Have you ever considered how the various translations of the bible came into existence?

When you consider how many translators there were and how long they took, do you not wonder,

how is it that it took so long to produce such a book, with so many people?

The Old Testament is not really a problem, you could go to the Jews and get the genuine

article without too much trouble.

The real problem seems to be in the New Testament.

As many Christians think that the Old Testament is ‘done away with’,

this is of interest to all Christians.

Consider the Original of the New Testament, as a giant jigsaw puzzle,

which is made up literally of thousands of pieces.

All these pieces have to be assembled into sections.

Each section will be given a name, which is the equivalent of saying Translation 1, Translation 2 etc.

Each translation then has to be compared to the other translations.

What the majority of translations agree on, basically becomes the final document,

which in one instance is called The Majority Text, another is the Textus Receptus,

which mean Received Text. These two are almost identical, and research suggests

that they are the best that is available.

This process takes place for each book of the New Testament.

Eventually an agreement is achieved by all the translators as to the best and most accurate text.

This is decided by careful translation by experts and minute comparison,

with many checks and balances in place.

This is the general concept of how the King James was put together.

As we have shown there are thousands of documents involved, now some few of these documents,

will not match up nicely with the others. It is from these problem translations that

a Minority Text translation was selected. It is from these Minority Texts that Wescott and Hort

compiled the text which is used for the modern corrupt translations of the Bible.

Additionally they then decided to put their slant and personal views into the translation.

You have to bear in mind that these two were Satanists.

This is the translation that the NIV, the Roman Catholics and most of the

New Age translations used to produce their versions of the bible.

The King James Bible

It is for this reason that we can say outright that the King James Version,

which is translated from the Textus Receptus or the Majority Text,

which is almost identical, is by far the most superior bible available today.

Is that how you thought it took place?

You will find that many translations of the bible will openly tell you that they

use the basis of the Westcott and Hort translation to produce their bible.

They fail to tell you that these two men were Satanists.

A third person who had a devastating impact on the translation of the modern bibles is

Philip Schaff - American Standard Version, and Living Bible.

Schaff was another rank liberal, modernist,

and heavily involved in New Age teachings.

The very Word, they produced clearly states you cannot get good fruit from a corrupt tree.

They had an evil agenda.

Although the following is an extensive document, it only touches the surface of how the bible

is used to deceive. Let us look at some of the evidence.

Psalm 12: 6-7 King James

6. The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The NASB and the NIV use the previous verses to completely change the meaning of verse 7.

The King James makes it clear that the Eternal God is speaking about His Word and not people.

Today most Christians believe that it is impossible for them to be deceived.

The reality is that almost to a man each one has already been deceived.

We will show you how this occurs.

Your sincerity is not being questioned.

Unless it is explained, you will never know the reality of what is taking place.

The first question is what do you know about your favourite bible which you study?

Do you believe that well meaning, highly educated scholars with greater understanding,

and study are producing bibles which are more modern and easier to understand,

than the antiquated King James/Authorised Version of the bible?

Do you rest confident with the warning found in Revelation 22:18-19,

not to add to or take away anything from the Word of God.

Is that your security?

Consider the following.

If you carefully consider each verse you will see that it profoundly affects your Christian life.

This is not simply an intellectual exercise.

The overall objective is to demote the Eternal God and to deny that Jesus Christ is part of the Godhead.

The following verse clearly shows this.

King James Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons,

worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

We have to remember that we have been clearly commanded to worship the Eternal God alone.

Several times, in the presence of Holy Angels, men were so filled with awe that they wanted

to worship the visiting angel.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:

I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God:

for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Christ accepted the worship of the mother of Zebedee’s children.

Christ therefore was making a crystal clear statement of whom He was.

It is not surprising that some versions want to leave this fact out.

NIV Matthew 20:20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons

and, kneeling down, asked a favour of him.

NKJV Matthew 20:20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Him with her sons,

kneeling down and asking something from Him.

It is possible to kneel down and yet not to worship.

The word worship is a much more powerful word than the words ‘kneeling down.

