The
Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word Of The Eternal God.
The Only
Bible we Recommend Is The King James / A.V. Bible.
Here’s the reason, shocking but enlightening truth: The
Bible Is Used To Deceive
Leviticus
26:17
And I will set my face against you, and
ye shall be slain before your enemies:
they that hate you shall reign over
you; and
ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
Ezekiel 20:26 ……
that I might make them
desolate, to the end
that they might know that I am the LORD.
A Message From Peter James
Whosoever
shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
This is part of a sentence,
which when taken out of context seems to say that if anyone marries
someone who is divorced the person
commits adultery.
But does it really?
As I said it is just a part of a verse.
Let us look at the whole surrounding
context and other related scriptures.
This is the complete verse.
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife,
saving for
the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:
and whosoever
shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
It explains cause and effect regarding
divorce.
It is telling us that if you put away
your wife this is what the result will be,
except in the case of where the wife
has already committed sexual sin.
Of course the same is true if the
husband has committed adultery.
This is a section of Christ’s teaching
on what is called the ‘Sermon on the Mount’.
It includes what is known as the
beatitudes, where we also find things taken
out of context, however, I will
concentrate on the matter of ‘adultery’.
We have many false pastors who are
telling their congregations that they do not have to worry
about all the ‘Old Testament’ commandments.
However, Christ says that to teach such things will mean
that in the kingdom of heaven
you will be called the least. This is in the very same chapter.
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and
shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but
whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the
kingdom of heaven.
He then goes on to say that our righteousness must be better that the legalistic,
and wicked scribes and Pharisees, who of course were party to his brutal murder.
Legalistic
interpretation of the verses in this study have destroyed many families.
Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed
the
righteousness of
the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter
into the
kingdom of heaven.
Christ then addresses the 6th commandment
Exodus 20:13
Thou shalt not kill.
Matthew 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou
shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Christ
states that under the New Covenant much more was expected of believers,
who
are ‘brothers’, than just, you must not kill.
We
are not even to get angry with our brother,
note “without cause,” or curse our brother, otherwise we are
in
danger not only of judgment, but also of hell fire.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother
without
a cause shall
be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca,
shall
be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say,
Thou
fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
He then goes on to show reconciliation rather than outward show was what was required,
and that this should be addressed before going to
attend meetings.
It is the condition of our hearts that is important and not outward show.
In other words we must have love for our
brothers and our neighbours.
This should only be preceded by love for
the Eternal God.
Matthew 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there
rememberest
that
thy brother hath ought against thee;
Matthew 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way;
first
be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Matthew 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with
him;
lest
at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee
to
the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Matthew 5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence,
till
thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
For
all those misled millions of members in churches who are taught that the
commandments
no
longer apply, Christ then addressed the very next commandment,
the 7th commandment. There is even order in the sequence of this sermon by
Christ.
Exodus
20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Matthew
5:27 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old
time,
Thou shalt
not commit adultery:
It
was just a few verses previously that Christ stated that he did not come to
destroy the law,
or the
prophets, in spite of what the vast majority of ministers of all sorts claim.
Matthew 5: 17 ¶ Think not that I am come to
destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and
earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall
in
no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
It
is a fact that at this time heaven and earth have not passed away,
and
neither has everything been fulfilled.
Once
again Christ makes it very clear that his magnification of the law, means now
that
it
is not simply a matter of not having sex with another whilst being married,
but
just looking at another, and desiring to sleep with that person is adultery.
This goes way beyond just the physical act.
Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust
after her hath
committed
adultery with her already in his heart.
Many people go window-shopping, which is really having a quiet lust after things you neither
need, nor can afford. Now we get bombarded with
catalogues, newspapers, and tel-lie-vision,
and with every imaginable thing for us to lust after,
even in the privacy of our homes.
Christ deals with how lust works, and he gives some
very dramatic advice in order
to avoid letting your mind run riot, even to the
point of self mutilation,
which is very extreme, but it shows the seriousness
of the subject.
Matthew 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it
from thee:
for
it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
and
not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Matthew 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it
from thee:
for
it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
and
not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
At
present Toy boys, and Toy girls have now become the order of the day,
for
many who leave their local area. They feel they are somehow getting away with
their
immoral
activity. Once again they utterly ignore the fact that ‘There is a God in
heaven’,
as
my video of that name shows, and he watches all our activities.
this
application shows that He watches our thoughts.
