Why Tribulations For Believers ?

Many are confused about why Believers

have to go through tribulations.

They think, was this not the reason, that we became

believers in the first place, to avoid suffering?

Is it not all supposed to be Peace, Love,

Group Hugs, and flowers in our hair?

Hopefully, you did not become a beliver to avoid suffering.

The reality is that experience tells us, that it most definitely

is not Peace, Love, Group Hugs, and no suffering for everyone.

Just look at the whole world, which is teetering on the edge

of destruction, by several different methods at the same time.

Does that not tell us, that our ways, just do not work,

and if the Eternal God does not intervene,

we are literally doomed ?

This is very real.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days,

no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake,

whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Man likes to think of his rights, rarely does he think about

his responsibilities.

Man has been so dumbed down, it is as if we are all sleep walking.

Does not the oyster suffer in order to produce a ‘Pearl’?

Does not any precious stone require to be carefully cut

and polished, before it becomes truly valuable?

Does not the potter have to work very hard with clay,

beating out all the air, and taking other impurities out of it,

before he can create a beautiful work of art ?

Jeremiah 18:3 Then I went down to the potter‘s house, and, behold,

he wrought a work on the wheels.

Jeremiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred

in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel,

as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Jeremiah 18:6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter?

saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter‘s hand,

so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

What is the purpose of life and the whole creation?

There are two purposes.

First.

Like the whole of creation, we were created to give the Eternal God pleasure.

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour

and power: for thou hast created all things,

and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

The very first problem, which we encounter is that we are told that,

we did not create God, in our image, and in our likeness.

None the less this is what those who bother to think about God,

have done.

They have created a God, whom they expect to give them any,

and everything that they desire, and they expect that these demands

will be instantly produced.

Very few indeed ask, what should I be giving the Eternal God?

What does He require of me?

You will find, that people tend to do almost any, and everything,

except what the Eternal God requires,

especially if it makes them feel good.

This leads to the very obvious question,

are you giving the Eternal God pleasure?

Be assured that when we give the Eternal God pleasure,

He gives us pleasure.

How would we give Him pleasure?

How can we show love to the Eternal God, who inhabits Eternity?

Christ, who was the very same God of the Old Testament, said:

If you love ME, keep my commandments.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The primary lesson from Genesis, right through to the

last book of the Bible, Revelation is that man will learn,

that the Eternal God exists, and that means, that He will be obeyed.

Do you wonder why is this so?

The answer is simple.

It is the only way that works.

This is the lesson of the history fight back to Lucifer,

down to man, and it is the major lesson in the entire bible.

If we could only understand this point.

The Eternal God blesses the just, and the unjust every day.

This is what Christ said.

Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father

which is in heaven: for HE maketh HIS sun to rise on the evil

and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

So even the rebellious atheists,

who utterly reject the Eternal God, is blessed every minute of every day.

We could write a complete book just on the blessings,

especially on the rebellious, proud and arrogant Biblical Israelites,

that is all of the 12 Tribes.

The Eternal God literally gives us, and sustains our lives, absolutely.

If He did not do this for even the tiniest fraction of a second,

all of the creation would cease to exist.

So the above is the background to human life.

In summary, we are created to give the Eternal God pleasure,

by obeying Him.

It is crystal clear that countless blessings, for thousands of years,

had precisely the opposite effect, from that which was intended.

The more man was blessed, the move covetous, greedy, wicked,

rebellious, and violent he became.

Christ took the most drastic action possible, by giving His own life,

to give every person the opportunity to be saved.

The reality is that only the utterly unrepentant wicked,

who have sold themselve to do wickedness, will be lost.

Christ did not shy away from the horrific death, which He suffered.

Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Christ, Himself was no stranger to great tribulation. and suffering.

Before He was crucified this is what happened to Him.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly:

and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood

falling down to the ground.

It is a very sad, but true that it takes a lesson of suffering

to get a man’s attention.