This is just one of thousands of instances when the Eternal God, the Lord Jesus Christ,

and the Word of God are seriously down graded and degraded.

Let us look at some main doctrines.

The following doctrines are taught, but are not found in the bible.

How do they affect you? Don’t worry about the denomination headings, If the cap fits wear it.

Yet most of Christianity, Catholic, Protestant, Pentecostal, Evangelical, Baptists,

countless denominations and millions of people practice or observe the following practices,

which are not found commanded anywhere in the bible.

Astrology is acceptable. It gets extensive coverage in all the media worldwide.

Children should not be spanked.

Christmas A Pagan celebration not related to the birth of Jesus Christ.

Church Unity, A World Church where all religions are united, so that peace can prevail.

The many huge inter-faith conferences, the various alliances, like the Evangelical Alliance,

The World Council of churches. If your church is always speaking about maintaining

‘Oneness’ and ‘Unity’, be very careful indeed. This is a great manipulative tool. Nothing must

be done do destroy the ‘Oneness’ without the consent of the ‘Brothers’, even if what you

are saying is absolute truth. This is New Age, ‘Illuminati speak’ for the setting up of the

One World Religion which is well on the way to being born.

Easter A Pagan celebration, not related to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Eat anything your heart desires, the bible says so, or alternatively be a vegetarian.

Is it any wonder that we are plagued with all sorts of diseases, when additionally what we breathe, drink,

and eat is contaminated in one way or another?

God, the God of the Old Testament is a harsh, wicked and spiteful God.

Health and wealth. All Believers should be healthy and wealthy, otherwise some sin is stopping

the blessings which they should be experiencing.

Homosexuality, Gay Clergy, Same Sex Unions, is acceptable

Name it and claim it. Demand wealth health, or anything to come to you, it is your right.

One True Church, Many churches teach that they are the one true church, there is salvation in no other.

Penance, Inflict punishment on yourself to have your sins forgiven, as the sacrifice of Jesus Christ

was not enough. This is gross blasphemy, designed to nullify the tremendous sacrifice of Christ.

Reincarnation, The concept of continually being physically reborn until you reach perfection.

Salvation by works, although most claim that they do not teach that, it is a reality in practice.

Sunday worship, A Pagan celebration, not related to Jesus Christ, as the name declares ‘Sun’ worship.

Sunday is not the Lord’s day and neither was Jesus Christ resurrected on that day.

Satan and his demons – Now that we are saved we do not have to worry about them any longer.

He no longer has any interest in us. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The Rapture, All Believers can expect to escape the Tribulation by being secretly taken to heaven,

if they just hold fast to their chosen church.

Witchcraft in its many guises such as Harry Potter and Narnia, white witchcraft, are acceptable.

The British and American governments recognize Wicca as a Religion and send witches to minister

to their troops in Iraq.

Many large mainline Protestant denominations believe membership in their church is equivalent

to receiving Christ, since they believe the members ‘are Christ’. Even the Dogmatic Constitution

“Lumen Gentuim,” no. 14 from the Second Vatican Council says,

Some doctrines of specific churches.

Roman Catholic doctrines,

Baptism by sprinkling, this is also practiced by many mainstream groups.

Bible the Roman Catholic church produces its own version of the bible.

Confession to a priest who has the power to forgive sins.

You can even be forgiven for sins before you commit them,

if you are acting with the blessings of the church.

Indulgencies, which are ‘works’ which operate like a bank account.

Good deeds’, are credits, and

Sins are debits.

Each has a value.

If your credit account is good, you can go out and sin on the strength of your credit.

Mary worship, Adoration of Mary the eternal virgin, Mother of Christ, who is co-redemptorist.

The reality is that they teach that Mary (Satan really) will crush the serpents head.

From the same site is a picture to prove it.

When you understand who their Mary is, the whole thing becomes absolutely absurd.

With their reasoning there is absolutely no need for Christ to exist at all. His mother is enough.

You can see the contradictions and confusion in what they are saying below.

It is utter nonsense and an outright lie.

Jesus is always a tiny baby or dead on a cross but Mary is a magnificent large merciful mother.

