The Holy Bible Is The Immutable  Living Word Of The Eternal God.

The Only Bible we Recommend Is The King James / A.V. Bible.

Here’s the reason, shocking but enlightening truth:  The Bible Is Used To Deceive

We should all be sighing and crying about the sad state of our world.

      crying girlChild And Vulture

      Leviticus 26:17

                                   A Message From Peter James

The Gospel Of John Chapter 14

John 14:1  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In this verse we see Christ putting his disciples at peace telling them not

to be worried, in spite of the coming trauma of his arrest, beating, torture,

 and crucifixion.

He then introduces a topic that keeps recurring throughout the chapter.

This was going to be a gigantic leap in their understanding.

He was explaining to His disciples whom, He was in reality.

He told them that I know you believe in God, but you must also believe in me.

He then goes on to give the detailed explanation that He was God in the flesh,

and why they should also believe in Him, just as much as they believed in ‘God’.

This is just as pertinent today as it was when Christ was instructing His disciples.

John 14:2  In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so,

I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Christ having started this session of tuition by beginning to tell them, whom He was,

He then proceeded to tell them what He was going to do after he had died

and had been resurrected. They would have had no idea about what He was saying.

He told them that in his Father’s house are many mansions.

          What does this mean?

Does it mean that Christ has gone to literally make countless immaculate

and utterly unbelievable palaces in heaven, for all of His followers,

because that is what His Father wanted Him to do?

Most of the world’s religions believe some variation of this,

whether they are Christian or some other heathen religion.

We are told that we are lively stones.

Believers are living human beings, with a human spirit, and the Holy Spirit.

We are neither rocks, nor precious stones of any type whatsoever.

1 Peter 2:5  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house,

an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,

acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,

and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Ephesians 2:20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,

            Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

We can see that whilst we are obsessed with getting physical things,

the Eternal God is most interested in the Spiritual, and permanent things.

Christ was going to prepare offices/positions, for those who were accounted

worthy to be part of the New Jerusalem.

Do we really think that it is going to be our lot to hold up some part of a building?

We see that Christ is the corner stone, and the apostles and prophets,

are the foundation. From this we can see the principle, that it is offices, or positions

          that are being discussed.

There will a place for everyone, because it has been prepared precisely

          for each genuine believer.

John 14:3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,

and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Christ then explained that as He was going to prepare their positions

in the temple of God, that He would return so that they could all take up their offices,

in this Spiritual Temple of the Eternal God.

This puts paid to all those people who are hoping to rush off to heaven.

Christ said ‘I will come again’. Coming again can only mean that He was coming

to some place that He had already come before. He did not say I am going

to rapture you away, or any such thing, so that you can be with me in heaven.

Precisely what is the point of inheriting the earth,

          if heaven is our destination?

The meek certainly have not inherited the earth at this time.

Are You Going To Heaven?   No One Is – FLV !         The Document

          Psalms 37:11  But the meek shall inherit the earth;

and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Matthew 5:5  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

At the ascension of Christ, did the angels not say that Christ

was going to return to the earth just as the disciples saw Him, leave?

Acts 1:11  Which also said, Ye men of Galilee,

why stand ye gazing up into heaven?

this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,

shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

We see that the New Jerusalem will come down from haven to the new Earth.

Revelation 21:1 ¶  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:

            for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;

and there was no more sea.

Revelation 21:2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,

coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned

            for her husband.

Now we need to read the following verse very carefully.

It tells us that Christ is going to come quickly.

It tells us that He is bringing the reward for the faithful with Him.

He does not tell us that this reward will be for what we have done

in the past, as most would believe.

It tells us that the reward for every man, will be according

to the work that he shall have to do.

  Note it is future.

The overcomers will be prepared in this life for the reward,

which will be given to them to fully equip them for their future roles.

            Revelation 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly;

and my reward is with me,

to give every man according as his work shall be.

             ++++

John 14:4  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Christ told them where I am going you know, and you also know the way.

            John 14:5  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest;

and how can we know the way?

The disciples were really confused, and Thomas speaking for all of them

said, we do not know what you are speaking about at all.

We do not know where you are going, and we certainly do not know the way

          to get there.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In one short and profound verse, Christ told them, who He was,

and very importantly that coming to the Father without His involvement was impossible.

The interplay between Christ and the Father is continuous, showing us repeatedly that

          they are indeed one.

This means you that to get to the Father you have to go through

our only mediator Christ, but we are also told that to get to Christ you have

to be drawn by the Father.

