing,
and the fowls
of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
Genesis
6:8 ¶ But Noah found grace in the eyes
of the LORD.
Noah was not in rebellion as the
rest of the world was,
and indeed as we are today.
This was Noah’s lifestyle.
Genesis
6:22 ¶ Thus did Noah; according to all
that God commanded him,
so did he.
Because Noah was righteous and
obedient, this is what happened to him,
and
his family when the Eternal decided
to wash the earth clean.

The Days Of Noah Revisited -A Rude Awakening
We are told two important things.
The first is that he and his whole family were to go into the
ark,
which he had obediently built.
The second was the reason why they were all being protected.
It was because in the midst of a
wicked generation, the Eternal God had
declared him, righteous.
Genesis
7:11 ¶ And the LORD said unto Noah,
Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen
righteous
before me in this generation.
It is clearly defined for us who
comprised all his ‘house’.
His personal righteousness meant
the salvation of his wife,
his sons and their wives.
Genesis
7:7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife,
and his sons’
wives with
him, into the ark, because of the waters
of the
flood.
Let us consider Lot who lived in
the midst of the depravity of Sodom and
Gomorrah.
Here we see both Noah and Lot, who
were both delivered from the destruction
of the wicked, mentioned at the
same time.
2
Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person,
a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the
ungodly;
2
Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha
into ashes
condemned
them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto
those
that after should live ungodly;
2
Peter 2:7 ¶ And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy
conversation
of the
wicked:
2
Peter 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in
seeing
and
hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with
their unlawful deeds;)
We now see the two angels who had
been sent to destroy Sodom asking
Lot, about his family. This was for
Lot’s benefit and not theirs.
They knew precisely his position.
Genesis
19:12 ¶ And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any
besides?
son in law,
and thy sons,
and thy daughters,
and whatsoever thou hast in the city,
bring them
out of this place:
They had to escape and
escape quickly as the destruction of the cities
in the plain was going
to take place in a matter of hours.
Genesis
19:13 For we will destroy this place, because the
cry of them is
waxen
great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to
destroy
it.
Genesis
19:14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in
law,
which
married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place;
for the LORD
will destroy this city.
Not dissimilar to what
I am doing today, his sons in law mocked him,
to their detriment, as
they were burnt to cinders, which was their choice.
In this particular
situation the destroying angels were not accepting any
nonsense, from Lot’s
immediate family. They got hold of the hands of Lot,
his wife, and his two
daughters. It is not wonder that two angels were sent.
They had their hands
literally full.
But he
seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
Genesis
19:15 ¶ And when the morning arose, then the angels
hastened
Lot,
saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here;
lest thou
be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
Genesis
19:16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon
his hand,
and upon
the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters;
the LORD
being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth,
and set
him without the city.
Having safely brought
them out of the city they were told to escape quickly,
and where they should
go.
Genesis
19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought
them forth
abroad,
that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay
thou in
all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
Although they were
saved from the inferno, Lot’s wife still yearned
for what they had left
behind. She disobeyed and looked back,
and was turned into a
pillar of salt.
Genesis
19:24 ¶ Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon
Gomorrah
brimstone
and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
Genesis
19:25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the
plain,
and all
the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
Genesis
19:26 ¶ But his wife looked back from behind him,
and she
became a pillar of salt.
I can see the very same thing
happening again today,
when believers are going to be
separated from the judgment,
which is shortly going to come upon
the world.
It really would not surprise me.
The reason is that if in a time of
‘peace’ as we now have people cannot be
persuaded to listen to and obey the
Eternal God, why would they do this
in a time of disaster?
The third example of
family salvation is the harlot Rahab.
This shows that any
good deed done to the people of the Eternal God,
does not go unrewarded.
When the king of
Jericho heard that spies had come to check out Jericho,
and that they were at
Rahab’s house he demanded that she turn the men
over to him. Instead
Rahab hid the spies and sent those sent to bring the
men to the king, on a
wild goose chase, whilst the men were hiding
on her roof.