*She shall crush. Ipsa, the woman; so divers of the fathers read this place, conformably to the Latin;

others read it ipsum, viz., the seed. The sense is the same: for it is by her seed, Jesus Christ,

that the woman crushes the serpent's head

Genesis 3:15

Douay Bible

Mass, where the bread and wine are transformed into the literal body and blood of Christ.

If this were true, it means that in reality the membership is practicing cannibalism.

Pope, The pope is above God, who has to do what they tell Him.

Priests also claim to be Christ, thus they are able to abuse the nuns who are married to Christ.

Purgatory, where you can pay and pray to reduce the suffering of the fires which purge

one of sins after one has died. Every one ends up there including Popes.

A great money maker as people can pay to have their dear departed inmates prayed out of that

toasting environment.

Repetitious prayers, like the rosary.

Worshipping idols, pictures and bones and bits and pieces of dead bodies.

Herbert Armstrong’s Worldwide Church of God and still related offshoot churches teach:

Becoming God, We Shall then be God… you are setting out a training to become creator – to become God.

The goal of Christians.

Christ’s Resurrection, His body disappeared at His resurrection. Christ was raised a divine Spirit,

without a physical body.

Death, When a person dies they ‘soul sleep’ until the resurrection.

Dreams and visions are not for today.

Hell is not an “Everlasting” fire.

The concept of hell is part and parcel of folklore…

as a place of punishment.

NIV, WCG promoted the NIV which is the most popular bible worldwide, and is used by countless churches.

Prophecy, WCG gave false dates for Christ’s return, as do Jehovah Witnesses, and Seventh Day Adventists.

Resurrection, When the righteous dead are resurrected they become fully spirit beings.

Spiritual Israel, The Church is Spiritual Israel.

Jehovah Witnesses Teach

Bible, The Bible is God's Word and is truth.

The question is then why do they distort the Word of God in their translation of the bible.

Christ is a created being.

Christ's human life was paid as a ransom for obedient humans

Christ is Michael the archangel.

Christ was raised from the dead as an immortal spirit person

Earth will never be destroyed or depopulated

Hell is mankind's common grave.

Only a little flock of 144,000 go to heaven and rule with Christ

They produce their own bible. The New World Translation.

Since 1926, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania has published more

than 130 million copies of the Bible in 56 languages.

Mormons The Church Of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints

The prophet (The founder Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were Freemasons, and Satanists)

maintained that

"the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth,

and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get

nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book. " (History of the Church, vol. 4, page 461)

· The priesthood authority of God exists in His Church today, just as it did in the original Church.

· The Bible and the Book of Mormon are the word of God.

The Unification Church – The Moonies

This is an exceedingly wealthy church with political strings to the very top of many world governments.

It owns extensive property worldwide and owns the Washington Times newspaper, plus many other media

interests.

Rev. Moon's followers regard him and his wife as "the True Parents of humankind" and hail him as the Messiah.

Moon announced that he would save everyone on Earth as he had saved the souls of even such

murderous dictators as Hitler and Stalin, who he claimed had received 'the Blessing' through him.

Moon said the reformed Hitler and Stalin vouched for him from the spirit world,

calling him 'none other than humanity's Savior, Messiah, Returning Lord and True Parent'.

He also claims that Christ was a failure and he has come to correct the mistakes which he made.

This is a completely blasphemous organization, but many well known American Evangelists swoon at Moon,

and take money from him.

He uses his vast resources to obtain political clout.

Moon's criticism of Jesus also unsettled Stacey. "In the church, it's very anti-Jesus," Stacey said.

"Jesus failed miserably. He died a lonely death. Reverend Moon is the hero that comes

and saves pathetic Jesus. Reverend Moon is better than God. ... That's why I left the Moonies.

Because it started to feel like idolatry. He's promoting idolatry."

He believes in a one world government/church run by his Unification Church, the names says it all.

Belief in Deity

Salvation is achieved through the practices and techniques of Scientology, the ultimate goal of which

is to realize one's true nature as an immortal spirit, a thetan.

a church near you, possibly even your church.

