This is a very important subject.
It is because we blatantly ignore what it tells us,
we have arrived at the end of the age, when all life on
earth
now hangs in the balance.
We are commanded to study, but we
are also told the purpose
of our study, and what we should
study.
(1) Study
to be approved by God
(2) To
understand the word of truth, rather than the lies of men.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew
thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
We are also given the details of not only what we should
study,
but also what the purpose of our study should be.
2 Timothy 3:16 (1) All scripture is given by
inspiration of God,
(2) and is
profitable for doctrine,
(3) for reproof,
(4) for correction,
(5) for instruction
in righteousness:
Why is it so very hard for ‘Christians to actually believe
the Word of God’?
All claim that they do, but the reality is that they do not.
We are told 5 specific reasons for having the Bible in the
first place.
If we cannot grasp these very very clear, and easy to
understand
points, there is no reason whatsoever if pursuing a
‘Christian’,
or any other lifestyle whatsoever.
We might as well all just roll over and die.
Point Number (1) All
scripture is given by inspiration of God,
We are told that All, not some scripture is directly
from the Eternal God.
If your ‘Pastor’, Priest’, or
Minister of any rank or title, tells us differently.
We
should discard the minister, his church, and not the Word of God.
We are not told that ‘Some’ scripture is from God, and the
rest is not.
We are not told that we can ‘Cherry Pick’, our way around the
‘Word of God’, and take out those sections, with which we
agree,
and discard the rest.
We need to be very clear in our own minds, that if we
study the
Word of God, we will find that it soundly condemns the
churches,
and the world at large. We will also find, that it
tells us the fate
of the churches and their ministers.
Do you believe that these false
ministers, want the world to know
their fate?
Of course they do not.
Therefore they do away with the whole of the Old
Testament,
and the book of Revelation, which they tell us is too
difficult
to understand.
This blatantly contradicts what the book of Revelation
states.
The Title of the book is Revelation, not concealing.
Reveleation
1:1 ¶ The
Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave
unto him, to shew unto his
servants things which must shortly come
to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto
his servant John:
We are told that to read this book
or to hear its word carries a blessing,
even if we do not understand it !
We just have to obey that which we
understand.
Reveleation
1:3 ¶ Blessed
is he that readeth, and they that hear
the
words of this prophecy, and keep
those things which are written
therein: for the time is at hand.
When this was written, the only written Word of God in
existence,
is what is called the Old Testament.
Therefore it is very clear, that as far as the author
of the Old Testament,
was concerned, we should accept it as the Immutable ‘Word
of God’.
This is easy to understand as the author of the Old
Testament,
and the New Testament, is the very same ‘Creator God’.
As He does not change, and He is not an imbecile,
we should therefore listen carefully to every single
Word,
that He tells us.
Everyone needs to fully understand, that nowhere are we
told that
we are expected to understand every Word of God.
This is
simply not true.
In fact the very opposite is the case.
We are
called to believe.
There will
always be things that we do not understand.
It is only if
we are God, that we will understand all things,
and such a
day will never happen for all eternity.
If your church told you otherwise, sorry about that.
They
lied to you.
In fact not to believe is sin.
Not to
understand is not a sin.
John
16:9 Of sin, because
they believe not on me;
When Christ spoke the truth, the
people did not believe Him.
John
8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
If we
cannot even believe, then there is zero chance that
we would
understand.
Furthermore meditate on this.
This is what Christ said.
If we do not understand what Moses
wrote, we have absolutely
no chance of understanding what
Christ said !
This is just as true today, as
when Christ said it.
John
5:46 For
had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me:
for he
wrote of me.
John
5:47 But if ye believe
not his writings,
how shall ye believe my words?
If in the future we can understand as God opens our
minds,
that is a bonus.
Daniel did not understand what He wrote.
Many of the Prophets did not understand what they saw,
and wrote.
We are told by the senior apostle Peter, that the
writings of Paul, are
very hard to understand, but many do not accept any of
these things.
Many feel that they understand all things, and as they
are modern,
they can say, and do whatever their hearts desire.
The
reality is that Old Fashioned judgment,
will
soon show them that the exact opposite very shortly.
We feel that by study we will understand all
things.
This is
simply not true.
We are told
that the scripture was given by ‘Inspiration’.
It follows
that it also takes ‘Inspiration’, to understand scripture,
and not just
study, although we are also admonished to study.
If the
Eternal God does not remove the blindness from our eyes,
we will never
understand even the basic messages in His Word.
We cannot call anyone.
We cannot convert anyone.

