Am I Worthy ?
By Peter James from: www.peterjamesx.com
This is an email, which I received today May 1st 2015.
I hope to also put my response, in the Questions and Answer section
of my website.
“Right now,I'm learning how to use the simple tools,
which God has given to me, to fulfill my ordained path.
I am obeying, learning from mistakes, reading the bible, and getting answers etc.
But thoughts cross my mind, that frustrate me.
They side track me.
I am questioning if I'm good enough, etc etc.
Was a point in time in the learning of your faith,
where you experienced a sort of loneliness?
Or were you just questioning things in general.”
These questions were from a seventeen year old in the U.S.A.
These are excellent, and very important questions, which are problematic,
for millions, and even billions of people.
I know many people, who are genuine Christians, who still struggle with the
main question of ‘Worthiness’.
It is for this reason I decided to write a document, and of course make
it widely available.
First I will deal with myself.
Am I (P.J.) worthy?
The answer is NO, I am not worthy.
Do I know anyone, who is worthy?
The answer is NO.
Can anyone make themselves worthy?
The answer is NO.
Is the Eternal God a respecter of people?
The answer is NO.
Christ said Be ye perfect.
If you were perfect, would you be worthy?
The answer is NO. - Perfection is a gift from our Eternal God.
Does the Eternal God ask you if you are worthy?
The answer is NO.
The above questions answer all the questions about being worthy.
Totally ignore all the Religious Teachers, who try to deceive you,
regardless of their religious persuasion.
The Eternal God meets you where you are,
and not where you think you are, neither where others imagine that you should be.
This is how Christ said that He found Israel,
it would be the very same for all of us.
Ezekiel 16:4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut,
neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all,
nor swaddled at all.
Ezekiel 16:5 None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee,
to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field,
to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
Ezekiel 16:6 ¶ And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood,
I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when
thou wast in thy blood, Live.
So there is no point in being pompous and arrogant is there.
Once I belonged to a church, which knew a lot of intellectual Bible truth.
Sadly their application of what was required, by most of the ministry was,
and still is sadly lacking.
I have the experience, where newcomers were told that their lives
were in such a mess, that they needed to go away, and sort out their lives,
and then they could come back, and the minister, would decide
whether they were ready, that is worthy to attend the meetings.
After they were worthy enough to attend services.
It was not finished yet, then they would have to wait for another period of time,
to see how regular was their attendance, and their giving of tithes,
to see whether they were ready, that is worthy to be baptised.
The job of ministers is to get off their high horses,
and to help people, with their problems.
They are not there to be slave owners, to kill and plunder the flock,
as Ezekiel Chapter 34 clearly shows.
What is certain is that, even before you became a member of the church,
they had powerfully established who was boss, and who was the minion.
You learnt that, you would do what you were told, or else. . .
Of course the bible was used to support this abomination,
just as it is used by almost all churches to do precisely the very same thing.
This is something that the members were not told.
One minister explained, that only the ministers had the Holy Spirit,
obviously because they were all worthy, but the members were not worthy.
They were the elite, to whom we should bow and scrape.
This is a monstrous lie.
This explains two things.
First the church did not understand. who or what the Holy Spirit is.
My discussion with people who were members for 30 years,
claimed that they also did not know, who or what the Holy Spirit is.
Secondly it was a lie, that the ministry could have the Holy Spirit,
which, they did not know who or what it is, but the membership could not.
The reality is that a genuine Believer, becomes a genuine Christian, by the indwelling
of Christ as the Holy Spirit, as I will prove to you a little later,
regardless of what any false ministers might say.
I will now explain in detail.
First of all the word “worthy” appears in the bible 66 times,
and it has various meanings, which are subtly different.
In the context of the above it means, ‘good enough’.
As I explained in a recent document, the word ‘good’, is a quality of the Eternal God,
and no one nor anything else, should be declared to be ‘good’.
This is precisely what Jesus Christ said.
Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good?
none is good, save one, that is, God.
I have used the word ‘good’ here to depict, precisely what is commonly understood.
It would be better to ask Am I perfect?
The answer is NO.
The explanation of ‘good’. is embedded in this document: The Earth in Time and Space.
The reality is that our spiritual condition, is a continual work in progress, until we die.
We strive for perfection, but until our last breath, wisdom decrees,
that we can lead such a life that others admire,
but we have have to always remember, that the standard of ‘True Perfection’,
is a gift from the Eternal God.