This last item is quite in line with Translator J. B. Phillips suggestions

in his forward to the NASB Interlinear Greek-English New Testament

Each person ….has to try to make his own translation.

According to him we can all make the bible say whatever we would like it to say.

This ties in nicely with “….new ‘International’ versions follow their admitted philosophy of choosing words

which “allow each reader to decide for himself” what a verse means. (New Age Versions Page 220)

You might be saying what a strange even vindictive list, but consider the following and you will see that

all of these groups are critically inked.

Both Protestant and Catholic versions are based on the same Vaticanus minority Greek text.

Most of the above teachings supposedly come from the bible, but they clearly do not.

All the bible versions mentioned above are corrupted translations.

Additionally there are some 400 other ‘New’ translations which are greatly misleading.

These will include the popular Message Bible, Living Bible, New King James,

American Standard Version, New King James, New American Standard Version, etc., etc.

Most of us are aware of the Planned New World order, and the One world religion which

will usher in the Anti-Christ.

You can see that the New World Order is becoming increasingly brazen and open.

The bible is a major tool for making a One World faith that is acceptable to every

religious belief, whether it is Christian or Pagan.

In the bible Words and Phrases are left out, changed or added,

so that a Hindu or Buddhist can quite comfortably read the same bible as the Christian,

and feel completely at home with it.

The King James Bible New Testament Statistics

4. 181,253 Words It is to these figures that the additions and omissions are made.

We can see that:

The Living Bible has added a whopping 17,003 words

The New Century Version has added 11,114 words.

On the other side of the equation the New International Bible has omitted 5219 words

the Revised Standard Version has omitted 6985 words.

The Message has sold over 10 million copies

and has continually ranked among the top five best-selling Bibles.

The Mess contains the "Lord" only 71 times! The "Lord" ranks 1087th among words in

The Mess.

It appears the same number of times as words like "question" or "reputation."

The "Lord" occurs a whopping 7970 times in the KJB -- more than any other noun.

Of the 8,000-plus different words used in the KJB, the "Lord" ranks 14^th

among the most occurrences

(number 13 is the single letter "a"). Only helper words such as "the"; "of"; "in";

"to"; et. al. occur more often.

(Note KJB = KJV as in the rest of the document.

My count of Lord in the King James is 6749. In spite of this difference in counts,

both counts are vastly in excess of 71 of the Message Bible, p.j.)

The phrase "Lord Jesus Christ" or "Lord Jesus" is not in The Mess!

The whole objective is to do away with The Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible, and replace Him

with a counterfeit, the anti-Christ, at the right time.

Therefore this is not a small issue at all, and the countdown is rapidly racing ahead

for the introduction of the anti-Christ.

On the most popular U.K. Radio show, with Millions of listeners, including worldwide,

Sir Terry Wogan’s morning radio show ‘Wake up with Wogan, has a ‘Thought for today’ slot.

There you will hear ‘Christians from various groups’, Catholic Priests, ‘Hindus’, ‘Buddhists’, Muslims,

Salvation Army personnel, and ‘Liberal Jewish Rabbis’ amongst the contributors.

The net result of this is that the concept, that all believers are exactly the same, is promoted.

Which means that there is really no difference, we are all one really.

This is a main message of the distortions which have been put in many of the translations of the bible.

The message is that, A One World faith, is not only a good thing, but it is necessary even essential.

This is simply not true.

Of course this is contrary to the bible as the first attempt at unity was at the tower of Babel

and the Eternal God smashed that attempt.

Genesis 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound

the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon

the face of all the earth.

Salvation is only possible through Jesus Christ.There is no other way.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,

the man Christ Jesus;

We might be able to see that politically, and economically we really do need a strong hand

to intervene to stabilize a continually deteriorating global situation.

We might be under the illusion that there is a long way to go before there is church unity.

The truth is that the world’s religions are already one in their unity of confusion, and their unbelief,

as each does what is right in their own eyes.

Deuteronomy12:8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day,

every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

The bible is used as a major tool to create confusion and to keep the masses in ignorance.

In the average church meeting where bibles are used, there will be many translations of the bible in use.

One problem which speakers face is this.

