A WATER leak that gushed through a hamlet for 16 YEARS was
finally stemmed —
when a
farmer turned it off at a stopcock.
Water board officials had always insisted the stream
pouring down a lane was
a natural SPRING.
The leak created a constant river — and even a muddy
pool at its “source”.
We have been through many
months of price hikes for petrol because of real and
fictitious shortages. Now a continuing and very real
threat of water shortages is facing
the United Kingdom, and
other parts of the world. In the U.K. hose pipe bans and other severe measures
to stretch the water
supplies have been implemented in some areas, with announcements expected
in many more areas
shortly.
We are now dealing with the
basics of life, no water, no life.
Some years ago, in their
manifest wisdom the government saw it fit to privatise this basic life
resource.
A water company has not
even fixed a massive leak right next to their own offices
which has been pouring
millions of gallons of water down the drain over a period of 8 months.
They said that they did
not know how to fix it!
We can build nuclear bombs, and
send spacecraft to Mars, but we cannot fix a water leak!
The water companies have made
handsome profits, while they admit to losing some 800 million gallons
of water daily through
leaky pipes. That is an enormous amount of water.
With a UK population of
approximately 60.4 million, that means approximately 13 gallons of water
are lost daily, for every
man, woman, and child, in the country.
A drought stricken sub
Saharan African would think that so much water would be a luxury.
We can see that our

All that privatisation
has done is that it has hastened our demise.
Instead of recognising
how important a resource water is, and fixing leaks and conserving water,
we prefer to plunder the
deep underground aquifers of our water reserves.
These need to be
replenished by the autumn and winter rains, when vegetation is dormant.
As winter rain has been
almost negligible in many areas, they have not been replenished.
The professionals say
that even if it rained every day for the rest of the year it would not make
any difference, as
vegetation would soak up the rain.
Rivers are rapidly drying
up and becoming walking paths.
You hear that the mighty
Amazon River in South America is also drying up.
Somalia amongst other
places is facing severe drought and famine.
The problem certainly
seems to be international.
Yet at the same time
flooding has been devastating several countries in central Europe.
The wrong type of rain in
the wrong season.
Many of our houses are
well stocked with TV’s, computers and other gadgetry.
Even in India, which has
a water problem, more people have access to a TV than to clean water.
It seems that we are
going to be in the very same situation in the U.K.
There is talk about water
tankers travelling with armed guards.
We tend to think that the
illiterate Africans are responsible for their perennial drought conditions.
It now appears that it is
rather the industrial activity of Europe which has interfered with the weather
systems, which have
resulted in the lack of rainfall in places like Ethiopia.
Industrial pollution has
shifted the weather systems from their normal positions.
Of course adding money to
an equation tends to make it worse.
Soon greed will rear its
ugly head.
However, there is more to the
story than all of the above.
Rain is a blessing from
the Eternal God.
Clean rain in due season
is a critical blessing.
Leviticus 26:4 Then
I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase,
and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
It therefore follows that lack of rain, the wrong
kind of rain, or rain at the wrong time,
means that the blessing of rain the right amount of
rain at the correct season has been with held.
Here we can see that Solomon was
fully aware that the withholding of rain had a cause,
and that sin, was the cause of
this result.
1 Kings 8:35 When heaven is shut up, and there is no
rain, because they have sinned against thee;
if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name,
and turn from their sin,
when thou afflictest them:
1 Kings 8:36 Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and
of thy people
Israel, that thou
teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give
rain upon thy land,
which thou hast given to thy people for an
inheritance.
Solomon knew that the solution to
drought was that the people needed to be taught
by the Eternal God, the good way
wherein they should walk.
Moses made it clear that drought,
the shutting up of the heavens, would result in the destruction
of the people from off the good
land, which they had been given.
Deuteronomy 11:17 And then the LORD’S wrath be kindled
against you, and he shut up the heaven,
that there be no rain, and that the land yield not
her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from
off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
I am saying that sin and rebellion are the cause of
all our problems.
But, many people feel, and some even infer that they
have no sin.
The very section of the Bible that exposes sin, is
the section which the modern Christian
tries to discard.