This verse says it all.
Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay,
and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
When we listen to all of our basest of men leaders in every field,
you would think that they are the Potter, and even God, Himself.
They are all going to get a most rude awakening.
Even people, who have known me for a long time, think that by much study,
I have the understanding to do what I do, such as writing documents,
and making videos. I keep explaining that this is simply not true.
I am sometimes told, when you have studied some more on a particular subject,
please let me know your findings.
This comment is a wrong one, and it is based on erroneous thinking.
Understanding, is a gift from the Eternal God.
The Word of God is not written to be understood by everyone.
Isaiah 28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept,
precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little;
that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
I have heard top intellectuals state, that the purpose of parables is to clarify
scripture. This is also a blatant lie, regardless of who says it.
Matthew 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him,
Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not;
and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables;
and without a parable spake he not unto them:
Because very few indeed understand what is required, billions are going around making themselves feel good, by doing good works, when the first priority in our lives, is that we should listen to and obey the Eternal God.
When you start to do this, you are embarking on the road to becoming perfect,
but that does not change, what I said above in the slightest.
When you repent, which is not just saying some magic words,
as many would have you believe.
First you have to acknowledge that you are a sinner,
and then you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
Then and only then, can you start on the real road to perfection.
Repentance means, that you literally change from going down the countless
wide, and easy to walk roads, to the straight and narrow road.
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I know many people, who understand that the laws of God, are in force today.
Very few of these people realise, that there was never a time,
when the laws of God were not in operation.
If any law was not immutable, the whole entire creation,
would cease to exist in an instant.
It is now easy to see that if the laws exist and that they have to be obeyed,
and we are commanded to become perfect,
some system has to exist for this to be achieved.
This is absolutely correct.
It is not going to church meetings on Saturday/Sunday, Bible studies,
tithing, and offerings, it is not even been baptised, by being immersed in water.
Are you surprised by this?
Repentance is a gift from the Eternal God.
Are you beginning to get the idea, that we can do very little,
in regard to what is required of us?
I can go further, there are people, who are absolutely sincere, and try to obey
the Eternal God, but in reality they fail to do so.
Let me explain what actually happens, when you accept Christ as your Saviour,
and repent. Yes we should get baptised, when we make our commitment to Christ,
but it is only a symbol of what takes place in Eternity, the environment,
in which the Eternal God lives.
I will digress for a moment, I have people who accept what I say in various parts
of the world. Have I baptised any of them? No.
I have neither the resources, in man power, nor financial means to do this.
You might ask, but surely anyone can immerse someone in water,
of course anyone can do that.
My question is, but who can then lay their hands on the person,
so that they receive Christ as the Holy Spirit.
Before you can be used to pass on the Holy Spirit,
you have to have the Holy Spirit yourself.
I know of nobody in these places across the world,
but it does not matter at all..
The good news is that the Eternal God has already taken care of that.
When the time appointed time, for these people to be baptised arrives,
they will be baptised.
This is what happens in Eternity, when you repent and accept Christ as your Saviour.
This is absolutely wonderful, and we do not have to worry about our pervert, pastors,
As the Eternal God is not a respecter of persons.
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said,
Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Often I will tell people about my experiences, not to brag,
but rather to tell them, that the Eternal God will treat you in the very same manner.
It is worth reading the other verses, which I have not quoted.
It applies to all mankind, and not just the nations of Biblical Israel,
We need to be clear about who is saying this.
Ezekiel 36:22 . . . Thus saith the Lord GOD. . .
Seven times you read the Lord God, says ‘will I, and I will’.
Here are the seven points.
Ezekiel 36:25 ¶
(1) Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness, and from all your idols,
(2) will I cleanse you.
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also
(3) will I give you, and a new spirit
(4) will I put within you:
(5) and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
(6) and I will give you an heart of flesh.
(7) And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Your contribution is to listen.
I am saying this daily like a stuck record, to any and everyone.
Did you notice that I did not say obey?
The reason is that even obeying is a gift.
It is point number 7.
It is only from the time that Christ comes, and dwells in us as the Holy Spirit,
that we will be equipped from that moment to obey.
From that very instant,
you have Christ dwelling in you to cause you to obey,
absolutely everything that Christ requires from us.
From this point on, your contribution is to listen and to obey.
I am not suggesting that you will be perfect.
What I am saying is, that you have started to walk down the life long road,
to perfection. I am also not saying that it is easy.