If the message was prepared from the Authorised Version/King James.

When verses are quoted, if the congregation is using for example the Message bible,

it is quite unlikely that they will be able to understand what the speaker is talking about,

as the Message bible bears no relationship to the King James.

Now, if they heard something and they thought, I did not know that. That was helpful.

By the time they have found and read the same relevant verse in the ‘New’ translation,

the thought which they appreciated has been completely wiped from their mind.

So the New versions can have the effect of an eraser.

It wipes out any truth which might be taught, either immediately or in the process of time.

I have seen this take place. People who believed one thing started reading a ‘modern translation’,

and their beliefs did a 180 degree turn.

Some churches who are very clever have their own bibles.

The Roman Catholics, Mormons, the Jehovah Witnesses, and the Recovery Church,

have their own versions of the bible.

It is quite easy to ensure that in a group every one has the same acceptable bible.

All you have to do is to invite people to do communal bible readings, and you will soon see

that you are left out in the cold, if you are reading from say a King James bible.

You will quickly obtain the necessary bible in order to take part and fit in, as an active

functioning part of the group.

Foot Notes, Margin Notes and Italics:

If the bible is full of footnotes and margin notes,

in reality these are deemed to be just as valid and important as the bible itself.

This is just not true.

Every one believes that their notes in the bible are critically important and ‘inspired’.

This is even more so with copious notes that are already presented in the bible.

The reality is that the Word of God is the Word of God, and footnotes are just that.

They can and often do have a great percentage of error. Even italics, which are added

can change the meaning of the text.

I found it a humbling and sobering experience compiling this document.

I have always treated everything which we present on this website with the utmost seriousness,

I know that I am fully accountable for every word and thought on the site.

We have always acknowledged that we do not know every thing nor do we have all the answers.

The following warning is found in the closing verses of the bible.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,

Does this mean that the many translators of the bible pay any attention to them?

The simple answer is ‘No’.

Can it be possible that the actual Word of God can be a primary tool in the deception of the world,

and even more so Christians?

The simple answer is ‘Yes’.

It does beg the question, do these deceivers have no fear of the Eternal God?

Our objective is to show you that things are not how they appear, and that due to our respect

for those whom we believe are better educated in theology than ourselves, and our innocent trust

in these individuals and groups, we have made ourselves easy and prime targets for deception.

You might never have thought that you were in the position mentioned in the following verses,

because you attend a certain church, or read a certain bible.

When you have studied this document, you will have to think again.

Almost everyone is in the business of lying and therefore deception.

There you were quietly thinking that the nice minister who was quoting Greek and Hebrew,

was telling you the truth. You trusted him as an authority.

Most Christians are under the illusion that the Old Testament has been ‘done away with’,

and no longer applies to them as they are under the New Covenant.

Therefore you can easily get a New Testament bible.

When the ‘Recovery Church’ speaks about bible distribution they are referring to the New Testament.

Most know nothing at all about the Old Testament.

The reason is probably that they feel that it has been done away with, like many other denominations.

The Jews were given the task of preserving the Old Testament for humanity.

Romans 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

Whether you like the Jews or not, the question is did they do a good job in keeping the great

responsibility which they had been given?

The answer is a resounding yes.

They did a superb job.

It is therefore no wonder that there is a great movement to do away with the Old Testament.

The foundation of the New Testament is the Old Testament.

The bible is a composite book you can’t have one without the other.

There are many direct quotations from the Old Testament in the New Testament.

There are also many principles and commandments which originated in the Old Testament,

and are also found in the New.

There are other books mentioned in the bible but they are not included in the bible although

you would naturally expect them to be there.

The book of Jasher is a large book but truly wonderful book.

The book of Enoch is not mentioned in the bible, however, there are many New Testament quotations

Let us now consider the integrity of the various translators of the bible?

Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;

but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

If we have servants who are directly servants of Satan, we can hardly expect

that their objective is obedience to, and worshipping Christ, by what they do.

Let us first look at those who had the task of preserving the Old Testament.

(A) The scribe is expected to be a learned man of impeccable character.

