The Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word Of The Eternal God.
The Only
Bible we Recommend Is The King James / A.V. Bible.
Here's the
reason, shocking but enlightening truth: The
Bible Is Used To Deceive
A Message From Peter James
OBEDIENCE
1
Samuel 15:23 For rebellion
is as the sin of witchcraft,
and stubbornness
is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because thou hast rejected the word of the
LORD,
he hath also rejected thee from being
king.
My message is addressed directly to the
‘True Church, the Bride,
the Body of Christ’.
When the
words in italics, which are put there to make the verse clearer,
are
omitted, the verse in fact becomes even more powerful.
1
Samuel 15:23 For rebellion
the sin of witchcraft,
and stubbornness
iniquity and idolatry.
Because thou hast rejected the word of the
LORD,
he hath also rejected thee from being
king.
We see that witchcraft, stubbornness, and
idolatry, defines rebellion.
Time continues to pass and people are saying
where is the kingdom of God?
Where is the return of Christ that you have
spoken about in your messages?
2 Peter 3:3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in
the last days scoffers,
walking
after their own lusts,
4
And saying, Where is the promise
of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they
were from the beginning of the creation.
Just the
fact that the question is asked shows that we are indeed in the last days.
We have addressed this before several times,
and we will address it again.
The truth is that Christ
cannot return until His bride has made herself ready.
How can there be a wedding without a bride?
Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour
to him:
for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his
wife hath made herself ready.
The
inevitable question is why has the bride not made herself ready?
Have you
ever seen a wedding, where the bridegroom is dressed in his morning suit,
and the
bride turns up in jeans and a T shirt?
The bride is not ready because of
disobedience and rebellion.
If the bride of Christ were
ready Christ would have returned already.
We
do not have to worry about the New World Order, and such things.
It is
not because of them that Christ has not returned.
It
is because of us and our rebellion.
Some
of my friends were most unhappy when I said that we are murderers.
One
said that he would not speak to me until I apologised for calling him a
murderer.
Of
course every day which passes and Christ’s return is hindered,
thousands
more people suffer and die. That is a fact.
We are Responsible. See: Mea Culpa
How
can Christ return to a church in rebellion?
If
He did, who are going to be the kings and priests?
Revelation
5:10 And hast made us unto our God
kings and priests:
and we
shall reign on the earth.
Is
Christ once again going to have rebellious kings and priests,
similar
to when his top most creation, Lucifer, rebelled and became Satan?
I
think not.
Surely
we can see that if He did, He would have to rule the entire world on His own,
and
His plan for mankind would have failed.
His
sacrifice would have been in vain.
Many
believers are rushing here there and everywhere, looking for signs and wonders,
and
more understanding of the scriptures as they go all over the world to hear
this
or that eminent ‘Pastor’, or even as the lost sheep of Ezekiel 34.
They
wander shepherdless, as they go from church to church.
What
most certainly do not want is their cosy world to be confronted by Truth.
They
are saying, God must find another way, which is acceptable to them.
In
other words they want to do anything, but to obey.
Thus
when we say that witchcraft is rampant in the churches, it is an accurate statement.
Revelation
2:13 I know thy works, and where
thou dwellest, even where
Satan‘s seat is:
and thou
holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith,
even in
those days wherein Antipas
was my
faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Once again
if we leave out the italic ‘even’.
It becomes
clear that in this letter to the church they are being told that
they dwell
where Satan’s seat is.
Satan’s
seat is in the churches. See: How
Churches Are Deceived
Satan
uses the bible to deceive. See: The
Bible Used To Deceive
Satan
deceives the elect anytime they give him an opportunity.
See: Can
the elect be deceived
When
the Eternal shines light on the true situation, the result is not humble
obedience,
not
at all. What tends to happen is we move to a bargaining position.
Often,
we clearly see our true position, but we say, if God says or does this or that,
then
we will obey. We set up our terms and conditions.
In
so doing we reduce the Eternal down to our level.
We
seem oblivious to the fact that the Eternal God has to do absolutely nothing
else.
He
speaks and that is it.
When
he has convicted you of the situation,
from
that moment on the decision is yours and yours alone.
As a
rebellious child He certainly will punish in order to get your attention.
Hebrews
12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he
chasteneth,
and
scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
All
God’s children are called sons, whether male or female.
In Genesis
1, in the creation account we do not read of any
conditional clauses.
God
did not say.
Let
there be light, if you want to, or if you feel like it, or whenever you are
ready.
No
not at all.
It
was.
Light
be.
It
is like a man who is drowning and he prays asking God to rescue him.
God
sends along a branch for him to hold on to, he lets it go by.
God then
sends a boat drifting pass him, he does not exert himself to get into it.
Eventually
he drowns.
When
he meets up with God, he complains to God why did you not help me?
God
says whom do you think sent the branch and the boat?
We
do not dictate to God.
He
tells us what to do, and that is it.
There
is nothing complex about it at all.
People
complain about genuine messengers of the Eternal God all the time.
They
are the wrong Race, Colour, Sex, Height, their voice is not pleasant,
their
clothes are wrong etc., etc.
So
much so that now we have televangelists having body and facial surgery,
wearing
wigs. etc. etc. We want to look the part and to fit in.
We
would be far wiser to concentrate on the important things,
like
obedience and humility.
They
both walk hand in hand.
The
prophets were very ordinary people.
Christ
was so ordinary in appearance that he could disappear in a crowd,
therefore
He had to be betrayed and identified by the kiss and not a long
effeminate
hair style.
Luke
22:48 But
Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man
with a
kiss?
If I
have learnt one thing in my profession, when working with computers, it is
this.
If
you do not follow the procedure required precisely, you will fail.