Of course I mean the Old Testament.
There we not only see various sins described, we also
see the secret activities,
which we have no means of knowing, exposed.
It is very easy to see sin in others, but not in
ourselves.
As our present condition in the Tribulation which is
gathering pace, is beginning to affect us,
we need to understand what is going on, and take the
proper course of action to try to resolve
our dire situation.
We have main political and religious leaders involved
in immoral sinful misconduct.
I am not pointing a finger. What I want to show is
that the media and the public in general says that
we should not concern ourselves with the private lives
of these public figures.
I am not even saying that we should concern
ourselves, however, what I am saying is that the country
at large suffers, when its leaders sin, regardless of
what our ‘opinions’ are, about how well
an individual carries out his paid employment.
Furthermore, our general response shows that
the general public, at the very least condones these
wrong activities.
Lying, stealing, vulgarity, abortion, plundering the
poor, gross sexual behaviour, idolatry,
adultery, fornication, violence, etc. etc., are
accepted as normal.
When I say rebellion this is what I mean.
Psalms 78:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious
generation;
a generation that set not their heart aright,
and whose spirit was not steadfast with God.
Isaiah 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and
companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts,
and followeth after rewards: they judge not the
fatherless, neither doth the cause
of the widow come unto them.
Isaiah 30:9 That this is a rebellious people,
lying children,
children that will not hear the law of the
LORD:
Ezekiel 2:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of
Israel,
to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me:
they and their fathers
have transgressed against me, even unto this
very day.
I do believe that the English speaking people
comprise a great proportion of the ancient
nation of Israel if not all of it.
I believe that the Jews are Judah which is different.
Of course many of the “Jews”, are not really Jews at
all.
This is one of two references. The second is
Revelation 2:9.
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of
Satan, which say they are Jews,
and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to
come and worship before thy feet,
and to know that I have loved thee.
I believe that the English, are the tribe of Ephraim.
It is no accident that English is the main language
of industry, education and Christianity.
When you actually read the bible with this in mind you
will then see how dire our situation is.
Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the
drunkards of Ephraim,
whose glorious beauty is a fading flower,
which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that
are overcome with wine!
Regarding nations, we have to keep in mind that the
bible is mainly about the Israelite and Jewish
nation, and the nations with whom they come into
contact. The New Testament after Acts is about
Christians, but even then the majority of believers
were Jews.
I strongly suggest that you read the books of Isaiah,
Jeremiah, and Ezekiel to get some idea
of what is going on. You will not understand all of
it, no one does.
Like a huge puzzle you will find a little bit here
and a little bit there.
Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept,
precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line;
here a little, and there a little:
Isaiah 28:7 But they also have erred through wine, and through
strong drink are out of the way;
the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink,
they are swallowed up of wine,
they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
At any week preceding a holiday when I visit the
local huge supermarket I see vast quantities
of alcohol going through the checkouts.
My purpose for introducing this section was just to
show that we are not seeing reality,
and the truth is very different from what you see in
the media and hear in the churches.
We are doing the very opposite of what we are
commanded by the Eternal God to do.
There is a cause for drought, for war, for family
breakdown and every evil.
We deal with all these things on this website.
It is not exclusive to us others are also doing this.
The idea that Grace is license to do what we want, to
do good works, and have a good time,
is not of God.
The way that we should conduct ourselves is clearly
defined, in the word of God.
We can probably add that many of the activities which
obviously show the lack of a sound mind,
have been allowed to take place, by the Eternal God,
in order to wake people up.
Simple logic, indeed even the advice from the water
companies, not to have dripping taps,
to repair leaks quickly, should first of all be
applied by the water companies themselves.
It is common sense, that a five year old can
understand.
The fact is that we needed more reservoirs and none
were built for whatever reason, objections etc.
The reality is that no water no life, though you
might well have tel-lie-vision and the world cup.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind.
Let us make the above verse crystal clear.
It tells us that a sound mind is a gift from God.
Since most people including the ministers of the
churches and of the government,
actively oppose the Eternal God, according to this
verse they will have unsound minds.