Upon awakening each morning he is required to purify himself by partaking in a ritual bath (mikveh)

and to recite his morning prayers. Only then may he begin his scribal duties.

Before starting his day’s work, the sofer intones the blessing: "I am hereby writing this Sefer Torah for the purpose of proclaiming the sanctity of the Sefer Torah." He will, if at all possible, complete his daily stint with a joyous and optimistic verse.

You can argue that they were pharisaic.

That might well be so, but the end result is that we have an Old Testament of impeccable pedigree.

Even the very materials which the scribe used in this assignment had to be kosher.

The parchment used to make a Torah scroll is prepared from the skin of a kosher animal that has been treated by soaking in limewater and other chemicals, and then scraped free of hair. Quills are made from a kosher fowl, usually a goose or turkey, the latter being preferred because its points last longer.

The ink, which must be pitch black, is prepared in spoonful quantities, so that it is fresh when used, from mixtures of gallnut or tannic acid, gum arabic, copper sulfate, and water. (In ancient times it was made of soot, wax, gum from certain trees, honey, gallnut, and water.)

The scribe wrote in gloved hands to prevent contamination

of the parchment on which he was writing.

Before he started writing he did the following:

The sofer tests his quill by writing the word "Amalek," the name of the traditionally hated foe that had wantonly attacked the Israelites as they made their way across the desert, and whose very name had become anathema to them. The reason for choosing this particular term for the testing of the quill stems from the command in Deuteronomy 25:19, "Timkhah es zakhar Amalek"

— "Thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek." The sofer is now in a position to test his quill and at the same time comply with the scriptural injunction. Once he is satisfied that the quill is in good condition, he crosses out the word with one bold stroke and vigorously scrapes both the stroke and the offending name from the parchment.

(B) Accuracy is paramount. Since the Torah must not vary, even an iota, from its 3,300 year-old model, there are many rules to ensure each Torah is flawless.

The sofer or scribe recites each letter, (And Word) before writing.

When the new scroll is completed, it will be checked again by three other authorities.

Any mistakes -- such as an overly elongated yud or an insufficiently pointed shin

-- must be corrected within 30 days.

The 304,805 letters in a complete Torah are written on parchment made from the skin of a kosher animal.

Kraft uses veal skin, which is light and supple. The Torah must be kosher, he says, because

"it's our instruction book, part of us, and should be something we can literally ingest."

Every step "is crucial," he continues. "Even the person who cures the animal skin in lime must announce

that he is doing it for the sake of the holiness of the Torah."

C) How were the new scrolls verified? An authentic "proof text" was always kept in the Holy Temple

in Jerusalem, against which all other scrolls would be checked. Following the destruction of the Second Temple

in 70 CE, the Sages would periodically perform global checks to weed out any scribal errors.

The regulations which governed the writing of the Torah were very precise.

We can be sure that the keeping of the rest of the Old Testament was just as carefully done.

The words, letters, spaces and sentences were counted.

This is absolutely incredible.

Read and meditate and inwardly digest.

Here are some of the rules for writing.

A Torah Scroll is disqualified if even a single letter is added.

A Torah Scroll is disqualified if even a single letter is deleted.

The scribe must be a learned, pious Jew, who has undergone special training and certification.

All materials (parchment, ink, quill) must conform to strict specifications, and be prepared specifically

for the purpose of writing a Torah Scroll.

The scribe may not write even one letter into a Torah Scroll by heart. Rather, he must have a second,

kosher scroll opened before him at all times.

The scribe must pronounce every word out loud before copying it from the correct text.

Every letter must have sufficient white space surrounding it. If one letter touched another in any spot,

it invalidates the entire scroll.

If a single letter was so marred that it cannot be read at all, or resembles another letter (whether the defect

is in the writing, or is due to a hole, tear or smudge), this invalidates the entire scroll.

Each letter must be sufficiently legible so that even an ordinary schoolchild could distinguish it from other,

similar letters.

The scribe must put precise space between words, so that one word will not look like two words,

or two words look like one word.

The scribe must not alter the design of the sections, and must conform to particular line-lengths

and paragraph configurations.