See
our video: There is A God
In Heaven
Mr
Body Beautiful, and little Miss Pretty are in great demand.
There
is a massive holiday business built around this lust of the eyes.
Cruise
ships, and hedonistic holidays in Jamaica, Cancun and all over the place.
Strip
clubs, male and female, pole dancing pop music videos, the pre-Lent carnival in
Brazil,
with
many beautiful and naked bodies on display, and on and on it goes.
All
with a single objective to cause people to lust and to sin.
Today we have
some ludicrous, and even absurd reasons for divorce around the world.
You keep
burning the breakfast, you have to go.
You
are very untidy etc., etc., you have to go, etc. etc.
Matthew 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give
her
a writing of divorcement:
It was
never the intention that marriage was to be a merry go round,
a taste it
and see situation, but that is what it has become.
There were
two great institutions created immediately Adam and Eve had been made.
They were
the ‘Marriage’ and the ‘Sabbath’, in that order.
Genesis1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him;
male and female created he them.
Genesis1:28 And God blessed them, and
God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and
over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the
earth.
For those
who think that the Sabbath is for the Jews they need to think again.
Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God
ended his work which he had made;
and
he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh
day, and sanctified it:
because
that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
It
is clear that it is men and women that marry, without any further discussion
anything
else is an abomination. It is that simple.
Only
a man and a woman can be fruitful and multiply.
There
was absolutely no suggestion that this should be a temporary relationship.
After
all human marriage is a type of Christ marrying the church,
which,
thankfully, is a permanent thing, thankfully.
We
should also note the three parties to the marriage, Adam, Eve, and God.
That
is what is the crux of the matter, not a blessing by some pervert.
It
is my considered evaluation that blessings by rebellious ministers regardless
of their
denomination
are actually curses.
You
cannot give what you do not have.
You
can only give what you have.
It
is no surprise to me that people who have ‘lived together’
quite
happy for many years, and even have children, promptly split up as soon as they
get
‘married’.
The
couple should not be split up at all, but the seriousness of their relationship
should
be
emphasized to them.
It
is wrong to destroy happy functioning families, on the grounds of the scripture
‘do
not be unequally yoked’.
2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship
hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with
darkness?
A
genuine believer should not marry an unbeliever.
An
unbeliever cannot be defined as one who does not attend ‘your church’,
or one
does not who believes exactly what you believe.
A
believer is one who has repented, and received the Holy Spirit.
I
include these scriptures, which in a sense complicates the issue further,
but
we need to prayerfully read them, and not make them say things that
they
do not say. Just like Paul is doing I am doing exactly the same thing
1 Corinthians 7:6
But I speak this by permission, and
not of commandment.
Paul is saying that he felt that it is
better to remain single than to marry.
1 Corinthians 7:7
For I would that all men were even as I
myself.
But
every man hath his proper gift of God,
one
after this manner, and another after that.
1 Corinthians 7:8
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows,
It
is good for them if they abide even as I.
This is fine and true, but we also have to
weigh up and to take into consideration.
It is the teaching of celibacy,
particularly in the Roman Catholic Church
which has resulted in the rash of
paedophile activity amongst priests worldwide.
This has been well documented even in the controlled
and manipulated media.
Compensation to victims must be in the billions of
dollars, but it does absolutely
nothing to restore the shattered lives.
Genesis 2:18 And the
LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone;
I
will make him an help meet for him.
It is not biblical that priests,
ministers, pastors, call them what you will, do not marry.
Since when has the Catholic Church, and
its harlot daughters based what
they do on the Word of the Eternal God?
The clear answer is never.
Catholic Church no longer swears by
truth of the Bible
See original document here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,13509-1811332,00.html
Therefore Paul concludes.
1 Corinthians 7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry:
for
it is better to marry than to burn.
The next two verses are speaking to genuine
believers.
This is exactly as it should be.
1 Corinthians 7:10 ¶ And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord,
Let
not the wife depart from her husband:
1 Corinthians 7:11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled
to her
husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
The
next two verses are speaking to a mixed marriage of a believer, and an
unbeliever.
Peace
should not be destroyed because one is a believer and the other partner is an
unbeliever.