Praying,
Fasting, Feelings, Opinions, Meetings, Reading your bible,
Playing
your Christian records, standing on your head,
or
anything you like, will not make the slightest difference.
if
you do not conform to what is required, you will fail.
Many
tell me that we are under the New Covenant now,
and
that the Old Law, is no longer required.
Really?
Since
when?
Let
us stick with computers for a moment.
It
does not matter whether you are New Covenant or Old Covenant believer,
what
I said still applies. What you are doing will fail utterly if you do not
obey
the rules by which the program operates.
Christ’s
sacrifice replaced the shadow of the rituals,
and
sacrifices of the Old Covenant.
It is
a blatant lie that He did away with the commandments and obedience to them.
It
is pure unadulterated rebellion to go against the laws which were set up,
not
as a test, but rather for our own good. Whether we obey or not does not affect
the
Eternal God in the slightest. It is us who are blessed or suffer according to
our deeds.
Obedience is not a ritual, and it certainly is not optional.
1
Samuel 15:22 And
Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrifices,
as in
obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold,
to
obey is better than sacrifice,
and to
hearken than the fat of rams.
From
Genesis through to Revelation, which includes today we have to choose,
either
life or death.
We
will never ever be forced to choose, but we certainly have been commanded what
to choose.
The
Eternal God is sad that we are causing our own suffering.
He
gains nothing by obedience, and he does not lose anything by our disobedience.
However,
it does make a mockery of His tremendous sacrifice for each of us.
We
just love to do our own thing.
Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their
mouth,
and honoureth me with their lips; but
their heart is far from me.
9 But in
vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments
of men.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day
against you,
that I have set before
you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose
life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
In fact normal human beings are far harder to
deal with than devils.
Devils fear and tremble before the Eternal.
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou
doest well:
the devils also believe, and tremble.
People scoff at the command to obey.
Even Balaam who was a servant of Satan who
cursed for money,
dared not go beyond what the Eternal God permitted.
Numbers
22:13 And Balaam
rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak,
Get you
into your land: for the LORD refuseth to give me leave
to go with
you.
Satan, himself
dared not go beyond what God commanded him, when he gave Job into his hands.
What we do
determines if we are blest or not.
The
sooner that we realise that obedience is not an option,
but
rather a critical necessity, the better.
We have
to stop making indefensible lame excuses, which result
in
our children and ourselves suffering, needlessly.
Exodus
20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself
to them, nor serve them:
for I the
LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon
the
children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate
me;
Exodus
34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands,
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will
by no
means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children,
and upon
the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Let
us take time are understand that our rebellion is affecting our children and
grand
children etc. Ever wondered why your children might be so rebellious?
Maybe
we have discovered a cause.
Did
you get the point in these verses?
The
Eternal says that the rebellious ‘Hate
Him’
So
how does the bible define love?
Is
it the fuzzy cotton wool feeling of Tel-Lie-Vision and the Soaps?
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my
commandments.
Now that
is a definitive statement.
It does
not say keep your commandments and your traditions, or anything
else that
you might devise, and think that I will find these things acceptable
in place
of what you have been told to do. In fact our self-generated deeds are
declared
abominations time and again.
Our
righteousness filthy rags.
Isaiah
64:6 But we
are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses
are as filthy
rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have
taken us away.
It says
keep my commandments period.
It might
surprise some to learn the commandments are the same,
in the
Old and New Testament.
They have
neither been fulfilled nor done away.
To
transgress the ten commandments is to sin.
1
John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin
transgresseth also the law:
for
sin is the transgression of the law.
Is
that being a fundamentalist or legalist.
No.
It
is merely saying what the bible says.
I am
not interpreting the bible in any way.
It
is as if by nature, we are stiff necked and rebellious.
Jeremiah
17:23 But they obeyed not, neither inclined their
ear, but made their neck stiff,
that they
might not hear, nor receive instruction.
It is a
terrible mistake to believe that what is in the Old Testament does not apply
to us
today. The prophets in the Old Testament despaired of the conduct of the
people,
to whom
they were sent.
Here is
just one example.
The prophet
Ezekiel was sent to the house of Israel and Judah.
It was not
an easy task.
Ezekiel
2: 3 And he said unto me, Son of
man, I send thee to the children of Israel,
to a
rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers
have transgressed
against me, even unto this very day.
4 For they are impudent children and
stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them;
and thou
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
5
And they, whether they will
hear, or whether they will forbear,
(for they
are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among
them.
6 ¶ And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them,
neither be afraid of their words,
though
briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions:
be not
afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks,
though
they be a rebellious house.
The vast
majority of readers of the website, are Israelites.
Furthermore
nothing has changed.
Jeremiah
13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his
skin, or the leopard his spots?
then may ye
also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
Of course
these verses have universal application.
Jeremiah
16:9 For thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Behold,
I will cause
to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth,
and the
voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
10 ¶ And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt
shew this people all these words,
and they
shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil
against us?
or what is
our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our
God?
11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your
fathers have forsaken me,
saith the
LORD,
and have
walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them,
and have
forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers;
for, behold, ye walk every one after
the
imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land
into a land that ye know not,
neither ye
nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night;
where I
will not shew you favour.
Next
time you see or hear about some atrocity on the news,
reflect
carefully about your own position.
Try
to keep this evaluation of us by the Eternal God in mind.
Jeremiah 5:23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart;
they
are revolted and gone.
Humble
yourself and seek to be more obedient that you were previously.
This
can only be accomplished by the indwelling Christ.
You
have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
This
message applies to each and every one of us, there are no exceptions.
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
Praise the Lord.
Come soon Lord Jesus.
Amen.
