We Should All Be Sighing & Crying, About The
Sad State Of Our World.
Let Us Pray
Our Intention is to post prayer points
by the latest on the Sabbath,
so that they will be available from
Sunday Internationally for the whole week..
Send in your National Prayer Requests in good time for them to be
included.
Our hope is that the selected prayer point
will be part of our prayers,
for that week.
Please try to submit all
requests in good time,
to: pj@peterjamesx.com Thank you. p.j.
Week
commencing 13.02.2011
The focus
this week is
‘The Lord’s Prayer’.
What is commonly referred to as the Lord’s
Prayer is a misnomer.
It is not the Lord’s prayer at all,
but it is Christ’s teaching on how we should
pray.
It is the outline of points that we should
consider when we pray.
This is the instruction.
Matthew 6:6 But
thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy
Father which
is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in
secret shall reward
thee openly.
Matthew 6:7 But
when ye pray, use not vain repetitions,
as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard
for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:8 Be
not ye therefore like unto them:
for your Father knoweth what things ye have
need of,
before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:9 ¶
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be
thy name.
Matthew 6:10 Thy
kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in
heaven.
Matthew 6:11 Give
us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12 And
forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:13 And
lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For
thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever. Amen.
Matthew 6:14 For
if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:15 But
if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses.
Christ starts His instruction by saying that prayer is not
supposed to be a public show. Of course there are occasions
when one has to pray in public, but it needs to be a genuinely
humble request to the Eternal God.
It is not a race, where one is rewarded for finishing first.
Matthew 6:6 But
thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy
Father which
is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in
secret shall reward
thee openly.
Most people, who say this prayer, think of it as a ritual.
Once the words are spoken, they feel that they can move
on to other things.
We are precisely warned against vain repetitions.
Therefore to do it is wrong.
Prayers done in such a manner will never be answered.
Matthew 6:7 But
when ye pray, use not vain repetitions,
as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard
for their much speaking.
We delight in constantly asking the Eternal
God for things,
all sorts of things for ‘Me’.
This can be expanded to Me, My Family and my Friends.
The Eternal God wants us to consider those who are less
fortunate than ourselves, the children who are abducted,
and being tortured in many ways. The innocent people,
who suffer the same fate, the widows and orphans,
and on and on. There is a bigger world than just
the world of ‘self’. We
are addressing some of these
issues in the weekly prayer points.
We do not consider, that Christ has already
told us,
that He knows what we need even before we ask
Him.
Matthew 6:8 Be not ye
therefore like unto them:
for your Father knoweth what things ye have
need of,
before ye ask him.
It does not mean that we should not ask,
but it is that often our focus, and our motivation is wrong.
The apostle James explains why our prayers are not answered.
James tells us that we are lusting, and our prayers are attempts
to satisfy our lusts.
James 4:1 ¶ From
whence come wars and fightings
among you? come they not hence, even of your
lusts that war
in your members?
James 4:2 Ye
lust, and have not:
ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot
obtain:
ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye
ask not.
James 4:3 Ye
ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss,
that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
I get many requests for prayer, many from people who are sick.
Their view is that as I am a servant of the Eternal God,
I can pray for them, He will hear and heal them, and they can
carry on in their wrong lifestyle as before.
I do not get involved in such activities.
Let us say that you are a smoker, and you have no intention
of giving up. The doctor says, “ you have ‘cancer’”.
To think that I can pray it away is nonsense, and very wrong.
If you are determined to make the necessary changes,
I am happy to help. Now I simply tell people to go to their
pastor, minister or priest, and let him deal with it,
which of course he cannot.
Matthew 6:9 ¶
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Point 1. Our Father ‘which’ art in heaven,
Video: There is A God In Heaven
I have always hated the word ‘which’, as in my mind
it makes the Eternal God a thing, and not a very real Spiritual
Being.
It is better to say, ‘Our
Father in Heaven’, as some bible versions do.
As I am always saying, we need to understand that the Eternal
God
is not in our top pocket, just waiting to fulfil our every lust,
so that we take Him out, dust Him off, make our request,
and expect immediate fulfilment .
