Dabbling with Familiar Spirits And Witchcraft
Leviticus 19:30 ¶ Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my
sanctuary:
I am the
LORD.
Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that
have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them:
I am the LORD your God.
People are seduced into becoming involved with Satanic
Powers,
and Principalities, for three main reasons. They are
to obtain Knowledge, Power and Wealth.
Knowledge and or Wealth are
major keys to obtaining power over others.
Seeking fame
might also play a part.
It is worth remembering that when the Eternal God gives someone
knowledge, and a position, the reason is very clearly spelt out.
Luke 22:24 And there was also a strife among them,
which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 And he said unto
them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that
exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is
greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that
doth serve.
We are given positions of authority in order to serve better and not to
lord it over others.
If you are involved in the occult ask yourself why I
am I doing this?
Am I serving others,
or am I actually an unwittingly not only promoting the
kingdom of darkness, but also dispensing death?
Ask the question,
and be honest and answer it.
Face up to the
reality of your situation.
Once ensnared by Satan, it is almost impossible to escape from this
prison, where you are compelled to play by the rules or suffer and even die, unless
the Eternal God intervenes.

Many can stand to lose the wealth, but very few indeed want to give up
the very
real power which they have been given.
The basic concept of controlling others is the bottom line of Satan’s
plan for humanity, therefore it is easy to understand that his servants will always
want to do the very same thing.
This is an abomination to the Eternal God, who has given us a free will
with the command to choose Life rather than death. This all started in the
Garden of Eden where Adam and Eve were told not to eat of the tree of
death. This is found in the first book
of the bible, Genesis. Throughout the
bible there are countless reports of people seeking to control others.
In the last book of the bible,
Revelation, we see the Eternal God condemning Control, and manipulation of
others.
This is what witchcraft in all
its guises is all about.
Note that this witchcraft is found
in the churches !
It is mentioned
in the letter to the church in Ephesus.
Revelation
2:6 But
this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit saith unto the churches;
To him that
overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the
paradise of God.
It is
again mentioned in the letter to the church in Pergamos.
Revelation
2:15 So
hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
The word
Nicolaitans mean conquerer of the people, or laiety. If witchcraft is found in the churches we can be assured that has
permeated throughout the whole of society, which it has.
It is to be found in the governments, business, sport and
entertainment. Dabbling with the powers of darkness, which are evil spirits, that are
fallen angels goes under many names, and it is strictly forbidden in the Word
of God.
The fact is that the spirit world
is real, whether we believe it or not, does not matter.The dead cannot speak to us, but evil spirits who have watched the lives
of every human can, and do masquerade precisely as a deceased person.
They know the most minute details of our lives as they observe us 24
hours
per day. They can appear in any physical shape
that they wish, and it is a very simple thing for them to speak and look
exactly as the deceased person.
Necromancy, speaking to the dead is condemned in the bible. The reason is simply that it is impossible
to do this,. and one opens oneself up to the deception of Evil Spirits who
quickly take up the opportunity to ensnare someone, in the hope that they will
be damned just like they are. What
appears at first incredible will ultimately lead to the outright possession of
the person.
Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among
you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or
that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an
enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 or all that do
these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and
because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from
before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
Every one of the above highlighted items is directly dealing with the
Satan’s kingdom of darkness, therefore they are forbidden.

Regardless of the names, and the technicalities which some might raise,
dancing with the devil, is dancing with the devil.
To touch Satan’s kingdom in any way whatsoever is to get contaminated,
and will require repentance and prayer for deliverance from this evil.
It is like going into a smoke filled room, the smoke permeates your
clothes, your hair, your skin and even your internal organs, to the extent that
even if you have a shower your skin can still give off the smell of smoke, as
the blood stream tries to deal with the contaminated air which you have inhaled. It pushes the smoke laden cells near
to the skin so that in addition to the lungs they also work to get rid of the
smoke.
It is impossible to serve Satan and God at the same time.
Every single thing that Satan gives us is designed to ultimately kill
us.
We have stated this repeatedly on the website.
Satan can only give what he has to give, and that is death.
It is as simple as that.
The problem is that witchcraft is not packaged like death.
In the Pre-Adamic age, Lucifer packed his preposterous plan so exquisitely
that one third of the angels followed him in rebellion against the most
High God. In the garden of Eden he deceived Eve, by the packaging of his plan
to make them Gods.