You can have a humble, teachable, and thankful attitude,
these are excellent attributes, but they do not make you ‘worthy’
You have a lot of unlearning to do, and many new things to learn.
It is a complete turn around of your life, in more ways than you can imagine.
Calling and Converting others is not our business, it is God’s business.
This is why you cannot convert anyone, including yourself.
This is why you cannot convert family or friends.
The Eternal God loves them more than you could ever do.
Your lifestyle will say a great deal more,
than the words, which you might try to preach.
In fact, the words of many pastors, priests, and our basest of men leaders
in all walks of life, are totally contradicted by their lifestyles.
This of course makes them false and abominations.
The more religious that a person is, the more that they will have to unlearn,
This is another way of saying, that their pride is going to take a beating,
until it is ground down, so very fine, that it is completely blown away.
The apostle Paul was a Pharisee of the Pharisees, a top man.
Acts 26:5 Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify,
that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
I would even say that He was a Talmudic Jew, as He was quite
happy to assist in the killing of Christians.
It took him 3 years of unlearning, and learning before he could associate
with the other apostles. Synagogue of Satan
Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb,
and called me by his grace,
Galatians 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen;
immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Galatians 1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me;
but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
Galatians 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter,
and abode with him fifteen days.
Pride, ego, vanity, and exceptionalism, all have to be eliminated.
Most people like to show their importance.
Do not let your little bit of learning be your undoing.
It has done this to very many people.
Many years ago, the legal secretary of the company for which I worked
attended a board meeting. At that time, and afterwards,
I was responsible for the computer system.
The secretary, told the assembled people, what the computer system did.
Some people in the meeting told him, that what he was saying was incorrect.
So he stormed out, and came to me, and asked me to come and confirm
in the meeting, what he had said.
I said what did you say?
He told me, and I calmly said to him, you were wrong, they were right.
He had to slink back into the meeting alone, and admit his error.
Satan knows a great deal about you, as he has you watched 24 hours a day,
every day, however, he does not know everything.
He knows your weaknesses, and your fears, and he will use those against you,
as long as these qualities exist.
He will focus on your doubts and fears, to make you feel unworthy, and useless.
Therefore when you get negative thoughts, they will be from him.
The Eternal God, knows a great deal more about you than Satan does.
He made your spirit before He created the universe.
He knows your thoughts, even before you have them.
Satan had his thoughts about Job.
He told the Eternal God, that Job would easily rebel against Him,
if He took away his health, wealth, and family, but He was very wrong.
None of these things shook Job’s faith in the Eternal God, in the slightest.
The result was that the Eternal knew Job, much better than Satan did.
Whenever you get an accusative or a negative thought,
you can be 100% certain that it is not from our Eternal God.
Satan is the source of negative thoughts and accusations.
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation,
and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down,
which accused them before our God day and night.
Therefore accusative and negative thoughts have to rejected
in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the authority of His blood.
I mean every single time, and not some times, otherwise these attacks
using our thoughts, will multiply like weeds, and they will be exceedingly
difficult, and can even be almost impossible to dislodge.
The Eternal God can say things such as:
P.J. is what you are doing a good idea? is it wise?
There is neither an accusation, or negativity about the question.
The very question tells us that it is not a good idea,
and we should stop what we are trying to do.
Satan tried to make Christ doubt whom He was.
Note the word if. What Satan means is, you are not worthy,
otherwise you would do what I am asking you to do.
He was trying to put Jesus into a lose, lose situation.
Regardless of what He did He would be wrong.
Christ did not argue with him, neither did he do what Satan told Him to do.
He quoted the Word of God to him.
Regardless of what Satan said,
Christ just could not take any request at all from Satan.
We have to do precisely the same.
Luke 4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil.
And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended,
he afterward hungered.
Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
command this stone that it be made bread.
Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written,
That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Note the word if, again, but this time having sown the seed of doubt,
Satan then proceeded to tell Jesus to be presumptious.
Christ did the very same thing again. He quoted the Word of God to Him.
Christ could easily have done these things,
but He, and neither must we take orders from Satan.
Luke 4:9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple,
and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
Luke 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Luke 4:11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash
thy foot against a stone.
Luke 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said,
Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation,
he departed from him for a season.
As converted people, and servants of the Eternal God,
we must all listen to and obey Him, at all times, morning, noon, and night,
What I do is a very lonely job, but it does not bother me in the slightest.
I do not look to people for my strength, nor my encouragement.
