The Holy Bible Is The Immutable Living Word Of The Eternal God.
The Only Bible we Recommend
Is The King James /
A.V. Bible:
Because often The Bible Is Used To Deceive
The Mountain – Discerning & Speaking To The Mountain by Peter James
Most people reading this see themselves as being involved in some sort of
a battle
which profoundly affects their day to day living.
There is always something or someone to oppose.
The rich oppress the poor.
One race despise the other, the list is endless.
Often we tolerate things that we should not, because we do not know any
better.
Sometimes this is made known to us but we do not fully believe
There is one thing from which we all suffer.
It is a lock of discernment.
This shortcoming makes us very ineffective in the warfare which most
accept exists.
Without discernment our very busy lives are filled with frustration and
failure.
This lies hidden behind the false façade, of ‘all is well’,
we will suffer in silence,
which we parade for the world to see.
We might even have made lots of money, and achieved public acclaim, but
deep down in our
inner man we do not know our true position although we clearly sense that
something is very wrong.
We have been cleverly and sneakily hypnotized and we are oblivious to
what is happening
around us in reality.
Although we should know the wiles of the enemy, we are often clueless.
Ephesians
6:11 Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
If we do not recognise the enemy or his common strategies how can we be
effective warriors?
The answer is of course that we cannot be effective.
This means that we spend most of our lives shadow boxing, uselessly
flailing away at the air.
Revelation
3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased
with goods,
and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and
miserable,
and poor, and blind, and naked:
We dealt with the issue of nakedness in the recent document The Garment.
Due to our false perception of ourselves we see ourselves to be in
exactly the opposite situation
to the one which the Eternal declares about us.
We
say
The Eternal says
I am rich, have become wealthy You are poor.
And have need of nothing.
Christ’s evaluation of us goes into detail that we have not even
considered
according to this verse.
All these points cannot be addressed by wealth.
You are poor.
You are miserable.
You are blind.
You are naked.
We can see from this that our discerning of our true condition is
woefully inadequate.
The consequence of this is that we spend all our lives in bondage, in
captivity.
It is for this reason that the Eternal is looking for a people to lead
the poor unfortunates
out of captivity and to be a refuge for these same ones.
We are neither resisting the enemy nor his fiery darts.
James
4:7 Submit yourselves therefore
to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
We are ignorant of the fact that we need to act, and how we ought to act.
Matthew
21:21 . . . If you say to
this mountain, ‘be removed and be cast into the sea’.
It will be done.
I have heard one minister preach and say what a foolish thing to want to
do,
to move a mountain and cast it into the sea.
He just did not understand in the slightest what Christ was saying.
The beginning of the same verse says
“Assuredly, I say to you. ‘If you have faith and do not doubt . . .’”
Faith is a prerequisite of moving the mountain.
It is very possible to have faith and not to doubt,
but if you are blind, you cannot see the mountain in the first place.
If you have not had your eyes opened how can you know that the mountain
was blocking your path and was the cause of your wretchedness, misery,
spiritual bankruptcy,
and your nakedness?
All blindness requires a miracle from the Eternal God to replace
blindness with sight.
Many mistakenly believe that by clever argument they can remove
blindness.
Simple logic says that it will never happen.
You cannot talk a blind man into seeing.
Many of the people that Christ healed were blind.
He did not convince them that they were not really blind.
At least one had been blind from birth.
John
9:32 Since the world
began was it not heard that any man
opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
Having been shown that there is a mountain that is messing up and even
destroying us,
we are clearly told that with total faith, we must not only remove the
mountain
out of the way, but we must cast it into the depths of the sea, so that
it is never seen
again. It is no longer an obstacle and a stumbling block.
It is a fact that the deepest depths in the ocean are deeper than the
tallest mountains.
The Marianas Trench is 36,000 feet below sea
level
which lies east of the Mariana Islands in the western North Pacific Ocean . ...
Mt. Everest, on the border of Nepal and Tibet, China,
is the world's tallest mountain and highest elevation with a peak at 29,035 feet (8850 meters).
We can see that Mount Everest would be covered by almost 7,000 feet of
water
If it was dumped in the Marianas Trench.
We would never see any trace of ot whatsoever in the darkness of the
great depths.
Whatever is the nature of your mountain,
Whatever is the size of your mountain,
it has to be utterly removed and cast into the sea.
Often we are hoping that some great ‘Spiritual One’,
will deal with our personal mountain for us.
Sadly many ministers of all ranks promote themselves to do just this,
as they set themselves up as God’s official mountain movers.
They put themselves between the individual and God.
They become the mediator not Christ.
The result is that the individual does not get the opportunity to grow
and to become a warrior in their own right.
It is highly questionable whether their involvement assisted the person
at all.
Sometimes mountains can be removed all at once.
At other times it might be removed one chunk at a time.
Here a blind man is healed, but this required action by the blind man.
