Breaking All Chains
Setting The Captives Free
The Wages Of Sin
Is Death
By Peter James from: www.peterjamesx.com
When an individual sins, the penalty is death.
When a nation sins, the penalty is the same, death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin
is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.
This has been the position from the time that man was created
and placed in the Garden of Eden right up to today.
The first thing to note that where there is no law, there is no sin.
Therefore in the Garden of Eden, Christ,
who was the Creator, John 1:1,
had to spell out the law and the conseqences of
breaking that law
to Adam and Eve otherwise they would not have sinned.
Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath:
for where no law is, there is no
transgression.

Sin’s Powerful Claim On Your
Life
The false shepherds can say anything that they wish,
because that is the prerogative of anyone who has a mouth,
but the reality is, that the law not only existed at the time
of Adam and Eve, but it was also in force.
Christ, the Creator said that He gave us an example,
so that we would have a pattern to follow.
John 13:15 For I have
given you an example,
that ye should do as I have done
to you.
So what did Christ do on the very first Sabbath?
He rested.
This is the first law, to which we are introduced,
which is totally rejected by mankind.
None the less, it was instituted thousands of years,
before a Jew was even a gleam, in the eye of his
mother.
On the Sabbath, Christ would have gone around the
massive garden
of many, many square miles. They would have been
delighting in the most
wonderful creation of the Great Creator God.
He would have pointed out the marvels of His handiwork.
The Eternal God would have explained to them,
the importance of obedience, and the laws and how they
worked..
They would have been told absolutely everything that
the needed to know.
It was not a matter of playing hide and seek,
and suddenly they would be confronted by laws of which
they had no knowledge.
Genesis 2: 2 And on the
seventh day God ended his work
which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from
all his work which he had made.
Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day,
and sanctified it:
because that in it he had rested
from all his work which
God created and made.
After this first week, there was no question of work,
whatsoever,
for Adam and Eve.
There was only enjoyment and delight, with praise and
thanksgiving,
to their Creator.
We are then introduced to the first ommandment,
which clearly stated the penalty for breaking the
commandment,
which was death.
Genesis 2:16 ¶ And the LORD God commanded the man,
saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil,
thou shalt not eat of it:
for in the day that thou eatest
thereof thou shalt surely die.
So what decision did they make?
Satan who is a murderer and a liar, started his
deception with a lie.
Genesis 3:1 ¶ Now the
serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field
which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman,
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of
the garden? (This was a
lie)
Adam and Eve were at this time accustomed to speaking
to the animals,
and like people today, Eve was quite happy to correct others,
in this case it was the serpent.
I always have people trying to correct me, when they
are in total
ignorance of the subject, that they have chosen to
address.
In spite of what many would have you believe,
Eve did not exagerate.
She told the absolute truth.
The Eternal God did not pull her up for lying,
If she had lied, he would have done so.
The truth is, that we should not associate with sin,
period.
That is what she was saying, not only should we not
eat,
but we should not go anywhere near sin.
Genesis 3:2 And the woman
said unto the serpent,
We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Genesis 3:3 But of the
fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch
it, lest ye die.
Satan tells
his first lie.
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent
said unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely die:
Satan tells
his second lie.
Genesis 3:5 For God doth
know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened,
This matter of becoming gods is not as rare as one
would like
to believe. It was a teaching of the Worldwide Church
of God.
It is a foundational teaching of the Morman Church,
which is called: The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints,
and other pagan religions.
The Mormon church has nothing whatsoever to do with
Jesus Christ,
and they are certainly not saints according to the
Biblical definition.
Satan tells
his third lie.
and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
Eve saw that the tree was good for food and pleasant,
therefore she took what she coveted, and we might even
say
even lusted for. She wanted to become like God.
Genesis 3:6 ¶ And when the
woman saw that the tree was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be
desired to make
one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and
gave also
unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
The result was that their eyes were indeed opened,
though they certainly did not become Gods,
In fact instead of being elevated,
or doing a great thing for mankind as the Mormons
teach,
the result was an enormous disaster.
Having seen their nakedness they made aprons of fig
leaves to cover
their nakedness, of which they were now ashamed.
The Freemasons and Mormons also use cloth aprons,
a direct replica of the fig leaves.
Genesis 3:7 And the eyes of
them both were opened,
and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves
together,
and made themselves aprons.
This sin qualifies as Idolatry.