John 6:44  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me

draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is a great dilemma for the Jews, who deny Christ,

and the Christians in churchianity, who deny the Father,

as they claim that He is the harsh, even vindictive God of the Old Testament.

In total ignorance they are completely unaware that there is only One God.

Many others go down the ‘Trinity’ route, which is just as wrong.

I now make a little side comment.

Some have asked how could Christ pray to the Father in heaven,

          and yet they are one?

The answer is that they are using their human reason to try to understand

          a spiritual concept.

Does anyone really believe that there was a vacant throne in heaven,

while Christ was on the earth?

The Eternal God claims to be omnipresent, which means that He is everywhere.

That has to suffice as our answer. Here are the supporting scriptures.

As I keep saying we are called first of all to believe.

understanding can come later, much later.

Jeremiah 23:23  Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

Jeremiah 23:24  Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?

saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

This now becomes really difficult for the disciples, probably it is just

as difficult for you. Christ told them that if they knew him,

they would also know the father.

I keep saying there is only one God.

There is No Trinity - Christ The Beginning Of The Creation Of God - Yet Is God

Christ was the garment of human flesh that the Father put on in order

to come to the earth, and to become a ransom for us.

Christ told them told them that they have seen and known the Father,

because they had seen and known Him.

When you look in the mirror, how many people do you see, one, two, or three?

Of course most sane people would see a single person.

If you are a believer, although you see one person, there are three separate

and distinct aspects to what you are seeing.

          1) There is the physical body, which we all have. Of itself it has no life.

          2) There is the spirit in man, which gives life to the physical body, which we all have.

This spirit in man is an exact carbon copy of each of us, including our memories, etc.

If it were possible to stand the physical body next to the human spirit.

You would be quite unable to tell the difference, by looking.

It is only when you went to touch the spirit of the man, you would notice that there

was no physical substance there that you could feel.

          Christ, himself explained this fact.

          See our documents:

The Spirit In Man                                                                            Printer Friendly Copy

The Spirit In Man Part 2                                      Printer Friendly Copy

          Luke 24:39  Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see;

for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

          3) There is the Holy Spirit, which is not a power at all, as some claim, but very God.

In view of the above we can see that when Christ said that when they saw Him,

they had seen the Father, it was literally the case.

John 14:7  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:

and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip still did not get what Christ was saying.

Do you get what I am saying?

In spite of what Christ just said, Philip still said show us the Father,

and that would be sufficient for us.

It was almost as if they were thinking that there is a ‘duality’, if not a ‘trinity’.

John 14;8  Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Christ goes over the whole thing once again.

If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.

See Our Document:  There Is One God

John 14:9  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you,

and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?

            he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;

and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Christ is saying that He, and the Father are one.

He then elaborates, and tells them that the Father who dwelt in Him,

          was speaking through Him.

I have experienced Christ directly speaking through others.

It is not something that you would forget.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the farcical acts, which Tele-evangelists,

and countless others go through in their public dramatic performances,

          including speaking in tongues.

The reality is that the Eternal God who devised languages, is quite happy to speak

to us in our native tongue. It is simply not true to say that we have to address

the Eternal God our Father in heaven or Jesus Christ, by either Hebrew or Greek.

          Regardless of our native language,

the real issue is do we listen, and do what we are told.

Many who fuss about language, are in open rebellion.

Some are not even aware that some of these words used are derogatory.

Christ then explained that even the works that He was doing was not the result

of his human ability, but rather they were the works of the Father, who

          dwelt in Him.

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself:

but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Christ then having said again that they were one, told them that if they

cannot believe that, then at least they could believe that He could not

do the works himself, but that it was the Father who dwelt in Him,

who was doing these great works.

It is the very same for any true believer through whom the Eternal God is working.

If I were told to pray for healing for someone, I have no ability whatsoever to get

to the faulty cells or whatever is sick, and fix them.

Such a thought is a nonsense.

All I do is make the request, whilst believing and trusting in the Eternal God,

as I have been told to do and the Eternal God actually does all the work.

To think anything else is pompous arrogance.

John 14:11  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:

or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Christ then dramatically raises the bar, and tells the disciples, that any one

who believes on Him, and belief includes obeys His commandments,

will not only do what He did, but He would also do greater works.

          How could this be so?

How could we expect to do greater works, than Christ did?

          Christ said that we would.

If we are not doing greater works then it is because, most importantly,

we are not in the condition that will allow the Father to operate through us.