This
proves the error of pastors breaking up marriages because one has become a
believer,
often
in their church, and they have a partner who is not a member of their church.
1 Corinthians 7:12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife
that
believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13 And the
woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased
to
dwell with her, let her not leave him.
We
have further explanations that the unbelieving partner, and the children
benefit from
the
union with the believing partner, although the unbeliever will not acknowledge
or accept
that
this is indeed the case.
1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the
unbelieving
wife
is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they
holy.
If the unbelieving partner leaves, let them go, the believing partner
is not in bondage
in these cases. We are not told that in the future this person cannot
marry a believer
at some later time. This however, should be the final marriage until
death.
Many
who claim that they are believers prove their unconvertedness by their deeds.
Of
course every one can repent of their wrong doing.
They
ignore the following verse:
Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church,
and
gave himself for it;
However,
particularly believing husbands, or their ministers, loudly trumpet the
following verse,
whilst
wrapped in garments of ego and self, whilst the husbands mete out the most vile
treatment
to
their wives, including ridicule, and adulterous affairs.
So
many times I have seen wives treated as less than second class citizens, who
are ignorant,
and
utterly useless, when this is not the case at all.
Often
these wives are long suffering individuals, who take the full brunt of bringing
up the couples
children
on her own. She works every possible hour, usually to provide for their very
small children,
with
either and absent or an utterly lazy father.
Trapped,
the wives, in certainly what can be called an abusive relationship,
as
emotional or physical violence, is continuously meted out,
feel
that they have to ‘endure this prison
unto the end’.
I
am speaking of many examples of this, and not isolated cases.
When
I talk to these people, I hurt exceedingly.
It
is the same where ever I travel.
I
am not telling anyone to leave their spouse, I am just stating the case as it
is.
Ephesians 5:24
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ,
so let
the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
When a believer is married to an unbeliever, if the unbeliever departs
you can let them go.
1 Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart.
A
brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases:
but
God hath called us to peace.
Paul again jumps back to a believer and an unbeliever.
If you can stick with it, you should stick with it, this is his
message.
1 Corinthians 7:16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy
husband?
or
how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
In
the world today many couples are unbelievers so all they have is just the law
of the land.
This
is not based on God’s law.
However,
there is a the law in our hearts, whether we are believers or not,
and
as much as we might like to deny it,
we
all know when we have inflicted harm and pain on another.
We
might be callous and deceive ourselves, but deep in our hearts we know.
When
these unbelievers became couples they were not unequally yoked.
They
were actually equally yoked unbelievers.
Am
I promoting loose living?
Certainly
not, see my document on the seriousness and responsibilities of Relationships.
It
is a matter between the man, the woman and the Eternal God.
Even
if you do not involve God, people living together need to realise
that
it is a permanent thing.
Satan’s
corrupt political systems benefits those who breaks the laws of the Eternal
God,
and
penalises those who seek to obey the Eternal God.
Christ now
gives us some cause and effect facts.
He
tells us that it is the person who puts away his wife that causes her to commit
adultery.
Matthew
5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife,
saving for the cause of
fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:
and whosoever shall marry her that
is divorced committeth adultery.
Let us deal with the exception to causing the wife to
commit adultery.
This exception is “saving for the cause of fornication”.
This is because she has already committed adultery,
therefore Christ says that is lawful to put her away
The wife
might have been a very faithful and loyal in every way, but as stated earlier,
let us say
that the husband wanted a newer and younger model, the distraught wife who
had given
the best years of her life to the man she loved, has been left in a seriously
mental
mess, often fighting for her sanity.
She
therefore almost as a reflex reaction commits adultery.
We are
told that the husband was the cause.
Does this mean
that she is jumping into bed with every Tom, Dick, and Harry?
Not
necessarily at all.
We now can go back to the beginning of the message, she might just go ‘Window Shopping’,
lusting
after what she might not even be able to procure, but none the less, although
Matthew
5:32 was speaking about the wife
committing adultery,
The
following verse deals with the man committing adultery.
Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust
after her hath
committed
adultery with her already in his heart.
It is adultery none the less.
Let us
look at Matthew 5:32
again.
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife,
saving for
the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:
and whosoever
shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
First the
husband is the cause of the resulting adultery.
Secondly notice
that it is a single sentence, so there is no full stop after
the phrase, “causeth her to commit adultery:”
Third there is
a colon ’:’ after the word adultery.
