The Holy Bible Is
The Immutable Living Word Of the Eternal God
We Recommend The

Setting The Captives Free
Another Reason For Suffering
By Peter James from: www.peterjamesx.com
My two most
recent documents, gave a great deal of detail,
why suffering
exists in the world.
They should both
be read, before studying this document.
Beyond Tears Part 2 This document
explains the consequences
of unclean living,
whether it is by eating forbidden food,
or carrying out abominable
forbidden sexual acts.
Beyond Tears explains that rebellion leads to suffering.
This document is
going to show, that additionally there is yet another
angle to
suffering.
When great
difficulties arise, It is common for people to ask, ‘Why
Me’?
Some would blame
the Eternal God, for allowing these things
to happen to
them.
Others would
state or meditate, on all the good things
that they do,
which they feel, should save them from all sorts of suffering.
Others just blame
Satan.
Some go further,
and claim that they are experiencing a ‘Job Trial’,
as they equate
themselves with Job, of the book of Job, in the Old Testament.
From what they
say, and do, it is clear, that these people are in open rebellion,
against the Most
High God, and that they are determined not to repent,
and change, but
to continue in their sin.
This
was the description of Job, by the Eternal God.
Job 1:1
¶ There was a
man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job;
and
that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God,
and eschewed (removed himself from) evil.
In a few more
verses, we are clearly told, that there was none like him
in the whole
earth. When anyone elevates him/herself to this position,
it certainly
confirms how mistaken, and misquided one is.
There are not
many people, whom the Eternal God calls perfect,
but Job was one
such man. He was also a man of integrity,
just as he said
himself, and he feared God,
therefore he was
not in rebellion against Him,
and furthermore
he hated evil.
Job 1:8
And the LORD
said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job,
that
there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man,
one
that feareth God, and escheweth (removed
himself from) evil?
It is almost my
daily experience, that people,
keep making the
same mistakes, but they expect a different result.
This
is completely absurd.
It is like
walking into a fire, but strangely thinking,
that at some point,
they will get a different, or even better result,
than they did
last time, that they walked into a fire.
The reality is
that they will simply just get burned again.
Somehow, they never
learn the lesson.
They prefer their
own choice, which is to remain in rebellion.
As I have
previously discussed the ‘Health and Wealth’
gospel,
has countless
millions firmly in its grasp, although I believe,
that the vast
majority, are neither healthy nor wealthy,
but like winning
the lottery, hope is firmly embedded in their human breast.
Many have their
long list of requests, which is frequently updated,
for the Eternal
God to supply daily.
This
is precisely where the problem lies.
As long as the
Eternal God dutifully supplies their every need.
Such things as,
if I only could
have a partner, who is a little nicer than the one I have,
if I could have a
slightly better job, where I could earn 15 – 20% more,
if I could only
have a slightly bigger, and better house,
and the same applies to the car, that would be
great,
and so the list
goes on.
If
the Eternal God supplied all these things, and more,
would
it make this person any happier ?
The
answer is of course, it will not do so.
If
all your requests were granted,
would
you stop asking for more?
The
answer is of course, you will not do so.
Ecclesiastes
1:8 All things are
full of labour; man cannot utter it:
the eye is not satisfied with seeing,
nor the ear filled with hearing.
As I often say,’Enough is never Enough’.
A one sided
relationship, where only one partner gives,
is a very unhappy
union, and it will eventually fail.
A relationship
based on things, or self centredness,
is a partnership
without a foundation.
The relationship
is not even built on sand.
When times get
even a little rough, or tough,
and it does not
take, even really stormy weather,
to most surely have
a ship wreck.
This is the situation with most human
relationships.
They are associations of tolerance, no more
than that.
Most activities are merely chores,
which are performed purely, and simply as
duties.
In fact in many cases, these people are
in very secure
prisons without bars.
The reality is that this life, is a
meagre, and miserable existence.
What about our
relationship with the Eternal God?
Are we a ‘Cost Centre’, or a ‘Profit
Centre’.
A Cost Centre just makes demands, which are withdrawals,
on his account.
A Profit Centre, puts something into his account on a
regular basis.
In Matthew Chapter 25, we see that Christ expected a
return
on His investment.
I will just select an example,
but you can read the
who report for yourself.
The
more that you are given, the more is expected of you.
The unprofitable
servant was a Cost Centre,
when he should
have been a Profit Centre.
Precisely
what are you?
Matthew
25:14 ¶ For the
kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling
into a far
country, who called his own servants,
and delivered
unto them his goods.