6:44 No man can come to
me, except the Father
which
hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Our free will
entitles to do and say anything at all that we desire.
It does not
even have to be true.
However,
there are consequences for every word and deed.
We are
primarily called to believe, and that is to have Faith,
whether we
understand or not.
Some say I
will not believe unless I understand.
Is this
something that you can eplain, how it happens,
or is it
something that you can believe.
Mark
11:23 For verily I say unto you, That
whosoever shall say
unto this
mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;
and shall
not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which he
saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Can you understand how the sick
are healed and the dead raised,
in our day and age?
The reality
is that we understand almost nothing of the physical
earth on
which we live, therefore how can we understand spiritual
things.
We cannot even
believe earthly things, much less understand them.
John
3:12 If I have told you earthly things,
and ye believe not,
how shall ye
believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
The net result is that professing
ourselves to be wise we have
become fools.
Romans
1:22 Professing
themselves to be wise, they became fools,
The Eternal God tells us that He
has chosen the ‘nobody’s of the world,
to confound the mighty.
Very few of the wise, mighty and
noble are called.
1
Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren,
how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many
mighty,
not many noble, are called:
1
Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world
to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak
things of the world
to confound the things which are mighty;
1
Corinthians 1:28 And base things of the world, and things
which
are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which
are not,
to bring to nought things that are:
1
Corinthians 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
Point Number (2) and is
profitable for doctrine,
We are then told the reasons for Word of God.
It is for doctrine, which profits, not doctrine that is
unprofitable.
Sadly most ministers and churches try to use false
doctrine
to gain financial ‘profit’, but that is not what the
verse means.
We are not told to pursue the ideas of various loonies,
to get our multitude of teaching, which contradict the
Word of God.
We are told that the undistorted, pure Word of God
should be our guide.
Anyone messing with the Word of God in any way
whatosever,
is anti-Christ, and bound for the lake of fire.
As is
always the case, you have to choose.
Revelation
22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the
words
of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things,
God shall add unto him the plagues
that are written in this book:
Revelation
22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words
of the
book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out
of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which
are written in this book.
If your ‘Pastor’, Priest’, or
Minister of any rank or title, tells us differently.
We

Point Number (3) for
reproof,
This is a very big problem for the minsters and their
churches,
so they choose to decide for themselves what to accept,
and
what to reject from the ‘Word of God’.
The fact is that whether you read the Old Teastament or
the
New Testament, the message is exactly the same,
from our Eternal God.
We are
in rebellion against The Word of God, and His Will.
That is
reproof.
Consider it as if you did your school homework, or
exam,
and your work was given and ‘X’ rather than a tick.
Point Number (4) for
correction,
Reproof is followed by correction.
Being told that you were wrong is
one thing.
Being told what you should do, In
order to improve, and stop the error,
is another matter, and a very
important one.
If we would only get it in to our
heads that we need to be told,
and that we do not really know,
our lives would improve dramatically.
It is not a sin not to know.
We have been very badly let down
by our teachers.
The Word of God comes to our
rescue, and gives us solutions,
if we decide to obey what is made
known to us.

Point Number (5) for
instruction in righteousness,
Our Eternal God wants us to be
Perfect and Righteous.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father
which is in heaven is perfect.
This is also different from and
way above points.
It requires a completely new and
different lifestyle.
It requires a spiritual dimension,
which can only be found
in the Word of God.
It requires the indwelling of
Christ in an individual.
This teaching, and the method of
implementing this,
is only found in the Word of God.
Ezekiel 36:25 ¶ Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you,
and ye shall be clean: from all
your filthiness, and from all your idols,
will I cleanse you.
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new
spirit will
I put within you: and I will take
away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of
flesh.
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and
cause you to walk
in my statutes, and ye shall keep
my judgments, and do them.
Never ever forget the following.
You are absolutely free to believe
anything that you can imagine.
However, the reality is that the
Word of the Eternal God endures forever,
and there is nothing that any
created being can do to change that.
1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the word which by the
gospel is preached unto you.
In fact heaven, and earth can pass
away, but not the tiniest fraction
of a letter of one word will ever
fail.
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and
earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