This means that what follows is directly related to what
precedes it.
The translators of the King James, were absolutely
meticulous in their translations.
See Professor Gail Riplinger’s ‘New Age Bible Versions’, a must read for any serious
believer.
See our Document: The
Bible Is Used To Deceive for some examples of her excellent book.
Fourth there
is an ‘and’ which does exactly the very same
thing as the colon.
Fifth by
joining oneself to one who has committed adultery,
makes one an adulterer as they become ‘One Flesh’.
Sixth it does
not seem from this verse that everyone who marries someone
who is divorced automatically commits adultery.
This goes right back to Genesis when ‘marriage’ was
created.
Genesis 2:24
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother,
and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Christ then quotes Genesis to his listeners.
Matthew
19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave
father and mother,
and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one
flesh?
Matthew
19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh.
What therefore God hath joined together,
let not man put asunder.
Christ was actually repeating what He had personally said
in Genesis,
as Christ is the Creator.
John 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the
beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing
made that was made.
He that marries the one who has
committed adultery also commits adultery.
The accompanying sentence means that
the adulteress remains single.
Of course the situation when the man
commits adultery which is common, is the same.
Such a union will inevitably not be
blessed.
Sadly today we have much worse scenarios
with which to contend with homosexual,
and lesbian unions.
We have also shown that it is possible
for a mixed marriage of a believer and an unbeliever
in a worst case scenario to separate.
I know that some would like to exploit
this fact and ‘become a believer’, so that they could leave
their partner.
This very deed qualifies such a one as an unbeliever.
Because of the
rebellion, unthankfulness, and treachery of his first wife, the nation of
Israel,
Christ had to
divorce her.
This was a very
serious matter.
Christ had done
absolutely everything to look after the nation of Israel with awesome miracles,
and in the
minutest detail, eventually dying for her as well as everyone else.
Israel was far
more interested in living in Egypt and Babylon,
than being
faithful to Christ her husband.
By Egypt and
Babylon is meant the world’s system of government, business, religion, and
pleasure
It is for this
reason we produce ‘Babylon Report Videos’ and constantly keep calling on
everyone
to ‘Come
Out of Babylon’.
See our Video: Come
Out Of Babylon. Our
Document: Babylon -
You Live In Babylon
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her,
(Babylon as can be seen from the context) my people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins, and
that ye receive not of her plagues.
The following
verse gives the scripture relating to the divorce of Israel by Christ.
Jeremiah 3:8
And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed
adultery
I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce;
yet her treacherous sister Judah
feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
The good news is that Christ is going to marry his wife, who has made
herself ready.
Revelation 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him:
for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made
herself ready.
This bride, the manchild warrior bride, will be different to Christ’s
first wife, the nation
of ancient Israel. It will consist of
all who have repented and have the indwelling Holy Spirit,
and who also listen to, and obey what
Christ their soon coming bridegroom tells them now.
They would have made the necessary
changes to their lives in order to make themselves ready.
That is what the verse is saying, ‘she hath made herself
ready.’
See our video: The
Bride Of Christ
We all need to aim to be part of the bride of Christ, and make the
necessary God directed
changes, so that this becomes a reality.
This should be the purpose of our life.
I
repeat.
It is not my intention to trivialize marriage,
as it is of the uttermost seriousness,
but I do not believe that this verse:
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife,
saving for the cause of fornication,
causeth her to commit adultery:
and whosoever
shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
deals with all situations.
In all our relationship situations we should seek the
guidance of the Eternal God on what
we
can, and should do. Be very careful of marriage guidance counselors, who are
often in need
of
counseling themselves.
It is
very important that we should make sure that we carry out precisely what
the
Eternal God tells us personally.
We
also need to be very careful not to lean on our own understanding, because most
times this
is
what got us into the situation in which we find ourselves in the first place.
If we
obey, even though we do not understand how it will work out,
we can
be confident as the Eternal God is a faithful God, who deeply cares for His
children,
it
will all work out. This applies to any situation.
You
will have to make changes, and inevitably there will be pain,
but
the key is to do what the Eternal God tells you, and not any middle man.
Romans
8:28 And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according
to his purpose.
The
only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
Praise the Lord.
Come soon Lord
Jesus.
Amen.
