A Refuge From The Storm Isaiah 4

Bearing in mind, that most of the bible is not written in time sequence,

as I have stated many times, and we also must remember,

that the following verse applies:

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;

line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

One book which is in time sequence, is the gospel of Luke.

Luke says that others have written, but the events,

were not in time sequence.

Luke 1:1 ¶ Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order

a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

Luke 1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning

were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;

Luke is saying, that his purpose is to put the book into sequence.

Luke was a physician, and he also wrote the book of Acts,

therefore it is certain, that the book of Acts is also carefully put in order.

Luke 1:3 It seemed good to me also,

having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first,

to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,

The book of Revelation is not in time sequence.

I am saying this, because I believe that Isaiah Chapter 4 is also

not in time sequence.

I am quoting the last three verses of Isaiah Chapter 3

and all the six verses of Isaiah Chapter 4.

Then I will give the explanation.

These are the final verses of Isaiah Chapter 3

Isaiah 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell

there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead

of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding

of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

Isaiah 3:25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

Isaiah 3:26 And her gates shall lament and mourn;

and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

This is the whole of Isaiah Chapter 4

Isaiah 4:1 ¶ And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying,

We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called

by thy name, to take away our reproach.

Isaiah 4:2 ¶ In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

Isaiah 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion,

and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy,

even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Isaiah 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters

of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof

by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isaiah 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion,

and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Isaiah 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

In the Bible, the verses and chapter breaks, are not in the original manuscripts.

These were added by the translators.

I believe that in this situation, it is an unfortunate chapter break,

between Isaiah chapters 3 & 4.

These are the 3 verses from Isaiah Chapter 3.

Isaiah 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell

there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead

of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding

of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

Isaiah 3:25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

Isaiah 3:26 And her gates shall lament and mourn;

and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

The first character denotes the start of a chapter ‘¶ ‘

Isaiah 4:1, and Isaiah 4:2 start with the chapter symbol,

however, the context clearly links Isaiah 4:1,

to the last verse of Isaiah 3:26

So we can move Isaiah 4:1 to be immediately after Isaiah 3:26.

We can then see that it is because of the war, desolation,

and total desperation, that the women,

will be asking men to be called by their names,

as it were, making them their informal wives.

Their names only, were sought to give them some security.

Isaiah 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell

there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead

of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding

of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

Isaiah 4:2 is the conclusion of the matter.

Therefore in time sequence, it should be the last verse in the chapter.

Isaiah 4:2 ¶ In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

At the same time we will make another change,

because it is only after the cleansing by the spirit of judgment and the spirit

of burning, that the area called Israel and Jerusalem will be called holy.

We will therefore also place Isaiah 4:4 before Isaiah 4:3,

in this sequence, because this the way the events will happen.

So this is the result.

I will show the fact that the verses have been moved by highlighting them

dark brown. This shows the resequencing of the verses.

It is important to understand that there are two entirely different Zions,

mentioned.

The first Zion, is mentioned In Isaiah 4:4 and Isaiah 4:3,

it is speaking about the physical area of Jerusalem, in the nation called Israel.

Isaiah 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters

of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof

by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isaiah 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion,

and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy,

even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

The second Zion, is mentioned Isaiah 4:5 and Isaiah 4:6

This is referring to the body of Christ, who have become overcomers.

A tabernacle means that the cloud and fire,

will be like a tent covering us.

Isaiah 4:5 And the LORD will create upon (1) every dwelling place of mount Zion,

and upon (2) her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be (6) a defence.

Isaiah 4:6 And there shall be (5) a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for (3) a place of refuge, and for (4) a covert from storm and from rain.

Isaiah 4:2 ¶ In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

When Christ sets up His Kingdom, and His Rule from Jerusalem,

there will be no need for cloud and smoke by day,

and flaming fire by night.

There will be no need for a ‘covert’, a ‘refuge’, a ‘tabernacle’, and a ‘defence’,

because all the armies of the world will have been destroyed at Armageddon.

Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Revelation 19:11 ¶ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;

and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

There will also be no need for a covering from storm and from rain,

nor a covering from the heat of the sun, nor a flame by night.

Isaiah 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion,

and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Isaiah 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Everywhere, that true believers are, they are the Temple of God,

they are spiritual Zion.

Note it does not say on Mount Zion, nor in mount Zion,

but of mount Zion. The Bank of Scotland, is not only in Scotland,

but also it has branches all over the UK, including the City of London.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

As I have explained the manchild, is taken to the throne,

to be anointed, appointed and empowered, for the work,

which has to be done during the tribulation.

There is no rapture as taught by the churches.

Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations

with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The time of the tribulation, is a very dangerous time, for all humanity,

and the members of the manchild, are going to be given the necessary

protection, in order for them to operate, and carry out the will of Our Eternal God.

We are told that every dwelling place is going to be protected.

Everyone, who is part of the dwelling places, or assemblies,

will only be there by Divine Appointment.

You simply will not have access, to the security of the dwelling places,

nor the assemblies, even if you can see the pillar of cloud, or flame.

Additionally, no weapon of any type whatsoever,

will prevail, against those who are being protected.

‘Her assemblies’, these are not churches, nor just any types of groups.

These assemblies will be the people, who are sent to the manchild,

in order to be cared for.

There will be many people, therefore they are called assemblies.

The provision has to be much greater, because our homes can

only provide very limited support.

We have known for many years, that the members of the manchild,

are scattered all over the world.

They are not a composite body in one place.

We have also know,n that the members of the manchild,

are called to be places of refuge,

and coverts from the coming storms.

It will be just as it was, at the time of the Exodus,

when the nation of Israel was delivered from Egypt.

They had a pillar of fire by night, for light and warmth,

and a cloud by day for shade. Both of these things,

were also very important physical evidence,

that they were the people of God,

and they were under His protection.

They were a warning to their enemies, to beware.

Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud,

to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light;

to go by day and night:

Exodus 13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

This time we are told, that each refuge, that is each dwelling place,

is going to have a pillar of cloud by day, and flaming fire by night.

It is absolutely incredible that Christ is going to be in all of these pillars,

wherever they are, because we are told, that it is the glory of the LORD,

which is going to be our defence.

I repeat, everyone had better wake up,

otherwise they will be amongst those who are weeping and gnashing their teeth.

This is how all the rearranged verses look.

I appreciate that it can be a little difficult to follow this,

as it is not simple.

So this is the final result with minimum details.

Individual protection for each dwelling place and assembly,

for all the members of the Manchild, by cloud and smoke by day,

and a pillar fire by night.

The Lord, himself will be in these pillars as our protection.

This will all be happening whilst Jerusalem, Biblical Israel,

and a little later the nations of the world are being judged,

for their wickedness.

Isaiah 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion,

and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Isaiah 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Isaiah 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters

of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof

by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Jerusalem and the land called Israel will be purified, and made holy,

under Christ, the LORD. The desolation from judgment,

will be transformed into beauty and glory.

Isaiah 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion,

and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy,

even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Isaiah 4:2 ¶ In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