Christ the Eternal God, is the source of all that I do.
Think of it like this.
Let us say that you have an empty bottle,
and you fill it with 5% of oil, which represents true believers,
and the other 95%, you fill with water, which represents non-believers,
and you shake it for a couple of minutes.
You end up with a sort of emulsion.
This is exactly how believers are, in the world, completely mixed in the world.
For this reason we are told to be separate.
Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean
thing; (It can be a person or a thing) and I will receive
This percentage mix does not represent reality.
True believers are a fraction of 5%.
The point is, that if you now leave the bottle for a few hours, and go back,
you will find the oil floating on top of the water.
This gives an idea of how easy it is to see that true believers,
just will not fit in with the world around them, althought they can be pleasant,
and helpful, they will always be regarded as strange, and peculiar.
They will float to the top, just like cream on milk.
Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
It cannot be any other way, as Christ will not mix with the children of darkness.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation,
a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Light always destroys darkness.
When you turn on a light, darkness immediately disappears.
You do not have to say a single thing.
It is an easily observable fact.
Our presence alone can disturb people.
If we are leading a godly life, it embarasses all those who are not doing so.
It is a matter of Christ dwelling in us as the Holy Spirit,
and the spirit of Satan controlling the other people.
Not a single word needs to be spoken.
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him,
and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
My experience might be very different to others,
but in my childhood. I liked company, but I also liked my own company.
Neither situation bothered me.
I was reading the bible from around 6 years old or so.
I still have the very ancient King James English bible, which is in Old English.
I read extensively, and asked many questions, some of which the adults around
me could not answer, so I did not have a mentor.
At 9 years old, I could sit an play the piano for a couple of hours,
without having to be told to practice, and I quite enjoyed it.
The next afternoon, I could go to the park and play a game of football,
or cricket according to the season, and I would enjoy it.
The next day I could go fishing on the coast, if I had a friend who could come,
that was fine, if not it was fine, I would go on my own.
Furthermore I would enjoy it, even if I did not catch any fish.
Television did not exist in my childhood, and if it did we would never have
been able to afford one anyway.
I am not a T.V. fan, therefore I very rarely watch it at all.
From a very young age I had learnt this very important principle.
Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned,
in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
This has been one of the main foundation stones of my life.
When people promise, and they do not deliver.
I do not worry.
It happens all the time.
I just get on with my life.
I can go further.
It is my sad experience, but a fact none the less, that most times,
the people, whom I help the most,
they treat me the worst.
My point of view on this, is that the problem is not mine, but theirs.
I do not let what others say, whether it is positive or negative, affect my life,
and very importantly what I do.
People call me all sorts of horrible things.
Some have even said that I am demon possessed.
The fact is that they are speaking about their own condition,
so again it is their problem and not mine.
I try to make a difference every single day, in all the situations,
which come before. Other people can consider me to be an enemy,
but I do not have any enemies.
I hate no one.
I am a problem to many people.
They cannot understand how a coloured man, from an island, which hardly anyone
has ever heard off, can do such an important job as mine.
Some feel that they have more right than I have.
If this is true, it is rather silly, because all they have to do,
is to set up their own website,
or write and publish their own material.
There is just one problem with trying to do what I am doing,
and having the desire to emulate me.
Not that anyone could try to be someone else,
but ask yourself if you are also prepared to pay the price in pain?
As the saying goes, ‘No Pain, No Gain’.
The truth is that we should all be fully satisfied with whatever we have been
appointed and annointed, because we were specifically designed for that purpose.
I was not designed to carry out the tasks of another.
No one would stop anyone who wanted to try to do what I am doing,
and I am certainly not stopping them.
I have some friends, who do translations for me,
but apart from that, I do everything myself, so although I am retired,
I am very busy.
I repeat .
It is the Eternal God who is my health, strength, wisdom, understanding, patience,
love, perspicacity, encouragement.
It is only He, whom I can trust.
I have lived for many decades, therefore I have proved this over and over.
If I have pleased our Eternal God today, so that He says,
“ There is My Son, watch him go”,
I know that I would also have pleased almost all the people,
with whom I had to deal.
Another very critical foundation is the knowledge
that we must reap what we sow.
I have stated this countless times in my documents.
Therefore I never seek revenge, or wish harm on others.
They do a pretty good job themselves, to harm themselves.
They do not need my or the help of anyone else.
I can thoroughly recommend the lifestyle.
