Understanding Rhema

Many people do not really understand how Rhema works.
They might understand, that it means a direct word/thought,
from the Eternal God.
This is correct, but there is much more to it than that.
Often it can be corrective, and not just informative.
Often it cannot be understood.
You can ask, how can that be?
The reality is that, it was the very same in the bible.
This is what happened to Daniel.
He was told, that he was going to be told, what was going
to happen, at our present end times.
This is what the angel told him.
Daniel 8:19 And he said,
Behold, I will make thee
know
what shall be in the last end of the
indignation:
for at the time appointed the end
shall be.
We are then told about, a series of events, which would occur,
some 2,500 years later.
What did these prophecies mean to Daniel?
The answer is absolutely nothing all.
He understood nothing of what he was told.
Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not:
then said I, O my Lord,
what shall be the end of these things?
As if that were not enough, he was effectively told,
do not worry about it Daniel, you cannot understand it
at this time,
because there is a time lock on it, which is set to be
opened,
at the time of the end.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel:
for the
words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
He was then told, that there was another condition
required,
in order for the prophecy to be understood.
Wisdom was required.
From the context, we can see that wisdom refers to the
opposite
of the wicked, therefore in this case it means the
righteous.
Daniel 12:10 Many shall be
purified, and made white, and tried;
but the wicked shall do wickedly:
and none of the wicked shall
understand;
but the
wise shall understand.
I have had several personal experiences of Rhema,
which took several years, before I could understand what it
meant.
How is that you might ask?
Isaiah 28:10
For precept must be upon
precept,
precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a
little,
and there a little:
It is the same whether it is Rhema or the bible.
Countless times people contact me and say,
‘I have read those verses many, many times, and it is only
now,
that you have explained it, that I understand what it means’.
Everyone needs to understand, that it is precisely the
same for me.
The illumination of a Bible passage, is not because we have
learnt
Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, or done some excellent research.
It is because the Eternal God opens the veil, which is over
our eyes.
If this veil is not removed, we will remain blind until it is
removed.
We can only see to one degree or another,
we can have vails on our eyes.
It is for this reason that the Old Testament can be hard to
understand.
2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded:
for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in
the reading
of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:15 But even unto
this day, when Moses is read,
the vail is upon their heart.
2 Corinthians 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord,
the vail shall be taken away.
Here are two brief examples.
Several years ago our Rhema, told us that two very dear,
but senior citizen believers, would be valiant warriors for
Christ.
As they were both elderly, and actually becoming infirm,
this was a puzzle.
It became even more difficult to understand, when they both
died.
Was the Rhema wrong?
No it was not.
How could they be valiant warriors?
It was that our understanding was lacking at the time.
A few short years later, everything became clear.
Once we understood about ‘The Spirit in Man’,
and ‘Abraham’s Bosom’, it all made perfect sense.
Death was not a barrier,
to becoming part of the warrior Manchild Bride.
