The
Wedding Feast
Some time
ago I attended a wedding to which I had been gratefully invited.
The
ceremony was in St. Paul’s Cathedral, in London.
There are several places in the Cathedral where such events can
take
place. This was permitted as the father of the groom had the
necessary qualifications for this to take place.
As
one would expect it was very well organised in every way.
Everyone was told to make sure that they arrived early.
It
was not possible to ‘gate crash’ the ceremony.
Everyone had to be checked against a register.
It
was a very pleasant occasion.
After the ceremony, the guests were then taken by fine coaches,
to the reception at a luxury hotel in Knightsbridge.
Everything was excellent.
The
guests were given fine quality presents, during the excellent meal.
It
was truly an occasion to remember.
Christ gave an important parable about a soon coming marriage banquet.
He
explained what this Wedding would be like.
There are several references to Christ and His wife,
the warrior, manchild bride, which I have
mentioned in
My document: The Woman, The Man
Child, The Remnant
We are told that
the father of the bridegroom invited many to come
to the wedding
of his son.
This is
referring to the Eternal God, inviting guests to the wedding
of His son Jesus
Christ.
Matthew 22:1 ¶ And Jesus answered and spake unto them again
by parables, and
said,
Matthew 22:2
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king,
which made a
marriage for his son,
The invitation was
given by the servants of the king.
One would think
that such an invitation would be gratefully received,
but this was not
the case at all.
Those invited
simply refused to come.
Matthew 22:3
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden
to the wedding:
and they would not come.
We could expect
that the king would be more than a little annoyed,
that his invitation
was treated with such disdain.
He therefore sent
other servants to explain that all the preparation
for the great
Marriage Feast had been prepared, and no expense
had been spared.
Matthew 22:4
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying,
Tell them which
are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner:
my oxen and my fatlings
are killed, and all things are ready:
come unto the
marriage.
None the less the
excuses poured in, as those invited rudely rejected
the courtesy of the
invitation.
This was not a
layman having a wedding.
This was the king.
Those invited would
be deemed as friends,
they would not be
nameless unknown people.
If Buckingham
Palace sent a personal invitation to you to attend
a royal wedding
would you casually ignore it, and submit a lame response
asking to be
excused?
This is precisely
what those who had been invited did,
when the second set
of servants presented their request.
Matthew 22:5
But they made light of it, and went their ways,
one to his farm,
another to his merchandise:
Those invited, did
not stop there.
They treated them horribly,
and even killed the messengers.
Matthew 22:6
And the remnant took his servants,
and entreated
them spitefully, and slew them.
The king was
obviously a very patient person, because he did not react
to the first rejection,
but he entreated his proposed guests to come
to the Feast, but
now he was furious.
How dare they
abuse, and kill his servants?
Have you any idea
how many people hate me, and literally want
to kill and destroy
me, because of what I am doing.
I assure you that
they are many, but this has been the case
for many years.
As I know whom I
serve, I am not worried in the slightest.
We can see that the
king reacted very strongly against
this final outrage
with deadly force.
I have said for
many years that people have to be very careful
how they deal with
the Eternal God and His servants
Matthew 22:7
But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth:
and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those
murderers,
and burned up their city.
Remember the first
verse is telling us about the ‘kingdom of heaven’.
To send more humans
messengers, they would simply be killed once again
Matthew 22:2
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king,
which made a
marriage for his son,
The king was
determined to have guests at the wedding of his son.
He sent
another set of servants to find guests,
anywhere they could
find them.
As the previous
servants were humans, and they were killed,
this time he sent
angels, who are also his servants.
Mark 1:13
And he was there in
the wilderness forty days,
tempted of Satan; and
was with the wild beasts;
and the angels ministered unto him.
Matthew 13:41
The Son of man shall
send forth his angels,
and they shall gather
out of his kingdom all things that offend,
and them which do
iniquity;
The angels could
not be killed.
The angels were
told that as those who were first invited were not worthy,
they were told to
go anywhere at all, in the highways and the byways,
and find guests for
the wedding feast.
The instruction
this time was very forceful.
It was not just a
matter of dropping an invitation through a letter box,
and moving onto the
next person.
They were forced to
attend the wedding.
Luke 14:23
And the lord said unto the servant,
Go out into the highways
and hedges,
and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Matthew 22:8
Then saith he to his servants,
The wedding is
ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
Matthew 22:9
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many
as ye shall
find, bid to the marriage.
This last set of
servants did precisely what they were told
As many as they
could find they brought to the wedding, with vigour.
They did not just
tell them.
They brought them
to the wedding.
The proof that they could
attend the wedding was the wedding garment,
which the
messengers supplied to the guests whom they brought.
We are then told a
surprising thing.
They brought both bad and good to
the wedding.
This is something
we can easily overlook, but it is very important.
We do not have to
conclude that these were all the worst people
on the planet, but
what we know is they gratefully accepted
the invitation.
They would have been shocked by the invitation.
They quickly worked
out that this was a genuine offer,
that they could not
refuse.
Those who were
first invited had been blessed,
whereas these last
minute invitees had simply survived the rough
and tumble of life.
They grabbed the
opportunity with both hands.
They had no comfort
zone, which was more attractive than the invitation
to the Wedding
Feast.
Mark 10:31
But many that are
first shall be last; and the last first.
They would not be
people whose lives had been contaminated
with ‘The Tree Of
Knowledge’.
They did not have
the baggage that most,
who profess to be
Christians carry around with them.
They were very
different from those, who had had countless time spent
with them in an
attempt to bring them out of ‘Babylon’.
I have to tell you
that I am meeting such people and they are a joy and delight.
The seats were all
full with these guests
from the highways and byways.
Matthew 22:10 So those servants went out into the highways,
and gathered
together all as many as they found, both bad and good:
and the wedding
was furnished with guests.
When the king came
there was someone, who stood out from all the guests.
He was not seated
like the others, and furthermore he was not dressed
in the wedding
garment that had been furnished to all the other seated guests,
by the king’s
servants.
