This is the marvellous testimony from someone
who took up the challenge
and ‘Came out of Babylon’.
This is a response to someone on an email
list who made a cry for help.
Their message is at the end of this

Dear . . . . .
I am not answering your list point by point,
but I will tell you my experience to illustrate that you are not alone in any
of your problems.
I attended a church for 17 years, and enjoyed
the services, but I did not really know God, although I felt his presence from
time to time. Members of the church were
friendly on a superficial level but never really tried to know anything
further.
Therefore, where you would expect to get
support, it did not really exist, and people who feel lonely can be even
lonelier in a church than out of it.
I felt worthless, worried, and anxious,
depressed, and confused because I knew I was a sinner.
There seemed to be no connection between me
and anyone else so everything was a ‘show’ and I could not really love
anyone.
I did not really hate but I did not
love.
What I could do at church to help others and
get involved,
I did, but it was another ‘show’.
It gave me no sense of belonging, of serving
God.
The more I felt worthless, the less I seemed
to be able to do anything about it,
but that was because I was trying to solve my
problems myself.
You say “when I am trying my hardest, I
really mean it”.
Don’t try, ask God to be the solution to each
problem.
Be specific, and He will make a way out of
each one.
I prayed but did not really get any answers
and this confirmed that God did not even love me, and I saw no reason why He
should.
I had come to hate and despise myself because
I knew I was a sinner and I could not move from this same round of self doubt
and self hate.
But I had always had an inkling deep down
that however vile I was, God did love me because I knew he had something for me
to do. I left the church and about two
years later, through reading a warning by God to the churches, and their lack
of obedience to Him, I was convicted profoundly that the time for change had
come. I did not initiate this change,
but the Eternal God did so.
Through every single thing that I had
experienced throughout my life (good and bad), and all the feelings of
uselessness and worthlessness that I had come to feel, which were so
overwhelming that I could do nothing about them,
God made a way for me.
He showed me that nothing but absolute purity
was possible to serve Him.
He showed how pure His son, Jesus Christ,
was,
and how He had died for me, vile though I
was.
He led me through a system of spiritual
cleansing,
where I repented continually of all I had
done, said,
and thought so that I could be His true
servant because He has a purpose for me.
I was called before the foundation of the
world, as YOU are, too, to hear
His words to you personally, and to OBEY
them.
Every time I repented the veils came off my
eyes to see myself, and others,
more and more as God sees us.
Every time I read any chapter of the Bible,
God inspired me to understand
what he was truly saying.
He cleansed me, made me whole, and gave me
His Word of life,
His Son, as a living, breathing Saviour, who
forgave all my sins.
I was renewed and made whole, with all the
baggage of sin lifted from my shoulders.
I then became a ‘real’ person, who did not
put on a ‘show’, to whom people became, as they should be, made in the image of
God. God made a way for me to assist in
His plan, to be part of His bride, as you are, too.
God has been speaking to you through all your
unhappy experiences, and pain.
He wants you to be wholly His, to dedicate
your whole life to Him, to listen to His voice and OBEY.
Every time you obey, you will be changed, and
all these negative feelings
(which come from Satan) will go. But Satan will try to keep his hold on you
through
your feelings and often, especially, through
music. You have to be careful what you
listen to because certain pieces of music can take you immediately back to a
situation you have been in, or a person you have known, and bring back those
old feelings and fears.
The Eternal God alone can take away all the
ties that have bound you to the partners you have known so that you are
released from their problems, which became your problems when you had a
physical relationship.
Therefore, you are now not only fighting your
own worries,
but those you have accumulated from others
because of the spiritual bond you entered into when you had a physical union.
When God cleanses His servants, He makes them
desire purity because it says
“because as He (Jesus Christ) is, so are we
in this world”.
Through God alone can this be a reality. God gives us the gift of His indwelling Holy
Spirit (when we truly repent). We then
love God even more, and desire to serve Him utterly, because of His mercy
towards us. The love of God in us,
through His Holy Spirit, then casts out fear and doubt.
The more we are submitted to God, the greater
any repulsing
of Satan’s attacks will be.
God shows us how to act as warriors every day
so that we build up
spiritual strength through faith in Him. Every problem, no matter how great,
can be solved by steadfast faith.
You are on the path to becoming a 100% servant
of the Eternal God.
Let Him bear all your worries and guide you
through each day.
He will show you love on a level that can
never be experienced between a man and woman but which can make your human
relationships flourish if you give Him the praise and Him the glory, through
Jesus Christ, for making you new and whole.
We will pray for you as brothers and sisters
in Christ.

Be
Humble Repent Listen To The Eternal God Obey Him.
This is very easy to say, but I
assure you that it is physically impossible,
without the empowerment of the
Eternal God.
Attending some Church,
going up to an altar call, or isolating yourself,
in the hope that somehow it will all be
alright, will not do it.
What are you going to do about
it before it is too late?