Matthew
25:15 And unto one he
gave five talents, to another two,
and to another
one; to every man according to his several ability;
and straightway
took his journey.
Matthew
25:16 Then he that
had received the five talents went and traded
with the same,
and made them other five talents.
Matthew
25:21 His lord said
unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful
servant: thou
hast been faithful over a few things,
I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew
25:24 Then he which
had received the one talent came and said,
Lord, I knew thee
that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown,
and gathering
where thou hast not strawed:
Matthew
25:25 And I was
afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth:
lo, there thou
hast that is thine.
Matthew
25:26 His lord
answered and said unto him,
Thou wicked and
slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where
I sowed not, and
gather where I have not strawed:
We
can see that whilst we can be in the get mode,
as
a Cost Centre, Christ is expecting a profit from His investment in us.
We
have to be a Profit Centre.
Matthew
25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money
to
the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received
mine
own with usury.
Matthew
25:28 Take therefore
the talent from him, and give it unto him
which hath ten
talents.
Matthew
25:29 For unto every
one that hath shall be given,
and he shall have
abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken
away even that
which he hath.
Matthew
25:30 And cast ye the
unprofitable servant into outer darkness:
there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Are we in this relationship, for what we can get,
and are we, even quoting the bible to justify our get
attitude?
Pope
Francis said:
POPE Francis Warns ANY "Personal
Relationship with Jesus is Dangerous"
(There is a warning on this web page link
that it is dangerous,
I have
looked at it any way, they are trying to keep us away from it.)
With respect, a direct
personal relationship with Christ,
bypassing the countless paedophile priests, of
all ranks,
is
the best possible thing, that you can have.
The reward is eternal life, as opposed to the
alternative death of damnation.
In Satan’s
system, his lackeys consider us, and all of our activities,
as ‘Profit Centres’. Therefore the entire system is
in place
to
make a profit out of us, in every area of life,
even if this means,
killing us in the process, and even then,
when we die,
there is a profit to be made in many ways.
In the Eternal’s
plan, He blesses us on a minute by minute basis, every day,
but the normal human
response is ingratitude, unthankfulness,
and discontent.
There is a severe penalty for ingratitude.
Deuteronomy
28:47 Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God
with
joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
Deuteronomy
28:48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine
enemies which
the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst,
and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put
a yoke of iron
upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
The
Eternal God wants us to be converted, and completely changed,
this
is His major foundational plan for us,
so
that, we will listen to Him, and obey Him, in all things.
So
much so, that listening and obeying,
will
become an intrinsic part of our very being,
regardless of our physical condition.
What is the
method, that is used to teach us, that our obedience,
and this means
our love for Him,
is not dependant
on any physical thing, at all.
It is based on a
direct relationship with Him.
We
are not in this relationship, for what we can get out of it.
This
should not be the case, whether we are speaking about
the
Eternal God, or a fellow human being.
If you are in a get mode, you will not
make it.
It is really that simple.
Our
priority in life should be to have love, and outgoing concern
for our
Creator, and our fellow men, in that order.
If everyone on earth
were to do that,
the whole planet,
would be clothed in a garment of absolute
peace and joy,
and not war, war.
This means, that
whether Christ gives us things,
or takes away things,
such as our health,
and our miniscule
wealth, our love for Him,
is utterly unshakeable.
You will only know that a relationship is absolutely rock
solid,
if it survives through very difficult periods.
It has to be
tested.
Whilst we are looking for an easy pain
free life,
this is what awaits all of us.
We and our works will be tested by fire.
1 Peter
4:12 Beloved, think
it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1
Corinthians 3:13
Every man’s work shall be made manifest:
for the day shall
declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire;
and the fire shall try
every man’s work of what sort it is.
A new boat, or
aircraft has to be fully tested, to its limits,
before it can be
put into use.
A boat which only
sails on a canal, cannot claim to be sea worthy,
until it has
proved, that it can cope with the wild winds and rough seas.
Similarly an
aircraft has countless tests to ensure that it will
perform in bad
weather, or when something goes wrong.
A two engined passenger
aircraft, has to be able to fly fully loaded,
to its
destination or the nearest airport, with only one engine operational,
even if it is
crossing the Atlantic.
In human
relationships, you do not have to take away,
the wealth and/or
the health,
just the threat
of loss of these things, can spell doom for the relationship.
Most times the
relationship will quickly vanish as a mist,
disappears, when
wind makes an appearance,
before the severe
storm actually arrives.
The wonderful
thing about the report regarding Job,
is that he was
unshakeable in his faith,
and he never
sinned with his mouth, as many of us do on a daily basis.