A Torah Scroll in which any mistake has been found, cannot be used, and must be fixed within 30 days,

or buried.

When I write my documents I also cut and paste directly from the bible.

I do not quote the bible from memory.

This way errors are greatly reduced.

With the Scribes nothing was written from memory.

It had to be copied from a copy that was open in front of him all the time that he was making a copy.

Note that he then had to read out the letter and the word which he was writing before he wrote it.

The Torah has nine spelling variants -- with absolutely no effect on the meaning of the words.

The Christian Bible has over 200,000 variants and in 400 instances the variants change the meaning of the text.

I believe that this refers solely to the New Testament, as this was a comment from the Jewish authorities.

Check a ‘Message Bible’, New Testament against a King James and you will see the truth of what is being said.

One example given of the 9 variants is how the word colour is spelt is it color or colour?

If that was the only thing wrong with the New Testament every thing would be very rosy indeed.

Sadly this is not the case.

Let us now consider these very same things in the New Testament.

The original Greek from which the Authorised Version/King James is translated is called the

Textus Receptus.

Textus Receptus - Defined
The Authorised Version, like all the early Protestant Bibles of countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Holland, France, Spain, Italy etc. was translated from a Text called in the early Reformation days the Received Text (Textus Receptus). Before that time this Text, also known as the Majority Text, was used by the early church in Israel, the Middle East, Asia Minor and Greece. In those lands we see the Almighty preserving His inspired Word as He promised to do. Because of its purity the Received Text was then used by all the early Protestant Reformers of Europe for their translations. Textus Receptus also became the basis of the Authorised Version.

The original translators were authorised by King James to do the translation.

Here are some facts about King James.

He was a virtuous evangelical Christian, who believed God “dictated” the scriptures.

He like “all that will live godly in Christ Jesus,” suffered persecution, including “terrorist attack.

He was a linguist and a scholar and a scholar, who at the tender age of eight,

could translate the Bible from memory into numerous languages.

He chose translators who spent five hours a day in prayer and who stood, when studying

The Holy Bible, out of reverence.

It is clear that the translators were honest reputable men.

Can you wrap your brain around that. He knew the bible by heart at 8 years of age

And he could translate it from memory. That is a God activity.

We should also add that many people died not just because they owned a bible

But because they believed it, period.

When they added words, they put them in Italics so that whether it was right

or wrong, the reader could know that they had done this.

They did seek to be accurate.

After the first printing there were some revisions to correct mainly printing/spelling errors.

We have to remember that printing was a hugely laborious and very difficult process.

The torah was hand written, as production by mechanical means was not allowed.

If you have ever seen an old style type setting operation by hand you will understand.

1. In 1604, King James announced that fifty-four Hebrew and Greek scholars had been appointed to translate a new Bible for English speaking people. The number was reduced

to forty-seven by the time the work formally began in 1607.

2. Rather than working together all at one location, these men were divided into six separate groups, which worked at three separate locations. There were two at Westminster,

two at Oxford, and two at Cambridge.

3. Each group was given a selected portion of Scripture to translate.

4. Each scholar made his own translation of a book, and then passed it on to be reviewed

by each member of his group.

5. The whole group then went over the book together.

6. Once a group had completed a book of the Bible, they sent it to be reviewed by the other five groups.

7. All objectionable and questionable translating was marked and noted, and then it was returned to the original group for consideration.

8. A special committee was formed by selecting one leader from each group.

This committee worked out all of the remaining differences and presented a finished copy for the printers in 1611.

9. This means that the King James Bible had to pass at least FOURTEEN examinations before going to press.

10.Throughout this entire process, any learned individuals of the land could be called upon for their judgment, and the churches were kept informed of the progress.

What can we say about the 400 other translations?

Do they tend to go back to the original Textus Receptus?

Often times not.

I should mention at this time that there is a New Testament translation called the ‘Majority Text’,

which predates the King James and is almost identical to the King James.

It does not seem to be possible to get a copy of this in book form, however,

you can view it at the Majority Text Website or download it as part of Esword.

It is an excellent translation and well worth any effort to obtain it.