This is of course something each one of us has to address individually.

Secondly the time for this has not arrived.

We have examples of greater works than those which Christ did in the

book of Revelation, where the two witness are doing mighty world shaking miracles.

Revelation 11:6  These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days

of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood,

and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

John 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me,

            the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;

because I go unto my Father.

Christ then says that if we ask anything in His name that HE will do it.

The interplay between the Father and Christ continues.

We were just told that the Father does the works,

now Christ says that if we ask in His name, He will do the works.

John 14:13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,

that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:14  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Directly related to having our prayers answered comes the absolute necessary

prerequisite, of obedience. Verses John 14:13, 14, 15 are all linked together.

They are part of the very same thought.

Christ emphatically states that if we love Him, we would keep His commandments.

          This statement does several things.

First of all Christ calls the commandments His, not His Father’s.

As He was the God of the Old Testament, He could do this.

The only written commandments at the time Christ said this,

were those in what we now call the ‘Old Testament’.

As I have often said, I personally feel that one of the greatest tragedies,

is the splitting of the bible into two parts, often with a blank page in the middle.

          It is a composite book.

John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

For those who think that the commandments are ‘done away with’,

how could Christ do away with His own words?

What kind of God is He, if He says one thing one day, and then says something

          completely different the next day?

This is how humans act, and that is why the world, and the church is in the state

          that it is in now.

Did Christ not know what He was saying, and doing in the first place?

          It is absurd.

The Eternal God says that He not only knows the end from the beginning,

but even our thoughts before we have them.

Isaiah 46:10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times

the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand,

and I will do all my pleasure:

Matthew 6:8  Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth

what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

The Eternal knows everything about everything.

Bible scholars refer to this as omniscience

As far as the Eternal God, who dwells in eternity,

is concerned, in eternity there is no past,

and no future, everything is present tense.

What I am doing now was ordained from before the foundation of the earth was laid.

What I will do, whether it is good or evil,

in say  3 months time, on a specific day, hour, and minute, is already known,

          to the Eternal God.

This is the clear lesson of the Word of God.

In fact the Eternal God categorically states that He does not change.

He is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

What a blessing it is that we can rely on the Word of God to be steadfast and sure.

          Malachi 3:6  For I am the LORD, I change not;

therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Having emphasized the point that He and the Father are one in reality,

and not just in agreement, Christ now sets about showing His disciples that He and

the Holy Spirit, are also one.

He starts by telling them that He is going to ask the Father to send them

a Comforter to abide with them forever.

This Comforter is the Holy Spirit.

If one is a genuine believer, then the Christ, as the Holy Spirit lives in the believer.

It is therefore  a nonsense to go to a church meeting to ‘tarry’, that is wait for,

the Holy Spirit to fall on those gathered.

We are told that once we have the Holy Spirit that we will have it forever,

of course unless we fall away from the Truth, as unfortunately some do.

John 14:16  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,

            that he may abide with you for ever;

Christ clearly defines that the Comforter, as the Spirit of Truth.

John 14:17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,

We just saw in the verse which I repeat below that Jesus said that,

          He was the Truth.

Putting the two verses together, we are told that ‘The Truth’,

and the ‘Spirit of Truth’, are one and the same.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ then tells us that the world does not see or know him.

He continues by telling the disciples that they know the Spirit of Truth.

He explains it further by telling them that the Spirit of Truth is dwelling

with them, because, He, the Spirit of Truth was dwelling with them.

He continued and told them that in the future, note the word ‘shall’ is used,

that the Spirit of Truth, which is none other than the Holy Spirit will be literally

in them. Of course this is precisely what Pentecost is all about.

            because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him;

for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I have absolutely no idea what those who teach that there is a trinity

          are speaking about.

Neither can I accept that the Holy Spirit is a power.

This is a blatant lie, which is not supported by the Word of God.

John 14:18  I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

The poor disciples must have been in such a haze that He repeated it all again.

He told them that He would not leave them comfortless.

and He explained and clearly told them,  I will come to you.

It was not some entity, or power that they did not know, that was going to come to them.

It was that ‘He’, was going to come to them.

            John 14:19  Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more;

but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Christ then told them that in a little while, they would not see Him,

that was because He was going to die, and return to heaven,

they could understand none of this at the time, but in the future when the events

had taken place it would all make sense to them, because Christ, as the Holy Spirit,

would now be dwelling in them. They would understand that they were one with

Christ and the Father, and their lives would undergo a complete transformation, as it did.