Do you now understand why you are unable to
understand the decisions of the government,
of the churches, and the courts?
It is very clear that our leaders and their
supporters do not act with sound minds.
We can also say that they are often professional
people and well educated,
however, it is because of a lack of knowledge that we
are in confusion and perishing.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest
to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.
I mentioned the wrong kind or rain.
In Britain we are famous for having the wrong kind of
everything.
When things go wrong in the winter, we have the wrong
kind of snow for example.
We can see the wrong kind of rain here.
Deuteronomy 28:24 The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust:
from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou
be destroyed.
My car is coated with a gentle coating of dust, that
is coming out of the sky.
In my area, the rain clouds are always visible, but
they just pass us by as they go elsewhere,
often passing other places by as well.
I heard a phone-in radio program, and a caller from
the North of the country said that he did not see
what all the fuss was about as they had plenty of
rain in the Yorkshire area.
I really do wonder at the comments listeners make on
phone-in programs.
In Amos it is very clear that rain can be on one city
and then not on another.
Often the parched ground cannot absorb the rain and
flooding results.
Those who do not need the rain, keep getting it, and
those who need it get very little, if any.
Amos 4:7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were
yet three months
to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one
city, and caused it not to rain upon another city:
one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it
rained not withered.
I am fully aware of the use of weather as a weapon.
Some days you can see the artificially made Chemtrail
clouds absolutely covering the sky.
Other times for several days you can see overcast
days with the threat of rain but hardly a drop falls.
What those people who tamper with the weather need to
understand is that they have to start
factoring the Eternal God into the equation, as He is
very real and He takes an active interest
in His creation.
Jeremiah 14:22 Are there any among the vanities of
the Gentiles that can cause rain?
or can the heavens give showers? art not thou
he, O LORD our God?
therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made
all these things.
We have stated several times that we are in the
tribulation right now.
Rain is going to play a crucial part in these end
times.
The withholding of rain is something that the two
witnesses will do, as they desire.
Revelation 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of
their prophecy:
and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and
to smite the earth with all plagues,
as often as they will.
It happened in the past and it will happen again.
Elijah did that.
1 Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of
Gilead, said unto Ahab,
As the LORD
God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain
these years, but according to my word.
The terrible drought was only broken after Elijah
prayed that it would be broken.
James 5:17 Elias (Elijah) was a man
subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly
that it might not rain: and it rained not on the
earth by the space of three years and six months.
As we have said so many times there is a price for
our rebellion.
Jeremiah 14:1 ¶ The
word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the dearth.
2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof
languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry
of Jerusalem is gone up.
3 And their nobles have sent their little ones
to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water;
they returned with their vessels empty; they were
ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.
4 Because the ground is chapt, for there was no
rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed,
they covered their heads.
5 Yea,
the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no
grass.
6 And the wild asses did stand in the high
places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons;
their eyes did fail, because there was no
grass.
7 O LORD, though our iniquities testify against
us, do thou it for thy name’s sake:
for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against
thee.
We cannot really blame Iraq for our plight.
In fact the coalition troops destroyed their ability
to get fresh water and power,
which they had before the invasion to bring them
‘freedom’.
We have written many messages showing that we will
reap what we sow.
It might not happen how we envisage it, but happen it
will.
If it does not happen, then the Eternal God would not
be faithful to His word.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Some might feel that they have been wise and paid
attention, and they have saved some
rain water in water butts, I have some water in water
butts. If that is where our faith is,
we are indeed in just as much trouble as those who
have no water.
We would be very surprised how much water we actually
use every day.
Water butts would only last a very short time.
In any case to focus on catching a few gallons of
water is to miss the point, just like the woman
at the well did.
John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw
water: Jesus saith unto her,
Give me
to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him,
How is it that thou, being a Jew,
askest drink
of me, which am a woman of Samaria?
for the
Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou
knewest the gift of God,
and who
it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him,
and he
would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast
nothing to draw with, and the well is deep:
from
whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well,
and drank thereof himself,
and his
children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus
answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst
again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I
shall give him shall never thirst;
but the
water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up
into
everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give
me this water, that I thirst not,
neither
come hither to draw.
