Are You A
Pharisee ? 24/05/2007
Where good food costs you nothing
Do You tend to look down on others who do not do what
you do, and wonder how could that person who has led
such an awful life be called and be a Christian?
Do you say, I keep the commandments and the law but they do
not even
act as if these things exist.
The Pharisees were amongst those who killed Christ.
Do not condemn others by criteria which you set.
Did you die for the sins of anyone?
Jack and Jill do not do thus and such, which you are fully
aware needs to be obeyed. Therefore how can you say that
God is using them?
God works with people where He has put them and where they
are,
and not where you want them to be.
God is not bothered about your contrived
righteousness nor your theology.
Of course we are commanded to come out of Babylon and
to stop allowing ourselves to be deceived, however God
uses whom He chooses. It does not matter in the slightest
whether you like it or not.
Consider Cyrus who was not an Israelite, but a
Gentile.
God called him His anointed.
He was the king of
Persia and conqueror of Babylon;
first ruler of
Persia to make a decree allowing the
Israelite exiles
to return to Jerusalem.
Isaiah 45:1 ¶ Thus saith the
LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right
hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins
of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the
gates shall not be
shut;
2 I will go before thee,
and make the crooked places straight: I will break in
pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of
iron:
3 And I will give thee the
treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret
places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee
by thy name, am
the God of Israel.
Has the Eternal held your right hand?
Does He go before you?
Does He destroy your enemies?
Does He give you secret treasures?
Check out Nebuchadnezzar. God called him His servant.
Jeremiah 27:6
And now have I given all these lands into the hand of
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the
field have I
given him also to serve him.
Has the Eternal God ever called you His servant?
There
are other examples, but the fact is they obeyed what they were
created to do. Are you doing what you were created to do?
They were obedient are you obedient to do what you are told?
It is very possible for you who has been blessed with many
talents can
be stuck in a rut going nowhere, whilst some who have been
given far less,
and know far less are forging ahead as they listen and
obey.
Never make the serious mistake to believe that now you are
aware that you
have to come out of
Babylon, and that you must listen to and obey God and
not some Church or Guru, that you cannot be deceived
because of what you
now know. If that is what you think then you are already
deceived.
I can assure you that although you have been set free by
the Truth,
which is none other than Christ, Satan has many blind
alleys and cul de sacs
leading to dead ends. He also has his shepherds, wolves in
sheep’s clothing,
waiting to gently seduce you once again into full
membership in his camp.
Pharisees prayed, fasted, tithed and supposedly kept the
law as perfectly as it was
possible for a human to do. In reality they had deceived
themselves into believing
this. They did not keep the law, and I think it would be
fair to say they paid
more attention to the Talmud their horrific rules which
allowed murder,
sexual abuse of babies, bestiality, homosexuality, and that
is to name just a
very tiny sample. Are you shocked? Before his conversion
Saul was a Pharisee,
supposedly a man of God, but he was party to murdering
people.
All I am saying is carefully consider yourself, so that you
are not deceived again.
If you are supporting the wars in the Middle East in the
erroneous believe that
this will speed up Christ’s return. You are already
deceived, and even a party to
murder by association.
Examples
Pharisees Separatists but
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short
of the glory of God;
Pharisees Kill
Matthew 12:14 Then the Pharisees
went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
Pharisees called
Jesus a servant of Satan.
Matthew 12:24 But when the
Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out
devils, but by
Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
Christ said they were a brood of vipers
John 9:16 Therefore said
some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the
sabbath day.
Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such
miracles? And there was a division among them.
Matthew 23:29 Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets,
and
garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents,
ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Matthew 23:34 ¶ Wherefore, behold,
I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye
shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge
in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
Satan
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts
of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no
truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his
own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him.
Pharisees
try entangle others
Matthew 22:15 Then went the
Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
Pharisees are
hypocrites and hinder others.
Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against
men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer
ye them that are entering to go in.
Pharisees
steal under false pretences
Matthew 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence
make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater
damnation.
Pharisees spare not effort to others follow them, then they
make them even worse than themselves.
Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one
proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more
the child of hell than yourselves.
Pharisees appear to be the real thing, righteous even
tithe payers
Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and
cummin,
and have omitted the weightier matters of the law,
judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and
not to leave the other undone.
Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres,
which
indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of
dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Pharisees are legalists
Mark 2:24 And the Pharisees
said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
Mark 7:5 Then the Pharisees
and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of
the
elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
Luke 5:30 But their scribes
and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink
with
publicans and sinners?
Pharisees like to
exalt themselves and complain about everything.
Luke 11:43 Woe unto you,
Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in
the
markets.
Luke 15:2 And the Pharisees
and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
John 9:16 Therefore said
some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the
sabbath day.
Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such

Pharisees like total control and manipulation disfellowship at the drop of a hat
John 12:42 Nevertheless among
the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they
did
not confess him, lest they should be put out of the
synagogue:
The only way out of our dilemmas is Jesus Christ.
He is the only way of escape.