Adam and Eve chose, of their free will to worship a
‘god’,
other than the one True God, their Creator.
In other words they chose to obey
Satan, rather than the Eternal God.
As they sinned they would now surely die,
“for in the day that thou eatest
thereof thou shalt surely die”.
The document: Sin’s Powerful
Claim On Your Life
explains that Christ’s sacrifice took place in Eternity at
the foundation
of the world, therefore the Eternal death penalty, would not
have
to be enforced immediately, but in time their physical body
would die.
Christ had to explain to Adam and Eve the aweful consequences
of their sin.
They had to understand that blood would have to be shed,
in fact His blood, so that they could have salvation.
He then explained to them that from henceforth,
that they would have to be involved in animal sacrifices,
when they sinned.
This must have been totally traumatic for them,
as up to now they only knew life.
To see something that was alive suddenly dead,
is a most unpleasant experience.
This would remind them that sin, required the shedding of
Christ’s blood.
As Christ is the ultimate High Priest, and sacrificial lamb,
He must have found this
exceedingly painful as it looked forward,
to his sacrifice in space and time thousands of years later.
Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy
brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle and High
Priest of our profession, Christ
Jesus;
Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest
of good things to come,
by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with
hands,
that is to say, not of this building;
This is the procedure for the sin offering
I have highlighted two points.
Leviticus 4:32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering,
he shall bring it a female without blemish.
Leviticus 4:33 And he shall
lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering,
and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill
the burnt offering.
Leviticus 4:34 And the priest
shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger,
and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering,
and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the
altar:
Leviticus 4:35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb
is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings;
and the priest shall burn them upon the altar,
according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD:
and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he
hath committed,
and it shall be forgiven him.
Let us fast forward many years to the time when Cain
was born,
to Adam and Eve.
Genesis 4:1 ¶ And Adam knew
Eve his wife; and she conceived,
and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Later Abel was born
Genesis 4:2 And she again bare
his brother Abel.
Abel kept sheep and Cain grew crops.
And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the
ground.
The time came around for them to make offerings.
Cain brought of the fruit, which he grew.
This might sound very good and acceptable.
The point is that offerings, were ordained to be sacrifices,
and they required the shedding of blood,
Therefore Cain’s offering was totally unacceptable,
regardless of the reason he might give for bringing
fruit.
Genesis 4:3 ¶ And in
process of time it came to pass,
that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto
the LORD.
Abel brought the firstling of his flock.
The requirement of firstling was very specific.
Exodus 13:12 That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD
all that openeth the matrix,
and every firstling that cometh of
a beast which thou hast;
the males shall be the LORD’S.
Numbers 18:17 But
the firstling of a cow, or
the firstling of a sheep, or
the firstling of a goat,
thou shalt not redeem; they are holy:
thou shalt sprinkle their blood
upon the altar,
and shalt burn their fat for an
offering made by fire,
for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
We can see that Abel was carrying out instructions that
would now
have been part of the family tradition, which started
with his parents.
We know that Abel was not making some sort of donation
of a live
animal to anyone. It was a sacrifice to the Eternal
God.
We know this because we are told that he brough of the
‘firstling of his flock’.
Importantly, what is over looked is that we are also
told that he brought
‘the fat thereof of the firstlilng’.
You cannot have the fat of an
animal, without first killing it.
This clearly shows that Abel made
an animal sacrifice.
Genesis 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his
flock
and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect
unto Abel and to his offering:
Genesis 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.
And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Tithes were to be given on all produce.
Leviticus 27:30 And all the
tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land,
or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto
the LORD.
However, only the shedding of blood could represent
Christ’s sacrifice.
It is for this reason that Cain’s sacrifice was
unacceptable.
He did not do what he should have done.
As he was a grower of food, he should have bought or
exchanged
that which he grew for something that was acceptable,
e.g. a lamb,
so that his obedience would please our Eternal God.
As I have already shown that animal sacrifices will be
reinstated,
when Christ sets up His kingdom, and it will continue
on through
the millenium.

Animal Sacrifices & Old Testament Festivals
Will All Be Implemented When Christ Returns
So we
can see that the origin of animal sacrifices,
had
absolutely nothing to do with the Jews or the nations of Biblical Israel.
We
have also seen that neither does the Sabbath.
It is
high time for us to wake up from our slumber,
because
the very same Old Testament, tells us of the very great
tribulation,
which is knocking right now at the doors of Biblical Israel.
It is
very real as you will soon see.
