The
Oxford English Dictionary defines:
HERESY
Opinion contrary to
the orthodox doctrine of the Christian Church, or to the accepted doctrine on
any subject.
Answers.com says
adj.
1.
Of worldwide scope or applicability; universal.
2.
a.
Of or relating to the worldwide Christian church.
b.
Concerned with establishing or promoting unity among
churches or religions
The
Catholic Church states that heresy is anything that is against what the Roman
Catholic Church, under the Pope and the Holy Fathers teach.
It does
not matter what the bible states, as their authority is greater that the bible.
Heresies
are defined by whim.
In fact
they oppose the bible at almost every turn, in favour of the ‘Church Fathers’.
Q. 2. How does the Catholic Church define ecumenism?
A. That question is
better answered by quoting paragraph # 820 of the Catechism of the Catholic
Church:
C.C.C. # 820 "Christ
bestowed unity on his Church from the beginning. This unity, we believe,
subsists in the Catholic Church as something she can never lose, and we hope
that it will continue to increase until the end of time." [UR 4 # 3.]
Christ always gives his Church the gift of unity, but the Church must always
pray and work to maintain, reinforce, and perfect the unity that Christ wills
for her. This is why Jesus himself prayed at the hour of his Passion, and does
not cease praying to his Father, for the unity of his disciples: "That
they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also
be one in us,... so that the world may know that you have sent me." [Jn
17:21; cf. Heb 7:25.] The desire to recover the unity of all Christians is a
gift of Christ and a call of the Holy Spirit. [Cf. UR 1.]"
Regardless of the above,
I have to tell you that the original Greek
simply meant choice,
and not the distorted meanings given above, which is choose what we the Catholic church
states otherwise you are a cursed heretic.
I have to tell you that Oneness and ‘unity’ are not
the same.
You can be united and still not ‘One’.
Just think of many relationships and you will see
people who are united, and certainly they are not ‘One’.
Please study the verse quoted above, that is John 17:21 from the Catholic Catechism.
Christ prayed that His church would be ‘One’ not that it would be united.
Now
exactly which of the very plain words of the Rhema did you not understand?
I am not asking which words you did not like, because they touched a
nerve.
Do you think that because God is Love and loves us,
that He would not say such things?
Think again.
Is it not written that genuine believers are to come out of the False
Church or bare the consequences?

point 2, § II: "We commit ourselves... to promote ecumenical learning
in Christian
education and in theological training and further education."
Are you surprised that the former
independent countries, now linked to the European Union, gradually must give up
their sovereignty and come under Catholic government authority? The countries
that are linked to the United Nations must also give up their sovereignty under
the command of this world power.
The countries in Africa united to
the African Union also will be overruled by the laws of this union. In this way
we see that the countries in the world are linked together. The Bible's end-time
prophecies tell us that the world powers will unite just before Jesus Christ,
the Savior of the world, comes again.
The distinguishing characteristics
of the different denominations are today being worn down, and the Protestant
denominations are being split up and torn apart from within, by infiltration
and liberal currents. When this takes place and discontentment is created,
unity will be appealing. The various Protestant denominations will first form
an ecumenical unity, and this apostate Protestant block will later join with
the Catholic Church.
The unity will be based upon
Catholic principles, as it is Catholic powers that stand behind the unifying
endeavors.
This has been their special task
since the second Vatican Council (1962-65). This is the development we see
today. We see this through the Poorvoo Treaty, the Joint Declaration, and
others. On June 2nd 2002, an ecumenical service was held in St
George's Chapel, Windsor, to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth
ll. The press reports showed her Majesty presiding over the signing of a
covenant by four of the major protestant religions in England to express their
unity, and their desire to work towards unity with the Roman Catholic Church.
It was summarised on the news as the beginnings of a single Christian community
for Britain.
The
Old Testament is full of the call to Repentance and Obedience.
Did not
the chosen nations of the Eternal reject the Words of the Eternal almost
continually, and they then suffered horrendously time and time again?
Did they
just like us not make the conscious decision to choose death?
Do not
believe me.

Read it
with your own two eyes and then seek the Eternal about it before it is too
late.
Deuteronomy
30:19 I

reality what we prefer is:
Judges
17:6 In

What we should be doing is this and nothing else,

This Rhema simply repeats what Scripture already says.
If we rebel we just have to take the severe consequences.
If you believe
in the Eternal at all, consider this.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of
my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void, but it shall
accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing
whereto I sent it.
The Eternal never changes and He means what He says.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the
LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not
consumed.
No one is smoking anything, but you most certainly
might have been smelling smoke.