Matthew 22:11
And when the king came in to see the guests,
he saw there a
man which had not on a wedding garment:
The king approached
the guest who, had tried to sneak into the wedding Feast.
He knew when the
Feast was, and he knew the location, but that was not enough.
It is not unlike
the many stories that we hear off in the news,
when someone
publishes on the Internet, the location where a party is taking place,
and hundreds crash
the party, and cause serious damage to the property.
The king demanded
to know, how did you get in, without a wedding garment?
The man was
speechless.
Matthew 22:12
And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither
not having a
wedding garment? And he was speechless.
The king then
ordered his angel messengers to bind him,
take him away from
the wedding feast, and throw him out.
The man would not
believe that this had happened to him, but it had.
Matthew 22:13
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot,
and take him
away, and cast him into outer darkness;
there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.
This man would have
been one who had been called,
because he knew
about the event, but he thought that he could do exactly
what he wanted to
do, when he wanted to do so, and that would be acceptable,
but he was very
wrong indeed.
We have to understand
that this gate crasher, who had been called,
was regarded by the
king as worse than not only the ‘good’,
but also the ‘bad’. This person had to know about
the wedding feast
in order for him
gatecrash.
Thus someone
classified as ‘bad’, replaced an originally invited
guest.
That is what we are
told.
This is a very
sobering realisation.
To understand that
there are some who have little or no knowledge,
compared to those,
who had been called for many years, but the ‘bad’,
were in a far
better position than the unfortunate rejected person.
There are several
reasons for this.
1) Often knowledge leads to our destruction.
1 Corinthians 8:1
Now as touching things offered unto idols,
we know that we all
have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up,
but charity
edifieth.
Genesis 2: 9
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree
that is pleasant to the sight,
and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst
of the garden,
and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil,
thou shalt not eat of
it:
for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou
shalt surely die.
It is my experience
that many hold fast to their knowledge,
totally unaware
that the tree of knowledge is the tree of death.
It is normal for
anyone who has a little knowledge of any subject
to feel themselves
superior.
This is just normal
human conduct.
Most people want to pit
their wits against others in order to show
that they are right and superior to them.
It is rare that a week goes by
when someone has not sent me an email
doing just that.
My response is always
to ignore them.
It is a rare
believer who understands the depravity in the human heart.
Science has now
found that the human heart is more than just a pumping organ,
it has a great deal
to do with our feelings and emotions.
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is
deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked:
who can know it?
I am not trying to
argue with anyone.
I simply tell it
how I understand it, and it is entirely up to everyone
to make the
decisions that they inevitably have to make.
Whether they agree
or disagree does not affect in any way
what I am doing.
I have been
carrying out my commission long before I met most of the people
with whom I have
come into contact, and will continue to do so,
long after they
have gone their own ways.
2) Envy
My Document: Envy The Ruthless Destroyer
People say just who does he think
he is?
I am the very same person
who has helped any and every time that
help was requested, or I felt that
it was needed.
Job 5:2 For wrath
killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
1 Timothy 6:4
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions
and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy,
strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Titus 3:3
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient,
deceived, serving divers lusts and
pleasures, living in malice and envy,
hateful, and hating one another.
James 4:5
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain,
The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to
envy?
3) Pride
Proverbs 11:2
When pride cometh,
then cometh shame:
but with the lowly is wisdom.
Proverbs 13:10
Only by pride
cometh contention:
but with the well advised is
wisdom.
Proverbs 14:3
In the mouth of the
foolish is a rod of pride:
but the lips of the wise shall
preserve them.
Proverbs 16:18
Pride goeth before
destruction,
and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 29:23
A man’s pride shall
bring him low:
but honour shall uphold the
humble in spirit.
4) Ego
Ego and Pride and closely
related.
The common factor is that they are both
utterly destructive qualities.
5) Covetous
2 Timothy 3:2
For men shall be lovers of
their own selves, covetous,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,
unthankful, unholy,
We might not have
realised that Christ says that there are believers,
who, in spite of their fine
clothes are actually naked.
They do not realise that they do
not have on a wedding garment.
The condition of many is clearly
stated.
They cannot see that they are
naked, and they do not know it.
We can clearly see that a wedding garment is an absolute requirement
for the Wedding Feast.
Whether we attend this Feast or
not is entirely up to us
Revelation 3:14 ¶ And unto the angel of the church of the
Laodiceans write;
These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
the
beginning of the creation of God;
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold
nor hot:
I would thou
wert cold or hot.
Revelation
3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Revelation 3:17
Because thou sayest, I am rich,
and
increased with goods, and have need of nothing;
and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable,
and poor,
and blind, and naked:
Revelation 3:18
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire,
that thou
mayest be rich; and white raiment,
that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy
nakedness
do not
appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve,
that thou
mayest see.
Revelation
3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:
be zealous therefore, and repent.
Revelation
3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup
with him, and he with me.
Now we can see the reason that
although many are called,
only few are chosen, and
will attend the Marriage Feast.
Matthew
22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Some say that I am controlling others.
To
these ones please tell me when did I ever control you?
No Controllers and Manipulators
will attend the Wedding Feast,
as these are Satan’s qualities.
Control and Manipulation is one definition of witchcraft.
Control And Manipulation Is Idolatry
It is
literally only a matter of days left to prepare
for the
Wedding Feast.
As always
the decision is yours.
What are
you going to do about it before it is too late?

This is very easy to say, but I assure
you that it is physically impossible,

Just going up to some altar

yourself in the hope that
somehow it will all go away, will not do it.