We then put Him back into our pocket until the next time.
Note that we are clearly told to pray to Our Father,
not our Mother, not to
the Virgin Mary, not to dead Saints,
not to anything nor to anyone else.
If you break this command you are committing idolatry,
and it is sin.
Document: Idolatry
You might not realise it, but you can worship devils,
and many do.
1 Corinthians 10:20 But I say, that the things which
the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils,
and not to God: and I would not that ye
should have
fellowship with devils.
1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord,
and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers
of the Lord’s table, and of the table of
devils.
If you are breaking this commandment,
your life is probably going from one crisis to another.
As I explain later, the Eternal God is not the God of the dead,
but of the living.
The dead cannot help you.
It is living believers whom the bible calls ‘Saints’,
not dead people.

Are Saints ?
There are no human beings in heaven, not one,
except the God-Man, Christ.
These documents and videos will make it clear to you.

Video: Do You Have An
Immortal Soul ? Notes Immortal Soul
The Eternal God answers our prayers at the time of His choosing,
not ours, but if you are not praying to Him,
you will never get an answer from Him, it is just common sense.
Point 2. Hallowed be thy name.
Our honour, and respect for the Eternal God must be absolute,
and without any reservations whatsoever.
We must understand that He made all things, and sustains all
things,
and everything that exists, is for His pleasure.
Revelation 4:11 Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory
and honour and power: for thou hast created
all things,
and for thy pleasure they are and were
created.
If you were too busy today to give the Eternal God some pleasure,
then what is the point of your life?
In the book in which your every moment is recorded,
is today going to have a √ tick or
a ‘X’ ?
This book is real.
It is not symbolic.
According to the following verse, the ‘dead’, were judged.
It is therefore best for you to be amongst the living
rather than the dead.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and the books were opened:
and another book was opened, which is the
book of life:
and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written
in the books, according to their works.
The Eternal God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Christ Himself said so three times, here are two of the verses.
The purpose of this website is to help people to seek to have
their names written in the book of life, so that they will not
be considered ‘dead’, and therefore in need of judgment.
Matthew 22:32 I am
the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac,
and the God of Jacob? God is not
the God of the dead,
but of the living.
Luke 20:38 For he is
not a God of the dead, but of the living:
for all live unto him.
Point 3 Matthew
6:10
Thy kingdom come.
Sadly there is little true teaching about the kingdom of God,
therefore even if these words are said,
their meaning is not understood.
Any kingdom has laws and regulations,
otherwise it cannot be a kingdom.
We are praying that the kingdom of the Eternal God,
whose foundation is based on his Laws, Statutes and Judgments,
replaces the Satanic Babylonian System, which rules the world today,
and is based on Satan’s laws, Statutes, and unjust Judgments.
Christ did not say that Satan lied, when he told Him, that the
kingdoms
of the world were under
his control, which exists by permission of the
Eternal God, due to our rebellion.
Now you know how the elite
super rich have gotten their wealth.
Matthew 4: 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high
mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of
the world,
and the glory of them;
Matthew 4: 9 And saith unto him, All these
things will I give thee,
if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
How can we pray for Christ’s Kingdome to occur,
when we have absolutely no idea what it entails?
The answer is we cannot do so.
When Christ returns, all the kingdoms on the earth, will be
completely
removed from the authority of Satan, to Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded;
and there were great voices in heaven,
saying,
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms
of our Lord,
and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Point 4
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
What we, as human beings do, is we say
‘My will be done’,
and let My will be Thy
will.
We then ask that our rebelliousness is acceptable,
as we have done our own will, and not the will of the Eternal
God.
It will never happen.
We have to conform ourselves to the will of the Eternal God,
and not the other way around, as the Vatican and the Talmudic
Jews teach.
There are numerous very clear situations,
which we can see are not the will of the Eternal God.
We can pray for judgment, justice and mercy in these situations.
We can pray that the will of our Basest of men rulers,
fails and that they are hindered in every possible way.
We can pray that unimaginable suffering worldwide,
most often brought about by our countries, ceases.
We can pray that all the lies and dishonesty is exposed.