John 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father,

and ye in me, and I in you.

Once again the importance of keeping the commandments is addressed.

It is not an intellectual thing as we can see.

The response to obedience is that Christ, and the Father will love us.

It is therefore not a one-sided love, but a mutual situation.

God loves us, and we love God.

He loved us first in the sad condition in which we were.

There is as it were an additional bonus for faithful believers.

It is that Christ will manifest Himself to them.

All that I am saying is that I am looking forward to that day, when not only

what I am doing is led by the Eternal God, and I know that it is,

but that I will also see Him, face to face.

Lest anyone think that I am arrogant in saying that what I am doing is led

by the Eternal God, many of the documents, and videos that I have produced,

could never have been made with all the perspiration in the world.

I could list document after document, and tell you outright, they are not subjects

that can be reasoned out by logic. If they were, then the entire world would be awash

with this knowledge, but it is not. There are definitely other speakers of Truth,

but they are very rare indeed. At this time I have not personally come across any,

but I am sure that in time I will.

John 14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them,

he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father,

and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:22  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord,

how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

John 14:23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me,

he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him,

and make our abode with him.

Christ is saying that if we do not keep His Words, then we neither love Him,

          nor the Father.

John 14:24  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:

and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

Unlike our condition today, Christ spoke directly in person to the disciples,

whereas today, face to face contact is not normal.

John 14:25  These things have I spoken unto you,

            being yet present with you.

The next verse is interesting in that Christ defines the Comforter to be the Holy Ghost,

He also said that the Holy Spirit, (Means the same as the Holy Ghost),

would bring to their remembrance everything that He had said.

As He was going to return as the Holy Spirit this is understandable.

It was not that He was going to have to instruct the Holy Spirit what He had said.

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,

whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,

and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Christ then gave them some words of encouragement, knowing how horrific the next

period of time was going to be for them.

He told them do not be afraid I will be your peace.

Ephesians 2:14  For he is our peace, who hath made both one,

          and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

John 14:27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:

not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,

            neither let it be afraid.

Christ again repeated, that not only was He going away, but He was going to return.

He was quite specific, that He was going to return to them.

          This happened at Pentecost.

First we see the promise repeated at the ascension.

Acts 1:8   But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:

and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,

and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Then we see the fulfillment of Christ returning as the Holy Spirit.

Acts  2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come,

they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts  2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,

and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts  2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire,

and it sat upon each of them.

Acts  2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues,                  (Languages) as the Spirit gave them utterance.

See Our Document, which explains that ‘Tongues’ means intelligible

languages and not repetitive meaningless gobble de gook : Speaking In Tongues

He also told them that they should rejoice.

          They could hardly understand this.

He continued and said that He was going to the Father, who was greater than He was.

How could that be that the Father was greater than He was,

when there is only one God?

When the Father came into the world in the garment of human flesh, as Christ,

the Father had chosen to do this, and with it came all the limitation of being

a human being. In the Spirit realm there were no such limitations.

As a human being, He could not dwell in each disciple could He?

Unshackled from a human body, He was then able to do all that was necessary

to fulfill His plan. Therefore the Father was greater than Christ, as there were

          absolutely no limitations on Him.

John 14:28  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away,

and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice,

because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Christ then explained to His disciples that He had told them everything before hand,

so that when it all happened they would understand.

John 14:29  And now I have told you before it come to pass,

that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

Christ then said that from henceforth He would not speak as much to them

as He had done before He died and was resurrected.

They had been personally taught by Christ Himself.

They were now moving into a new era, where they would have to grow in faith and belief.

It is the same for each of us, except the situation is reversed.

We are having to grow in faith and belief first,

and later we see the actual manifestation of Christ.

John 14:30  Hereafter I will not talk much with you:

for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Christ then told them that what was going to happen from now on and what

He was going to go through was because He loved the Father, and He was obedient

to Him, even up to His horrific death on the cross.

Having clearly spoken to them He said, let us go hence or as we would say today,

‘let the action begin’, ‘bring it on’.

            John 14:31  But that the world may know that I love the Father;

and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.

            Arise, let us go hence.

Be Humble      Repent      Listen To The Eternal God     Obey Him.

This is very easy to say, but I assure you that it is physically impossible without

the empowerment of the Eternal God.

Just going up to some altar call, running to some church, or isolating yourself

in the hope that somehow it will all go away, will not do it.

What are you going to do about it before it is too late?