Job
42:7 ¶ And it was
so, that after the LORD had spoken these words
unto Job, the
LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite,
My wrath is
kindled against thee, and against thy two friends:
for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right,
as my servant Job hath.
Job
42:8 Therefore take
unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams,
and go to my
servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering;
and my servant
Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept:
lest I deal with
you after your folly,
in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right,
like my servant Job.
Job’s
problem, was that he did not appreciate, that the empowerment,
which
he had to live the life, which he lived, was not his own,
but it
was a gift from the Eternal God to him.
This is the lesson that Job learned, from his whole
very painful experience.
Can you now see,
that the Eternal God desires, that we fully understand,
that regardless
of our circumstances, we will keep Him happy on His throne,
and we will
happily give Him our love, praise,
honour, glory, thanks,
and pleasure as the great God, that He
is.
The Eternal God
is not learning a thing about us.
It is we, who are
the ones, who are learning about ourselves.
Pain,
suffering and trials, and even sore trials, teach us that,
the
foundation of our relationship, with the Eternal God,
cannot
be based on how He blesses us, but rather on the fact
that
He is God, and we are just the work of His hands.
Some genuine
believers, think and feel,
that as they are
doing their best, to do all that is required,
there is no
reason, why they should not be healhy,
and even wealthy.
They foolishly
reason, that they are being treated unfairly.
Of course this
makes them more righteous than the Eternal God.
This is
blasphemy.
As I said in my
last document Beyond Tears Part 2,
This is how we
look as sinners before the Eternal God.
There is another
important thing to understand from this.
To solve our
selfishness and sinfulness, is beyond our capability
to do so. It is
bigger that us.
We really need to
understand this.
No human being
can resolve this man’s pitiful condition.
Neither can any
man solve his own pitiful condition.
We need to humber
ourselves and accept the sadness of our situation.
Only the Eternal
God can do this.
It is a fact that
in my life, people come into my life, and people go.
Things also come
into my life, and they also go.
Neither of these
events, affect my relationship with our Eternal God.
Regarding the
recent tragedy in France,
where we are told
many people were killed,
there was a big
cry to pray from all over the world.
My question is
precisely for what am I to pray?
We cannot sin
either individually or nationally,
and be
exceedingly wicked, and then when judgment arrives,
we want to pray
our way out of it.
I get many
requests for prayers.
I ask precisely,
for what do you want me to pray?
Sometimes
suffering, and trials are to try to wake up wake up people,
and bring them to their senses.
This will be a
surprise to many, but the Eternal God says that there are
situations, when
people are in rebellion, that we are told that we must
not pray for them.
I believe, that this is because,
He is personally
dealing with these people, and He does not want
us interfering in
His work.
Three times
Jeremiah was told not to pray for the nation.
We can see
whether the prophet Jeremiah or the people, themselves
prayed because of
their rebellion, the Eternal God said that He would not
answer their prayers.
Jeremiah
7:16 ¶ Therefore pray not thou for this
people,
neither lift up
cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me:
for I will not hear thee.
Jeremiah
11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this
people,
neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them
in the time that
they cry unto me for their trouble.
Jeremiah
14:11 Then said the
LORD unto me,
Pray not for this people for their good.
Jeremiah
14:12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry;
and when they
offer burnt offering and an oblation,
I will not accept
them: but I will consume them by the sword,
and by the
famine, and by the pestilence.
Of course we can
make requests to the Eternal God,
but we do not
have to constantly pester Him,
to answer our
prayers immediately.
He requires that
we wait patiently on Him.
If our requests
are beneficial, He will supply our needs,
at the very best
time.
If you
relentlessly ask for something, that will not be beneficial to you,
He might well let
you have it, then what will you do?
Matthew
6:8 Be not ye
therefore like unto them:
for
your Father knoweth what things ye have need of,
before
ye ask him.
The following
verse is very telling.
It is a two part
process.
We have to get
our lives in order and have the right priorities.
Psalms
37:4 (1) Delight thyself also in the
LORD;
and (2) he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Maybe Pope
Francis would like to explain,
how we can
delight the LORD, if we do not have a relationship with the LORD!
Does
he think that by going to his abominable church,
that
we will delight the Eternal God?
My advice is to
seek to delight the Eternal God, in thought, word and deed,
every single day,
this is the purpose of our existence.
Revelation
4:11 Thou art
worthy, O Lord,
to receive glory
and honour and power: for thou hast created all things,
and for thy pleasure they are and were
created.
Amen