We can pray against the massive number of overt
and covert murders.
Video: The Killing Fields – The Entire World Is One Large
Killing Field !
We can pray against the gross immorality,
which dominates every society and even more
our own society.
Document:
Sodom: The U.K. – U.S. –
Canada – Australia – Israel Are Worse Than Sodom
We can pray against the government controlled Drugs’ Trade.
The list of things that are not part of the Will of the Eternal
God,
is almost endless.
We can pray against all these things, and others,
which will not exist in the kingdom of the Eternal God.
Some determine precisely what they want, then they not only
pray, but they even fast, to ensure that they get the outcome
which they desire.
The heaven in which the will of the Eternal
God is done,
is not the visible universe, which we see
with our eyes,
and which has been smashed up, but heaven,
which is the dwelling place of the Eternal
God.
As perfection is a requirement of the Eternal
God,
we can be certain that there is absolutely
nothing,
which qualifies as unholy or unrighteous in
His presence.
It is just not possible.
Thus in the New Jerusalem, what we accept
today as normal,
will simply not exist.
Video and Documents: What Is Sin?
Revelation 22:15 For
without are dogs, and sorcerers,
and whoremongers, and murderers, and
idolaters,
and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Revelation 21:8 But
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the
lake which burneth with fire
and brimstone: which is the second death.
Note: The Fearful because they feared Satan
more than the Eternal God.
Unbelievers are atheists.
There are many Abominations, which include:
1 Kings 14:24 And
there were also sodomites in the land:
and they did according to all the
abominations of the nations
which the LORD cast out before the children
of Israel.
Point 5 Matthew
6:11
Give us this day our daily bread.
We should ask and give thanks (which few
do) for our needs,
and blessings, which the Eternal God gives us daily.
We should never take anything for granted.
We should always treat our lives as a vapour,
which is here one moment and gone the next.
If only the pompous, proud and arrogant realised this.
James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapour,
that appeareth for a little time, and then
vanisheth away.
Point 6 Matthew
6:12
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
Most of us have had to endure some most unpleasant situations.
The Eternal God says that we should love our enemies.
Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies,
do good to them which hate you,
To carry out this command we would need the
empowerment
of the Eternal God, as it is quite beyond our
normal
humanity to forgive serious hurt and abuse.
It most definitely does not mean that you have to lie in bed with
those who have done you harm.
As most times these people are not repentant,
you must separate yourselves from them as,
if you sleep with the dogs, you will inevitably wake up with
their fleas.
If you stay in a house where for example, you are being abused,
because we must love our enemies,
it is most likely that you will end up ‘Dead’.
We will only be forgiven as we forgive others.
It is simple and needs no further explanation,
except to say that where you have hurt others,
you need to acknowledge to them what you have done.
Document: Repentance
Point 7 Matthew
6:13
And lead us not into temptation,
We need to ask that we are not tempted by our adversary,
who excels at playing games with our minds.
All sin starts in the mind, with a very subtle thought.
A weakness, a lust, or covetous desire, is sown.
If it does not exist, it is created, and then it is very
carefully nurtured,
until it becomes a full blown sin.
Point 8
but deliver us from evil:
As was stated earlier this world is under Satan’s control,
therefore we have to ask for deliverance from this wicked,
and most evil system, which has a single objective,
our destruction.
You most likely have personal circumstances
which can be added.
Point 9
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever.
The prayer started by acknowledging that the
Eternal God
is in heaven.
It closes by acknowledging three things.
(A) that the kingdom ultimately belongs to Him
forever.
(B) All power also belongs to Him forever.
(C) All glory belongs to Him forever.
Point 10
‘So let it be’
This is what Amen means,
so we are confirming that we would like what
we have just said to take place.
Amen.
This will hopefully make our prayers more
meaningful,
and less repetitious.
So Let Us Pray.
The only way out of this
dilemma is Jesus Christ.
He
is the only way of escape.
We have to be under His Care and
Protection.
Salvation by any other
name or means,
Simply does not exist.
Complete Obedience is required
Praise the Lord.
Come soon
Lord Jesus.
Amen.