I have been unable to do a word count between the various versions of the New Testament.

You only have to take something like The Message bible in your hand and you will easily see

that it is an enormous tome compared to the King James New Testament.

The Jews proudly state how many words and letters are in the Torah.

If we could do that with the various ‘New’ translations of the New Testament we would quickly

be able to see that there are serious problems.

We have already established the authenticity of the Old Testament as provided by the Jews.

What about the integrity of the other translators and translations?

The Roman Catholic church states categorically

that the bible should not be believed as the infallible word of God.

However, of course the pope is infallible. Such utter nonsense.

Facts about Westcott and Hort

Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1901) and Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828-1892) were the two English "scholars" who produced the corrupt Greek text of the modern versions.

Their dominating influence on the revision committee of 1871-1881 accounts for most of the corruption that we have today in modern translations. The Bible believer should keep several points in mind when discussing these two men. The following information is well documented in Final Authority, by William Grady, and in Riplinger's New Age Bible Versions:

1. Together, the Life and Letters of Brooke Foss Westcott and the Life and

Letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort run over 1,800 pages. A personal salvation testimony

is not given once for either man, and the name "Jesus" is found only nine times!

2. Westcott was a firm believer in Mary worship, and Hort claimed that Mary worship had

a lot in common with Jesus worship.

3. Hort believed in keeping Roman Catholic sacraments.

4. Hort believed in baptismal regeneration as taught in the Catholic church.

5. Hort rejected the infallibility of Scripture.

6. Hort took great interest in the works of Charles Darwin, while both he and Westcott

rejected the literal account of Creation.

7. Westcott did not believe in the Second Coming of Christ, the Millennium, or a literal Heaven.

8. Both men rejected the doctrine of a literal Hell, and they supported prayers for the dead

in purgatory.

9. Hort refused to believe in the Trinity.

10. Hort refused to believe in angels.

11. Westcott confessed that he was a communist by nature.

12. Hort confessed that he hated democracy in all its forms.

13. Westcott also did his share of beer drinking. In fact, only twelve years after the Revised Version was published, Westcott was a spokesman for a brewery.

14. While working on their Greek text (1851-1871), and while working on the Revision Committee for the Revised Version (1871-1881), Westcott and Hort were also keeping company with "seducing spirits and doctrines of devils" (I Tim. 4:1). Both men took great interest in occult practices and clubs. They started the Hermes Club in 1845, the Ghostly Guild in 1851, and Hort joined a secret club called The Apostles in the same year. They also started the Eranus Club in 1872. These were spiritualists groups which believed in such unscriptural practices as communicating with the dead (necromancy).

15. The Westcott and Hort Greek text was SECRETLY given to the Revision Committee.

16. The members of the Revision Committee of 1881 were sworn to a pledge of secrecy in regard to the new Greek text being used, and they met in silence for ten years.

17. The corrupt Greek text of Westcott and Hort was not released to the public until just five days before the debut of the Revised Version. This prevented Bible-believing scholars like Dean Burgon from reviewing it and exposing it for the piece of trash that it was.

9. *The Jehovah's Witnesses used Jesuits and Roman Catholic manuscripts

to aid in the translation of the New World Translation.

In Aid to Bible Understanding, Watchtower Bible And Track Society, 1971, pp. 84,85.,

the Jehovah's Witnesses confesses that a catholic monk provided the name Jehovah

to the Jehovah's Witnesses:

We have repeatedly written that the Jehovah witnesses, Mormons and Freemasons

are Satanic organizations.

Joseph Smith, along with Hiram Smith and Brigham Young, were the key figures behind the creation of

the Mormon religion. They were of the elite Illuminati bloodline, the Merovingian or "Holy Grail" line,

and were all high degree Freemasons. They were also Satanists and formed their "church" as a front

for Satanic activity which very much still goes on today. Why wouldn't it, that is what it is there for.

The Mormon empire was funded into existence by the Rothschilds through their Kuhn, Loeb, bank

Now most modern translations are based on Wescott and Hort’s perverted text.

They used a small number of already distorted texts to produce their Greek text.