Joshua
2:1 ¶ And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim
two men
to spy
secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went,
and came into
an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
Joshua
2:2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying,
Behold,
there
came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the
country.
Joshua
2:3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab,
saying,
Bring
forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house:
for they
be come to search out all the country.
Joshua
2:4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them,
and said thus,
There
came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:
Joshua
2:5 And it came to pass about the time of
shutting of the gate,
when it
was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not:
pursue
after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.
Joshua
2:6 But she had brought them up to the roof of
the house,
and hid
them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.
Her reward was
salvation of her household and all that they had.
Rahab was on the ball
and she was very specific in her request.
Joshua
2:12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by
the LORD,
since I
have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness
unto my
father’s house, and give me a true token:
Joshua
2:13 And that ye will
save alive my father,
and my mother,
and my brethren,
and my sisters,
and all that they have,
and deliver our lives from death.
Joshua
2:14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours,
if ye
utter not this our business. And it shall be,
when the
LORD hath given us the land,
that we will
deal kindly and truly with thee.
She then gave them the
means to leave her roof safely.
Joshua
2:15 Then she let them down by a cord through the
window:
for her
house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.
She then gave them the
best directions for their survival.
Joshua
2:16 And she said unto them, Get you to the
mountain,
lest the
pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days,
until the
pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.
Joshua
2:17 And the men said unto her, We will be
blameless of this
thine
oath which thou hast made us swear.
The spies then told her
precisely what she had to do.
Joshua
2:18 Behold, when we come into the land,
thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window
which thou didst let us down by:
and thou shalt bring thy father,
and thy mother,
and thy brethren,
and all thy father’s household, home unto thee.
Once again we see
obedience being required for their salvation.
They were to stay in
her house.
If they went outside
and were killed it would be their fault.
Joshua
2:19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall
go out of the doors
of thy
house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head,
and we will
be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house,
his blood
shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
We see the actual
salvation of Rahab and all that she had in:
Joshua
6:21 And they utterly destroyed all that was
in the city, both man
and
woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass,
with the
edge of the sword.
Joshua
6:22 But Joshua had said unto the two men
that had spied out
the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman,
and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.
Joshua
6:23 And the young men that were spies went in,
and
brought out Rahab,
and her father,
and her mother,
and her brethren,
and all that she had;
and they brought out all her kindred,
and left
them without the camp of Israel.
Joshua
6:24 And they burnt the city with fire, and all
that was therein:
only the
silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron,
they put
into the treasury of the house of the LORD.
Joshua
6:25 And Joshua saved
Rahab the
harlot alive,
and her father’s household,
and all that she had;
and she
dwelleth in Israel even unto this day;
because
she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
The fourth example is
Daniel.
We are not told that Daniel had any
family, but he had three close friends,
and he was instrumental in their
salvation.
His three friends were cast into
the fire and came out completely unscathed.
Daniel
3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of
the burning
fiery
furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
ye
servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither.
Then
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
Daniel
3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and
the king’s
counsellors,
being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies t
he fire
had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed,
neither
were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
These four men operated
as a family unit, and trusted and relied on the
Eternal God to the
uttermost. We can see that they were all blessed and they
were not only delivered
from various disasters, but they were promoted, and
became the top rulers
in the land.
Daniel
2:48 Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave
him many
great
gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon,
and chief
of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
Daniel
2:49 Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set
Shadrach,
Meshach, and
Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon:
but
Daniel sat in the gate of the king.
Daniel is rescued from
the lion’s den.
Daniel
6:19 Then the king arose very early in the
morning,
and went
in haste unto the den of lions.
Daniel
6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a
lamentable voice
unto Daniel:
and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel,
servant
of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually,
able to
deliver thee from the lions?
Daniel
6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live
for ever.
