My husband came up with another question too.
Are we supposed to salt the meat we buy at the store before
we cook it to get the blood out?
Or just by seasoning it and cooking it well done does this get rid of the
blood?

The Jews go to great
lengths to try to get rid of every tiny scrap of blood,
whilst at the same time
they would quite happily shed blood.
It is really crazy.
The basic principle is not
draining the blood from an animal and using
it for food. Now Hallal (Muslim), butchers, and kosher butchers
tend to kill their animals
differently, therefore the blood is completely
drained from the animal. I
have a suspicion that sometimes this is not
genuine.
Personally, the most I
would do is soak the meat, chicken or fish in water
and give it a good wash.
Sometimes a rub with a
lime or lemon,
and wash it all off and
that is it. I would then season it and sometimes
marinate it for several
hours and cook it.
I do not believe that the
normal juices out of cooked meat qualifies
as blood. Of course
sometimes you might see some congealed
cooked blood, just scoop
it out, and throw it away.
It is important not to eat
blood as the life is in the blood and diseases
etc can be in the blood.
It is wise to properly
cook meat, and not to eat half cooked meat,
what is referred to over
here as “rare”. That is most unwise.
I have had visitors, and
the wife of the new follower, likes eating
uncooked beef mince. I
politely told her that it was not a good idea.
It is positively
dangerous.
In the case of mince, it
can be washed like any other meat.
If possible you can of
course buy beef and mince it yourself.
It is very difficult to
know what has been used to bulk it out.
It can literally be
anything, including that which you would not eat.
I have to compliment both
you and your husband for asking good questions.
I am sorry that it
sometimes takes me long to respond,

I take this very seriously and pay attention to not
returning to what I
have left.
I believe that verse 21 is referring to wicked people and the
terrible,
are most likely fallen angels.

I assure you that it is physically impossible,
without the empowerment of the
Eternal God.
Attending some Church,
going up to an altar call, or isolating yourself,
in the hope that
somehow it will all be alright, will not do it.