He
also had to wash.
John 9:14 And it was the sabbath day when
Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
John 9:15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had
received his sight.
He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes,
and I washed, and do see.
Here we see the blind healed in stages,
and it also required that the man.
He
also had to look up:
Mark
8:23 And he (Christ) took the blind man
by the hand,
and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him,
he asked him if he saw ought.
Mark
8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as
trees, walking.
Mark
8:25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him
look up:
and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
Here we see a one time act.
But
they had to have faith.
Matthew
9:28 And when he was come into the house, the
blind men came to him:
and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?
They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
Matthew
9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According
to your faith be it unto you.
Matthew
9:30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly
charged them, saying,
See that no man know it.
The song “Climb Every Mountain’ as far as our Christian walk is concerned
totally is wrong.
I have conducted Church choirs singing this piece of Music all over the
UK.
Now I can see that the very concept is wrong.
We are not called to climb every mountain.
We are not called to go around every mountain.
We are not called to go through every mountain.
Instead of talking about our mountain,
it is time start speaking to our mountain, in faith, commanding it to be
removed
and cast into the depths of the sea.
We are called to remove every mountain.
It is only then that we will be operating as the warriors we are called
to be.
When Moses and the nation of Israel were leaving Egypt they were trapped
with Mountains at the side of them, Pharoah and his elite army with his
best
chariots with an army of overwhelming force behind them,
and the Red Sea in front of them.
Apparently trapped, frightened and waiting to die most horribly.
The Eternal said:
Exodus
14:15
Why do you cry to me?
tell the children to go forward.
To the Isralelites there were physical mountains to their sides.
The mountain of an army behind them.
The mountain of the Red Sea in front of them.
It is now high time to speak to our mountains, in faith and to go
forward.
We are then also to encourage all others to follow our example.
I was very interested in a report by David Hathaway, whom I met once.
He produces a little magazine called Prophetic Vision,
and a major evangelistic ministry in Russia.
He is a very sincere and enthusiastic evangelist.
In most of the issues which I have seen he has a double page spread
giving
a selection of the latest crop of miracles with which he has been
involved.
(Bear in mind that he had prayed for hundreds even possibly thousands of
people
and many had been healed.
He had been tested for pneumonia in order to return to Russian
and specifically the Ukraine.
It was found that he did not have pneumonia but cancer.
He did not see that he could effectively serve with half a lung taken
away
and a course of chemotherapy.
He had gone in on the Wednesday and the only question was how much of
his lung they would take away.
Here is a quote from the Autumn 2003 magazine.
My mountain was lung cancer.
This year I have had to move a mountain in my life.
I said, “Lord, how can I go back into Russia and preach and say that You
are a mighty God of miracles who’s got power to do everything,
including healing cancer,
if I have got half of my right lung cut out followed by Chemotherapy?
If you have finished with me, if my ministry is over, then don’t heal me,
because if I can no longer evangelise I might as well die,
I have not other reason to live!
But if you want me to go back into Russia and the Ukraine and finish the
work
you gave me to, then I want You to heal me completely”….
God said to me, “David, you’ve got a
mountain in your life that you’ve got to move
-
and that mountain is
to get that cancer out from your lung.
If you can believe that without and operation you can be completely
healed,
then nothing will be impossible from then on.”
I was reading:
Jeremiah
33:6 “I will bring health
and healing”
Jeremiah
33:20-21 “I will not break my
covenant with David”
Psalm
89:35 “I will not lie to
David”, and “Is anything impossible with God?”
Jeremiah
32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast
made the heaven
and the earth by thy great power and
stretched out arm,
and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Jeremiah
32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of
all flesh:
is there any thing too hard for me?
On Monday I was in hospital, tubes down my lung, looking for cancer
- but God had already given me the answer, I knew it was gone.
The doctors looked at me in amazement and said,
“You have no cancer!”
I didn’t go to a healing evangelist,
I went to the Word of God and God completely healed me - no operation, no treatment –
I only had God and the Bible, and that’s all I needed to confound the
doctors.
They were shocked, they didn’t believe God – but I do,
I believe in a God of power, of miracles.
. . . .My responsibility before God is not only to preach the Gospel,
but to demonstrate the power of our God with authority.
- we have power in the Holy Ghost and we have authority in the Name of
Jesus.
Today God needs preachers who know His power and authority.
I have learnt to receive authority from God and to act in power – why ? –
so that until Jesus comes back I can be witness of the glory of God to a
world
that doesn’t know Him.”
End of Quote.
All I can say to that is Amen and Amen.
Be Humble Repent Listen
To The Eternal God Obey Him.
This is very easy to say, but I assure you that it is
physically impossible without
the empowerment of the Eternal God.
Just going up to some altar call, running
to some church, or isolating yourself
in the hope that somehow it will all go
away, will not do it.
What are you going to do about it before it is too late?