Daniel
6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and
hath shut the lions’ mouths,
that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found
in me; and
also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
We have clearly shown that Salvation
is indeed a family matter.
However, there is more to it than
that.
Job was quite an extraordinarily
righteous man.
The Eternal God Himself said so.
Job
1:8 And the LORD
said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant
Job, that there is none like
him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man,
one that feareth God, and escheweth
evil?

There are some verses which, if
casually read, appear to completely
Invalidate all that I have just
stated.
These verses Noah, Daniel and Job,
because they were considered to be
righteous people. They were truly
exceptional men.
In Ezekiel we are told three times that even if these three men were in a
land that was going to be punished
they would only deliver their owns lives.
They would deliver neither sons nor
daughters.
Here are the conditions that the
Eternal God said that He could send against
a land.
1. Famine - so severe that both men and animals are
destroyed..
Ezekiel
14:13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me
by trespassing
grievously,
then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff
of the bread
thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man
and beast
from it:
2. Noisome Beasts
Ezekiel
14:15
If I
cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they
spoil
it, so that it be desolate, that no man
may pass through because of the
beasts:
3. The Sword - War
Ezekiel
14:17: Or if
I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword,
go
through the land; so that I cut off man and
beast from it:
4. Pestilence – Disease
Ezekiel
14:19
Or if
I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury
upon it
in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:
Three of the four judgments were so
severe
that they would destroy man and
animals.
In every single case we are told
the very same thing.
Noah, Daniel and Job would only
deliver themselves, absolutely no one else.
Ezekiel
14:14
Though
these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job,
were in
it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness,
saith the
Lord GOD.
In three out of the four instances
we are specifically told that these three
men would not even be able to their
own children.
In view of these scriptures how can I say that
salvation is a family affair?
Salvation whether physical or
spiritual,
is by grace.
is a blessing.
is a matter of mercy.
is never earned.
is a gift.
Ephesians
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of
yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
The righteousness of a father
cannot save his children,
however, that does not mean that
they are not sanctified.
This was stated at the beginning of
the document.
1
Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is
sanctified by the wife,
and the
unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband:
else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
Now the conduct of our children
will most likely mean that often,
they will have to be severely
punished in order to get their attention,
and to bring them into line.
It is true that they might be
wayward, but whatever it takes will be done.
Our hope lies in the last two
verses of Ezekiel chapter 14,
when all is made plain.
There we are told that when these
four judgments are sent against a land,
that a remnant will remain.
This remnant will be our sons and
daughters, who have had to be punished
in order to get their attention,
and bring them into line.
Ezekiel
14:22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be
brought
forth, both sons and
daughters behold,
they
shall come forth unto you,
When we then see our
sons and daughters, we will also see precisely
what they had done in
order to be punished.
We will then see why
they had to be chastised.
and ye
shall see their way and their doings:
and ye
shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon
Jerusalem,
even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
Our own sons and
daughters will then comfort us, as they acknowledge that
they did truly deserve
to be punished, and at the same time we will
understand that what
was done to them was not simply out of malice, but
rather for the greater
purpose of their salvation. We will then be able to be
truly thankful and
appreciative for the salvation of our children, who would
have most surely have
been lost it firm action had not been taken.
Ezekiel
14:23 And they shall comfort you, when ye see their
ways and their
doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause
all that I have
done in
it, saith the Lord GOD.
You can now see that we
do not have to go and try to convert either the world
or our families. It is
not our business.
It is the prerogative
of our Father in Heaven, the Most High God.
Wisdom decrees that we
should let the Eternal God do what only He can do,
and we should stop
sticking our noses into His business, as we always
only mess up absolutely
everything.
The end result of our
well meaning but wrong activity is the creation of
hostility, anger and
even the destruction of the family,
We should concern
ourselves with what we ought to be doing as was stated
previously.
We must listen to and
obey the Eternal God.
It is this that will
determine what happens to our partners and our children.
We also can see why
Satan is so focused on destroying our families.