Satan’s co-workers are immaculately turned out.
Most times they want for nothing.
Consider the Mormon young men that go around peddling their gospel,
Consider the ministers of the various branches of the Catholic Church,
the Anglican Church, the Orthodox Churches etc., and their fancy
clothes,
Consider the Evangelical ministers in their designer suits, the
Freemasons, etc. etc.To our eyes ,all these peddlers of death might look very
good, but so did the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which was
Satan and death. It appeared to be good for food and desirable.
Genesis
3:6 ¶ And
when the woman saw that the tree was good for
food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to
make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and
gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Of course these merchants of death can also turn up as down and outs,
street traders etc. Where I live, in the open market in the town center,
I have seen a stall which only sells witchcraft material, however,
sometimes this is so subtle you will not even realize the real intent of what
is being sold.

Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is
transformed into an angel of light.

Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his
ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end
shall be according to their works.
Definition
of Familiar Spirit
Sorcerers or
necormancers, who professed to call up the dead to answer questions, were said
to have a “familiar spirit” #De 18:11 #2Ki 21:6 2Ch 33:6 Le 19:31 20:6 Isa 8:19 29:4
Such a person was called by the Hebrews an ’ ob, which properly means a
leathern bottle; for sorcerers were regarded as vessels containing the
inspiring demon.
This Hebrew word
was equivalent to the pytho of the Greeks, and was used
to denote both the
person and the spirit which possessed him
#Le
20:27 1Sa 28:8 comp. #Ac 16:16 The word “familiar” is from the Latin
familiaris,
meaning a “household servant,” and was intended to express the
idea that sorcerers
had spirits as their servants ready to obey their commands.
The bible tells us to utterly avoid all contact with
Satan, however it is disguised.
We are told this for our own good, it is not an
intellectual command, none of the commandments are, though we are misled to
believe that this is the case.
Because we do not
realise that these commands are for our good we needlessly suffer.
For this reason we
are told:
Hosea
4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the
law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Satan has managed
to deceive us into believing that we can pick and choose with what the Eternal
God told us for our good. He tells us
that we do not have to worry with what God Says, so we suffer and die.
Satan offers
wealth, power and fame for those who seek it, but at the price of your soul,
and by this I mean he wants your body, and your spirit. Therefore
Satan told Christ
that he would give him all the kingdoms of the world. Liar that he is, he would
never have done it anyway, but we can see clearly now that if you are prepared
to pay the price, nothing is beyond your grasp, but there is always a cost.
Matthew
4:8 Again,
the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all
the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down
and worship me.
Then saith Jesus
unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord
thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Most want power
and wealth, but the fact is that very few enjoy the wealth.
There is a reason
for this.
There are two
separate gifts.
The first is the
receipt of the wealth and
The second is
enjoying the wealth.
Ecclesiastes
5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth,
and hath
given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice
in his
labour; this is the gift of God.
Ecclesiastes
6:2 A man to whom God hath
given riches,
wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all
that he
desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger
eateth it:
this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
Most get the first
blessing of wealth, but the Eternal withholds the second, the enjoyment of that
wealth from most. The reason this is with held is because of rebellion.
In effect the
blessing becomes a curse.
Malachi
2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart,
to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse
upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do
not lay it to heart.
Fortunately
scripture also says that the Eternal God can turn curses that have been sent
against us into blessings.
Deuteronomy
23:5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto
thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
If wealth is being
with held from you, probably you should regard it as
a blessing from
the Eternal God. Most people who get massive wealth suddenly find their lives
utterly destroyed.
Proverbs
13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that
gathereth by labour shall increase.
Proverbs
23:5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches
certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
Several
commandments in the Old and New Testaments warn us not to get involved in
Satanic practices. We are also told that those who will not forsake their ways
are guaranteed destruction.
Leviticus
20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits,
and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against
that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
Deuteronomy

Isaiah
8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have
familiar
spirits, and
unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people see
unto their
God? for the living to the dead?
Jeremiah
27:9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners,
nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which
speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
Malachi
3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift
witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false
swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the
widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right,
and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
Revelation
21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the
second death.
Revelation
22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and
murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
There is another
reason beyond our immediate self which should concern us, when we are told to
obey the Eternal God.
Our obedience
affects the welfare of our families.
Deuteronomy
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both
thou and thy seed may live:
As we constantly
show there are only two ways of living one leads to life and the other leads to
death.
It is absolutely
clear and a cast iron promise that our choice will affect our children, and
their children, in fact down to the fourth generation.
Numbers
14:18 The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving
iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the
guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the
third and fourth generation.
It is a total lie that we can do what we like
as long as it does not hurt
any one else.
It is simply not
true.
I mentioned a few
groups above, there are many others, some of which are secret, but if you join
them, you will be passing on an inheritance of death to your children and their
descendants.
It is time for us
to consider the big picture and to ask ourselves what am I doing to myself and
my family?
The answer is
clearly given in the closing verse, which commands us to seek God, and not
Satan’s servants.
Isaiah
8:19 And

unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their
God? for the living to the dead?
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus
Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
Praise the
Lord.