This is the lesson again starting in Genesis, right up to Revelation,

but sometimes even suffering does not work.

Man bluntly refuses to look at himself, and ask

the question what have I done to cause this to happen?

He blames everyone else, except himself.

As the Eternal God tries to get him on the right track,

he will blaspheme and curse Him.

This happens all the time, and it will happen again

during these end times.

Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon

the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness;

and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Revelation 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven

because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Human beings tend to think that life should be free from suffering.

They bluntly refuse to accept, that often they are primarily the cause,

for their own suffering.

The Eternal God uses tribulation, which is another word for suffering,

to do two things.

The first is to wake us up, and to get our attention.

The second and most critical lesson,

is to make us understand that all sin has a very heavy price,

and ultimately it is death, physically and even spiritually,

if there is no repentance.

Fallen Christianity, and the governments,

speak absolute nonsense about punishment.

Their answer is counselling, and other abominations.

Our experience screams at us that all of our ways, just do not work.

Proverbs tells us that we should smack our children.

The governments tell us, that if we smack our children,

they will put us in prison.

The end result is that we have mere children, as seasoned criminals,

and children, giving birth to children.

If we followed these principles, crime would almost disappear,

across the entire world.

The adults, who are running the world today,

are simply yesterday’s rebellious children.

Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child;

but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Proverbs 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child:

for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Proverbs 23:14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod,

and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom:

but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

The New Testament tells us the very same thing, as the Old Testament.

Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth,

and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

As the Eternal God made man,

He knows precisely what is in the heart of man.

It is exactly the opposite of what man thinks about himself.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things,

and desperately wicked: who can know it?

As the incredible blessings, given to man, did not result in

thankfulness, gratitude and obedience, the Eternal God has to resort

to punishment.

As I have explained for a very long time.

The Eternal God will forgive sin,

but nowhere does He say that He will

remove the consequences of sin.

In fact the very opposite is stated.

Even if you sin in ignorance, sin is still sin,

and every one will pay the penalty for their sin.

Sickness arises from abusing the body,

whether we know it or not.

I assure you that this is reality, and not some sort of intellectual

mind game.

Leviticus 5:17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things

which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD;

though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

I have explained that Salvation is a family affair.

The reality is that many in the families of genuine believers,

are in serious rebellion against the Eternal God.

Therefore, they have to go through tribulation,

in order for them to:

First acknowledge that God exists,

Secondly realise that there is always a price to pay for sin.

The ultimate plan of the Eternal God, is that there will be no sin

whatsoever, in His kingdom, which will be set up, with the New Jerusalem,

after the one thousand years of Peace, under the Kingship of Christ,

over the entire earth.

The tribulation, which we all go through is to make 100% certain,

that we would never want to go down the road of sin again,

for all Eternity.

Read this, type it out and put it where you can see it.

Never forget it.

When the Eternal God puts some of your family through tribulation,

be thankful that He is doing this, because He is ensuring,

that they are saved, and not lost for all Eternity.

It might surprise you to learn, that after one thousand years of peace,

Satan will be let loose for a short time.

This once again is because of degenerate man.

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired,

Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit,

and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,

that he should deceive the nations no more,

till the thousand years should be fulfilled:

and after that he must be loosed a little season.

This clearly shows us that basic human nature,

unless it is dealt with by the Eternal God,

will ultimately return to its fallen state,

and will end up being destroyed.

When someone goes through their assigned tribulation,

and repents, this is what happens to them.

Their fallen human spirit is replaced by a new clean

human spirit, which can now accept the Holy Spirit.

This will guarantee that they will never become rebellious

again for all Eternity.

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you,

and a new spirit will I put within you:

and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,

and I will give you an heart of flesh.

The conclusion of the matter,

is when you see members of your family or others,

whom the Eternal God is calling, going through great Tribulation,

instead of complaining, give thanks.

Rejoice.

The Eternal God is creating yet another perfect masterpiece.

Rejoice.