Christ was thirsty so He asked for a drink of water.
However, He knew that the important thing that the
woman needed was living water,
and not just the physical water.
In the book of beginnings, Genesis, we are introduced
to the Tree of Life, and that is the tree
from which Adam and Eve, and ourselves should eat.
Here, Christ introduced us to Living Water, which is
the same as the Tree of Life.
Without physical water we would eventually die.
Without Living Water, which is none other than
Christ, we would be lost.
There would be no salvation.
Wisdom decrees that we quit our rebellion, our pride,
arrogance and idolatry,
and become obedient.
The following verses clearly explain the cause of
drought.
Jeremiah 5:24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now
fear the LORD our God,
that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in
his season: he reserveth unto us
the appointed weeks of the harvest.
25 ¶ Your iniquities
have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden
good things from you.
26 For among my people are found wicked men:
they lay wait, as he that setteth snares;
they set a trap, they catch men.
27 As a cage is full of birds, so are
their houses full of deceit:
therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
28 They
are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked:
they judge not the cause, the cause of the
fatherless, yet they prosper;
and the right of the needy do they not judge.
29 Shall I not visit for these things?
saith the LORD:
shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as
this?
On the Rhema pages on our website, we have the
following very relevant statement.

Your house is truly on
fire.
There is no water in the
taps, which can put it out.
It is time to repent
before it is too late and Come Drink Of
The Water of Life.
You have a choice.
You must chose.
You have been commanded to choose life.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day
against you,
that I have set
before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,
that both thou and thy seed may live:
These are the
closing words of the Bible.
Revelelation22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And
let him that heareth say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will,
let him take the water of life freely.
You can see from this that water is of critical
importance in every possible way.
The Eternal God invites you to take of this water
freely.
To this I say Amen.

of Christ, rain will be used to correct
rebellious nations.
If you believe that the Sabbath and the Holy days are

Zechariah 14:16 ¶ And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of
all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to
year to worship the King,
the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of
tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that
whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto
Jerusalem to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be
no rain.
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus Christ.
He is the only way of escape.

Water companies
are making record profits despite presiding over sharp increases
in
water leakages.
Figures from the Office of Water Services (Ofwat) reveal
rising leak rates for five
of
Britain's 23 water firms between 2001 and 2005.
United
Utilities, which supplies the North West of England,
allowed
132 million gallons to leak away each day last year,
while
pre-tax profits rose from £237.9 million to £244 million.
Three
Valleys Water lost 39 million gallons a day last year,
two
million gallons more than in 2001, while pre-tax profits of the firm,
which
covers parts of Essex and Hertfordshire,
rose
by 32 per cent from £31.6 million to £42.7 million.
South
Staffordshire Water, which serves the West Midlands,
lost
more than 19 million gallons a day in 2005,
but
saw pre-tax profits rise 21 per cent to £18 million in 2005.
Cambridge
Water Company lost 3.7 million gallons a day in 2005,
as
pre-tax profits rose to over £4 million.
Thames
Water, Britain's biggest water company, is the worst offender.
Since
2001, its daily leakages have risen from 181 million to 241 million gallons
- up
32 per cent.
Over
this period the firm's profits have dipped slightly from £259 million in 2001
to
£256 million last year.
The
figures come as millions in the South East face the most wide-ranging water
bans in a decade.
Thames
Water's hosepipe ban from next month will affect 14 million homes.
A
further six companies have either announced bans or plan to impose them from
April.
With
an estimated 800 million gallons haemorrhaging each day from antiquated mains
networks
-
enough to supply almost nine million homes - consumer groups yesterday called
on the nation's
water
companies to do more to plug the leaks.
The Consumer
Council for Water said there was more chance of a resentful public accepting
bans
if
water companies put their own houses in order first.
The
National Consumer Council said companies should be forced to demonstrate that
they
had done everything possible to limit leaks.
If
they have not taken all steps yet are still imposing bans,
this
would not seem a very fair approach," said a spokesman.
"If
water companies are continuing to make large profits there is no reason
why
they shouldn't be addressing these leaks."
